  1. The alternative helmet can only be worn with the alternative jersey 3x in the regular season. Problem solved. I couldn't care less if a team wanted a throwback or color rush specific helmet. As long as the main helmet is worn for most of the season.
  2. Has every team with green in their color scheme tried volt/highlighter green at some point? Sure seems like it. I liked it when Oregon first started because their colors are yellow and green. Volt felt like a combination of both. All these other teams just seem like poor imitations.
  3. This is my favorite set Oregon has ever had. The colors just look so awesome and the patterns are well done without being over the top.
  4. Erie Otters 25th Anniversary alternate: Big "meh" from me. Seems like their uniforms just keep getting worse and worse. They took a step in the right direction a few years ago bringing back the otter logo. But still botched it by forcing "Erie" in the helmet. Maybe I'm biased because I grew up with the red/blue/gold look.
  5. You're probably right. Looked into it more and found that they have a 10-year deal for $90 million. Only paying $4 million more than they did Cal. Not a bad deal when put into perspective.
  6. I'm assuming Notre Dame will be the next UA casualty? Hopefully all 3 teams go with Nike and not Adidas.
  7. This. I'm actually annoyed that schools that use Jordan Brand for football and basketball, don't carry that to all sports.
  8. I actually see SDC more than those. Overall it just seems outdated and a bit boring.
  9. I feel like the XFL knew the Vipers were a risky bet and went overly generic on purpose. Maybe they just expected the AAF to fold and move the team to Orlando after a season or two. Almost every other team has a nickname or logo associated with the city.
  10. I really like the IS state logo, but not as a read-through. That alone, with a star in the bottom left. Done.
  11. Seattle's are so close. One of the best helmets along with NY. But the mismatched side panels drove me insane. Makes no sense.
  12. Shoot my bad. Completely forgot it was Starter.
  13. I'd assume it's because they couldn't get deal with a big apparel company. Seems like this would have been perfect for Under Armour or Adidas since they had an AAF deal. I'm actually shocked that the uniforms nice though.
  14. I was wondering the same thing. I think some solid secondaries could really round out a good set of logos. Monograms for teams like NY and St Louis, more detailed logos for Tampa Bay and Los Angeles.
  15. Two good logos so far. Like the simplicity of the Tampa Bay Vipers.
  16. It's usually better for smaller schools to just stick with UA. Typically they end up with more unique designs as opposed to a generic Nike template. Nike doesn't seem to care unless you're Syracuse, Duke, UNC, etc.
  17. Not only will fans hate it, but how terrible would this be for the players and employees of the organization? Imagine having to move your family 1500 miles away to a different country in the middle of the baseball season.
  18. The Browns are a mess right now, but I do really like the color rush aside from one small detail. The "Browns" wordmark on the front should have been tweaked to match the new font. I never liked that serif font and now it doesn't match the wordmark on the front bumper. Even though these were designed prior to the Nike disaster, it shouldn't be hard to update.
  19. Erie was home to a GE locomotive factory for a really long time, so maybe that's what they are going for with that type? I sort of get that vibe but it might be a stretch. All the logos are a bit rough and could be cleaned up a bit. Luckily they look better on the jerseys.
  20. I think they are playing off the penguins fanbase in the area, but using the old Erie Blades to justify it. I grew up with the full logo so there's nostalgia associated with it for me. Also I take it back. The keystone logo is pretty sloppy so it better just stay small on the sleeve.
  21. Really glad they brought the otter logo back. The script alone just doesn't work, but I can deal with it on the gold jersey. The keystone logo is a nice touch too. Maybe that will make an appearance on the alternate in the future.
  22. I don't understand why people go through so much work with these photoshops of newly acquired players. Just wait a few months and you'll get a real photo of these guys on the field. Just looking at some of the OBJ ones make my uniform OCD go crazy.
  23. Sometimes script logos are fine. But the Otters script is so wonky and sloppy it never deserved to be the centerpiece of the teams branding. I grew up with the old logo. I wish they would have just kept that, as cheesy as it was....
  24. I'm sure Brandiose can give them this stuff... 1. Music note with a face shaped like an 'F' or 'K' 2. Firework with a face swinging a baseball bat 3. An F+K combination with fireworks and music notes 4. Overly designed wordmark made up of fireworks and music notes am I missing anything?
