It’s offensive because it burns my eyes to look at such an awful logo.

I think they would go with the ‘98 version. Everyone remembers that version, not the one they debuted with the block numbers.

So will it have the green spikes or no?

I was wondering the same thing. Turns out it was November of last year.
Not a fan of it, the signal icons demonstrated what the company was more than a star does

When did Sirius change its logo?

He spent 7 years with the Chargers though. It's most definitely his right uniform.
As unlikely as it is he could win the next 4 super bowls and be MVP for all of them. Then what would his right uniform be?

For many RBs.... he is close to the end. Or at least on his last starters contract.
I’m just tired of the first day after a free agency move or trade a guy gets put on here when they only played a handful of seasons for one team. 28 is older for a running back but if he’s any good he’ll have atleast 4 more years, and who knows how much success he’ll have

Austin Ekeler is a Washington Commander now. He'll always be a Charger to me.
He’s 28. It’s not like he’s at the end of his career.

If we're still gonna debate there being a #5 pro league, I'd argue WNBA over MLS.
Being real here, and as an outsider to both leagues, I feel the WNBA gets more press and casual sports fan attention than MLS. Unless it's a past-their-prime name player showing up on an MLS field for an easy payday, they get virtually zero mainstream attention. WNBA's popularity seems to be growing bigger and bigger, especially with the popularity of women's college hoops over the last couple years. That, and the WNBA actually features the world's best players at their respective sport.
The WNBA can’t support itself without the NBA financing them. They pay there players are paid at most 241,000 a year, most are around 60g. I made more than half the league last year. MLS highest paid player is Messi at 12 million per year, highest outside of the exemption is 1.1 million and average being 312g.
all of this to say. NBA is improving marketing for WNBA, including them in AllStar events, and paying ESPN to mention them. Doesn’t change that WNBA viewership numbers are still averaging 700k for the finals compared to MLS that reaches 340k average for a regular season game (same as the NHL) and final of 2.16 million viewers.

This Vernon Krause fellow seems more devoted in the NHL succeeding in Atlanta (might bring the Thrashers identity back too) compared to Ted Turner and Atlanta Spirit. Neither gave a $hit.
He can be as devoted as he wants, doesn’t change the fact that Atlanta is a failed market twice now.

And I’m still going to defend playing that game. The players are paid millions, the fans willingly forked over their money to freeze their asses off and because they didn’t protect themselves, they’re paying the price.
Why should I feel bad for anyone here?
I get paid to potentially get killed for this country. That doesn’t mean we don’t take as much risk out of every scenario or just do suicide missions every day because that’s what we signed up for.

I’d really like to see that Advance Auto Parts scheme for Blaney get photoshopped with Pennzoil being the primary sponsor
If the colors were flipped maybe. Pennzoil only likes being on yellow cars, and logo being on a yellow base.

The game shouldn’t have been played. For public safety it should have been moved anywhere else. It’s not even like it’s unprecedented.

These renderings underwhelm me mainly because of the absence of what Gaming and Leisure Properties, Inc. (the ultimate owner of that 35-acre plot of land) and Bally's might build next to the ballpark. To me, that detail — or lack thereof — prevents the renderings from having a discernible sense of scale and thus keeps alive the big question of whether the ballpark can and does genuinely fit in a mere nine-acre corner of the plot, with a new Bally's-operated resort presumably filling the other 26 acres.
On another note, while some contributors to this thread have discussed the proposed ballpark's resemblance to the Sydney Opera House, it should be noted also that the head of one of the architecture firms for the project claims that (a) the shape of traditional baseball pennants inspired the roof and (b) the ballpark's overall design resembles a "spherical" armadillo.
They can say the design is based on that. That doesn’t mean it didn’t end up looking like the Sydney opera house though

He’ll definitely be a backup, or the starter who’s only the starter because they want the rookie they drafted to sit behind him an learn, which has never worked.

The way Denver treated him this year, I'm sure he's happy to be out of there. He still has the ability to win games and they apparently didn't want that this year. I hope it blows up in their face. He's not a likeable person, but neither is the Bronco brain trust.
He has the ability to game manage at best. His 1 win this year where he had to comeback and win was against Chicago. Everything else was games in the teens where the defense kept them from losing.

It really goes to show how isolated the Seattle sports media is from the rest of the country. If Russ came from anywhere else, his red flags would've been far more prominent in discussion at the onset. However, he won a Super Bowl and went to another (as well as a bunch of playoff appearances), so Seattle fans were the only ones who knew the truth about his play and his issues. Seattle fans being happy to part ways with him should've been a much larger red flag.
You knew Russ was washed just from his last 2 seasons in Seattle. Everyone who regularly followed the NFL knew his body had given out on him and he couldn’t just run around the field for 45 seconds until a guy got open.

This ""solution"" was also thrown around when the schedule went to 17 games. It's not going to happen.
Yea because in just a 18 game season you can’t afford to rest players unless you have your playoff spot locked up where byes and home field advantage are so valuable in a single elimination playoff. In an 82+ game regular season and best of 7 playoff rounds you can pick and choose when to rest starters because seeding isn’t as important as just making it to the playoffs.

You mean the guy in the suit assaulted her. I don’t think mascots are prosecuted under any form of law.

So now there is talk of a 14 team playoff with The BIG & SEC getting 3 automatic bids each (6 spots) and their conference Champions the only 2 teams that get a bye. Why don't they both just break away now and get it over with. :censored:ing dicks.
They’d make a lot less money is why. And when you already get everything you want why would you leave?

How many times does it need to be said that teams social media teams don’t talk to the uniform designers, not until the team is ready to put out teasers. Remember when you thought the jets were going to lime green because their social media started using it. Social media teams just choose what looks good and that’s it.
