  1. Thanks! Technically yeah the official mascot is a mastiff, but lots of bulldogs and pitbulls seemed to sneak their way in
  2. Glad to see mine is still in the top 10. But man there's some interesting options to say the least.
  3. I've never understood it when the young people call something "mid". Then I saw these uniforms and completely understand the phrase. These are exactly that.
  4. A few things stick out right away. Are these the first Nike designed NFL uniforms to not use a custom number font? The logo inconsistency is really bugging me. Each jersey has a different variation, which are different than the helmet logos, which are different than the primary logo. So technically the Cardinals have 5 different versions of the logo now? Lack of striping on the red. I get the history there but it's just too bland. The entire set could benefit from some gold accents. After weeks of "unique color scheme" this is anything but. Black/red is probably the most nonunique scheme is sports.
  5. These all turn into a popularity contest. The leader right now is a submission by a designer that has done a good job of creating a following on Tiktok and Instagram. A person will 100,000+ followers is going to win.
  6. Definitely something I struggled with was finding a way to make it stand apart from other dog logos. I knew I wanted a forward facing bull mastiff as a modernization of their 03-14 dog logo, with harsh shadows, but adding a collar, guitar pick + C tag, etc.
  7. We've got no news, no leaks......our pets heads are falling off!
  8. Some of the results are definitely.....interesting. https://web.witcontests.com/browns/contest/design-your-ideal-cleveland-br-230405 Not that it's unexpected, given it's a fan contest. I started up top but I'm sliding.
  9. Agree completely. The Titans original uniforms were some of my least favorite in the NFL. They literally looked like a low budget arena football team that ordered uniforms from a catalog. The helmet, jersey and pants made no sense together. Traditional generic pants, weird spiked helmet stripes like the Ravens, somewhat modern jersey and an atrocious number font. While the current Titans set has its flaws, I still consider it a massive upgrade.
  10. I really like the color balance, with cream over black and small touches of red. The number font isn't great, but I get the inspiration and i'll give them credit that everything is well thought out compared to some City Connect uniforms.
  11. Exactly. NFL teams can wear alternates 3 games a year, unless they petition the league for an exemption. Something that has only happened once I believe for the 49ers anniversary season. College football only really cares about number legibility and player safety when it comes to uniforms. Teams could wear a a dozen different jerseys throughout the season and it would be perfectly okay. Comparing the NFL to college football is a pretty extreme stretch.
  12. This was driving me insane watching the Guardians/Mariners game tonight. Neither team has a jersey sponsor, but their logo/patch still moved to the opposite arm depending on how they bat or pitch. So on TV all you see is a blank sleeve. Not to mention the Guardians winged logo looks incredibly stupid flying backwards on the left sleeves.
  13. Love the return to original "ball" but that font ain't it. Personally I've always like the script font. I may be biased though because I'm a Coke drinker. They probably want to keep their brand as distant as possible from their main competitor.
  14. Anyone saying "at least it's not Nike" is completely delusional. Fanatics has been a trainwreck in everything they have produced. I don't expect this to be any different.
  15. Agreed. The whole time watching the game, the bug just seemed way too big. I usually prefer them to be more horizontal than vertical. But this seemed oversized in both directions. If that makes sense.
  16. I've never understood why they went with the Monsters nickname. The Lumberjacks and Barons have so much history in Cleveland, whole Monsters just seems boring. Would have been the perfect time for a rebrand when they moved away from the Lake Erie name.
  17. The second tweet is from the Browns owner who is in charge of branding and uniforms.
  18. Looks like the Browns may be going to white facemasks permanently in the near future Just another reason why it is so dumb to have a piece of equipment as your primary logo.
  19. The Bengals uniforms just aren't good and for some reason every single time someone has a negative comment you jump in to defend them. Yes they are better than the previous set, but just about anything would be. Just because you are a fan of a team doesn't mean you can't admit they have ugly uniforms.
  20. It's comical watching footage from the 90s and thinking the types of things we complain about here. When players were running around looking like this: Lots of exposed abs, super baggy undershirts, giant pads and huge goofy facemasks for QBs.
  21. I'm a sucker for non-outlined wordmarks and numbers. So naturally I love everything about this and wouldn't change a thing. Should have known what I would walk into when I came to see my friends at the CCSLC.
  22. Since it's Cleveland I probably would have went with this font instead:
  23. I don't live in NE Ohio anymore, but my understanding has always been that it's the overarching name for all of the nature preserves/reservations, public parks, beaches, zoo, golf courses, etc in the Cleveland area. I get the connection since Cleveland has always be called "Forest City" but the light blue and tan don't make me think of any park I've ever been to in the area. Dark green and tan would have made more sense.
