  1. I'm so happy you've continued to work on this, Pascal! Corinthians FC looks just like the real-life Sao Paulo Corinthians, so I don't know if that's intentional, but I'm enjoying the series. Keep it up!
  2. I remember seeing the Arrows, Owls, Hammers and Colts logos over on Twitter and really liking them. The Cranes, Owls and Arrows are my favorites. Looking at them again, Pohang's branding doesn't look as bold as the others. It might be because of the Hammers having a thin font in black with a thin red outline with only the yellow inline trim across the bottom of the text to make it stand out. That text looks like it bleeds onto the black ring, and unlike Ulsan's where we also see black text over black, the white outline used on the Arrows logo is bold enough to stand out as a strong look. I think having a bolder font or even swapping around the colors on the Hammers text could help them out. I'd love to see your takes on potential expansion teams outta the NPB down the road.
  3. Hey, Hugo! Good to see you continue putting out these great concepts! Just one thing about Kensington. I noticed in the club bio, the owner liked fencing. Were fencing swords, in this case dual rapiers or even sabers considered for the badge? Keep up the good work!
  4. I've made a first draft of a new football uniform template from scratch. The uniform's based off the Nike Untouchable Vapor with beltless pants, while the helmet is based off the Vicis Zero1. I do need to add some details here and there, but everyone's welcome to use this if they want to.
  5. I've looked through this thread and thoroughly enjoyed the insane 90's takes of those teams. I was thinking more green would appear on the Devils concept along with red and black. There's something that seems very...conservative about Vegas' concept. I kinda expected good, black and neon colors, or gold, black, red white and blue like on the Welcome to Las Vegas sign. Still, looking forward to the last three teams.
  6. Yes, indeed. They'd be good additions to the uniforms.
  7. You kinda missed the mark with Western Kentucky not having an alternate red helmet. Some of the best times in WKU program history happened with red helmets, even though they were in FCS at that point. Couldn't have hurt to have some more updated Louisiana Tech logos in LaTech's set.
  8. You absolutely knocked it out the park with Duke's logo. Patiently waiting for your next works, Ritt.
  9. This is one of my favorite threads to follow since coming back. Keep 'em coming, Pascal!
  10. That's who I meant, thanks for the correction. I confused Fire with Blaze, the mascot.
  11. The Tulsa Shock would be the sister team to the Thunder, but they did move from Detroit, though. You could add the Charlotte Sting, Portland Blaze, and Utah Starzz, and probably rename Utah. Memphis should have a team, too.
  12. I wonder why North Carolina and Notre Dame's logos appear larger than the other members. UConn's logo looks off on the American. Still, I'm curious for the others.
  13. This is a stellar start. The first thing that comes to mind is that conference full name's text looks so uneven. Straightening it up would be a nice start.
  14. JS Limoges immediately reminds me of Lorient in the actual Ligue 1. The similarities are so strong, but I still think this looks fine.
  15. What about a Minnesota United in NSC Minnesota Stars colors, since that's who they were beforehand.
  16. Thank you very much, Raysox. Coming from you, this means a lot. Moving on to a couple more basic works in Illustrator. When PRO Rugby began play last year, I immediately thought of team identities to apply for the five clubs that competed. The league had openly said the colors and designs used for each team weren't final, but they did have a Name the Team contest wherein fans can submit team names in the first round, and the most requested three for each would be submitted in the final round. I took matters in my own hands, and I have two rebranding attempts to show. First things first, this post I made on my social media accounts: Since San Diego has and actual rugby team named the Armada, I'd decided to rename them the Admirals. The team that ended being the Ohio Aviators I had as the Obetz BlueCollars/Blue Collars, first draft. I can't draw fancy letters yet, haha. A second take, with a more serious block B and dropshadow. The team that ended up being the Sacramento Express I had as Northern California Rugby, or NorCal Rugby. Here's a first draft. A second draft, with thicker strokes. I never finished the rebranding project, and never even made uniforms. Perhaps I may return to it, if I'm feeling up for it.
  17. There's something about Nebraska that feels more like a miss than a hit. Don't get me wrong, it looks good, but I just liked the bland helmet N more. Otherwise, excellent work on the B1G.
  18. I'm not sure if others here can see it, but I can't see the Simon Fraser rebrand image here, unlike on the original Behance. Otherwise, I like this presentation a lot. I kinda got caught off guard with #WACtivate, though. I'll agree with Jaha about the spacing for S and K on the Basketball Tournament logo.
  19. The last of my COF forum Paint kits and a more recent set will be shown here: A kit for Scottish club St. Mirren. The last of my COF mainline work, a quickly done St. Gallen's (Switzerland) home kit in 2013. I may come back to cover other COF work, mainly stuff for a user-run created league that ran there. Recently, I made a couple sets for the rugby team I play for at the end of 2015. I made the shield logo on this concept on Illustrator, the first time in several months I even used it around that time. You could say I had fallen out of favor with making stuff at that time. The most recent posted Paint work I've done was this Nike Barbarian FC rugby concept from last year.
  20. Much appreciated. I actually prefer Paint and pixel art (it's an acquired taste), but I guess once I get a feeling for it, I'll do more Illustrator work as time progresses. Still going back into the COF Archives, from 2010: More old DC United concepts. After DC United, there was an updated Chicago Fire PUMA concept in 2010. A European home kit for Borussia Dortmund. The two tones of yellow were intentional. Rounding off this post, an Ajax Cape Town (South Africa's ABSA Premiership) home kit.
  21. Hey everyone. I used to be known as The NSL on these forums years ago. When Colours of Football had a forum, I went by my real name. This thread will serve as a general works section for me. Most of what you'll see will be on Paint, since I've been used to doing it, but will have occasional sketches and stuff on more advanced programs like Adobe Illustrator. Ultimately, this would be considered a self-motivational thread, since I feel I've lost touch with design, and want to get back into it. I previously had a thread here from 2008 to 2009, The NSL's WTF Thread. But here I am, nearly 9 years later, new username, a lot calmer. Most of the works here on this first post will be COF Paint+ works done from November 2009 until the closing of the forums. Continuing on my take on MLS clubs from the end of the WTF Thread continued with an Umbro Vancouver Whitecaps take. A VfB Stuttgart home concept, with PUMA. A Southampton away kit with Umbro. A Racing Santander away kit with SLAM, for a contest. Continuing the MLS concepts, there was the first version of the DC United entry, with shades of techfit.
  22. I think you nailed down Pacific. Their uniforms and helmets would change often, but had mainly standard uniforms, as this video below would show: All that aside, I love this modern take on a traditional look, with the blades serving as tiger stripes.
  23. If Iowa does decide to have new uniforms, it should look like these. Good work, man.
  24. I'd like to see a black pants version of the 'Lopes concept. Goodness, that Grand Canyon set is awesome.
  25. It's an alright start. For killing boredom, it's actually pretty nice. The layout seems a bit too big or high for my liking. The font for the could be a bit more bold, and I'm not really a fan of how the silver gradient on GS seems to bleed into the golden color. There's a lot of space used for the actual score... The entire right side of the scoreboard could have been spaced out, thought out better. The game clock, shot clock and foul count look so compressed under the ESPN logo. I actually don't understand the metallic golden color for the presentation, neither. It's either for a regular season game or a Western Conference playoff game, I feel an NBA Finals scoreboard deserves that golden touch, as cliche as it sounds. Have you tried placing the scorebug on different places of a wide picture, to imagine what it would look like on an actual televised NBA game? Give that a shot.
