Agreed, one thing that hasn't grown on me with the Twins' CC is the inclusion of yellow, which reminds me too much of their neighbors to the east (Milwaukee) and west (Seattle). Replacing it with the mint green that is (oddly) only seen on the caps in real life would work great, in my opinion.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but the Twins' City Connect is growing on me. I still don't love it, but I don't hate it, either. Here is my recreation of it, along with my newest alterations: I removed the stripes from the pattern to make it seem more "liquid," and kept the logos shuffled around like previous iterations.

Thank you very much! It wouldn’t have been possible without your wonderful template!

Thank you very much! Also, I forgot to mention, but the MLB full uniforms are now up and can be seen all together on my website! I’ve also been trying out a bunch of new ideas for the Twins’ City Connect, but I think I’m down to these two. I’m pretty sure I know which one I prefer (if only slightly), but what say you? Let me know below. (Bonus points to whoever can figure out where I sourced the water ripples from )

Thanks to everyone who followed along! I know this series might have been a bit uneventful, since I already posted the jersey designs years ago, and I didn't make that many radical changes, but I hope seeing the full uniforms was enjoyable nonetheless! Next up, I'll finally venture into a sport other than baseball for the first time in a while...

Arizona Diamondbacks I went back to the striping style of the previous uniforms, but kept the turquoise accents, and the off-white home jersey (which I kind of predicted), as well as the new "Diamondbacks" wordmark. Their City Connect is underrated in my view, so I only removed the pants stripe to go further emphasize the sand background.

I'd never thought about that, but it kind of does. I did go with black in my previous, jersey-only version of this series, I wanted to keep it a bit more traditional this time, but maintain a similar spirit. If you'll notice, the tomahawk is actually now a fireman's axe, replacing the stereotypical connotations of the name with something that is true to the city of Atlanta.

Atlanta Braves Instead of black, I went with the new really dark navy that Texas and Toronto have used for their City Connects. I also went back to the navy-on-navy alternate, I kind of miss that look now that it's gone. Their City Connect definitely plays it safe but is overall a good look, so no changes.

Baltimore Orioles I think the O's might have the most underrated uniforms in baseball, so changes are mostly reserved to the black alternate, where, inspired by the City Connect, I went with a plain white script with orange accents for the front number & player name on the back. For the City Connect, I know it's probably overplayed, but I feel like a Maryland flag pattern makes more sense for the sleeve trim than a pattern arbitrarily somehow inspired by Baltimore's neighborhoods.

Boston Red Sox Their identity is obviously pretty classic, so only minimal changes, like adding stripes back on the sleeves reminiscent of the early Ted Williams days, as well as adding striping back on both of the alternates. Their City Connect is a radical departure from their main set, but has such an important significance to Boston and their history. So, I just updated the hat to match the jersey wordmark, making it look less like a UCLA cap.

I think I like their current look slightly better, but I don't mind this look. Like you, I don't love the Reds using black, but I think the color scheme could work for another team, maybe an expansion team like Nashville or someone like that.

Chicago Cubs I added the thick blue cuffs back on the home, went with the 60's away design, and brought back the 80's blue alternate. Essentially a combination of different eras throughout Cubs' history. Their City Connect was pretty underwhelming at first, but it's grown on me a bit.

Ah okay, that makes sense. I think it could be a good look, but a bit too modern for the Reds for my tastes. Here's a look at the away jersey: Thanks! Here's a look (with a white cap), I dig it: I very nearly went with a white cap for the black alternate, but decided against it. Here's a look at a few options: I actually probably like the tri-color option best. Thanks! I just really like matching number fonts, haha.

Chicago White Sox I went with the City Connect number font and double-stripe across the board. I also flipped the colors of the away wordmark, and added a "White Sox" script alternate and a black-&-white version of the '83 throwback. It pains me to admit it, but the Sox' City Connect is perfect, so no changes.

I'm sorry, but is this a joke? The Reds have a black shadow on their numbers & script in real life. That's pretty much the one major thing I changed.

Cincinnati Reds I went the traditional route, dropping black and adding a pinstripe alt. I also kept the wavy wordmark created by Twitter user @SethR94. Although I don't love that their City Connect doesn't actually have any connection to the city, I don't mind how it looks aesthetically.

Cleveland Guardians I went with the red-brimmed cap across the board, and added back the red undersleeves, belt, and socks accents, based on the mid-2010s Cleveland look. For the City Connect, I went with a navy cap, with the matching font, so that the art deco bevel texture can be seen in the logo.

Thanks! I've personally never liked the Rockies using any black, I feel like it just muddles things up for them (unlike the Ravens, where purple & black is obviously essential for their scheme). The Guardians won't see many major changes, as this series is mostly reserved to minor adjustments and chaanges only as needed. If I were to do a Redesigns series in the future, I would probably go something along the lines of the City Connect set full-time for them. The home white actually has an "invisible" white outline around the home, so removing it from the away would actually lose the consistency. Plus, the white outline helps with legibility. That would actually hurt the legibility I'd say, as the purple & white would contrast more than purple & gray, making the individual letters harder to read. Since the background is dark on the purple alt, it makes sense for the outer border to be lighter, to offer better contrast for the letter forms. The Rockies do this in real life, if they followed the "outlines are darker" format, the outer part of the "CR" would be purple, making it near-impossible to read on a black background.

Colorado Rockies I dropped black from the color scheme to simplify it to purple & silver. I also added a "snow white" alternate to be worn at home. Their City Connect is one of my favorites, so I just simplified the logos to be within the overall forest green & purple color scheme.

I didn't like the cchange the Tigers made to unify their logos when they first made the switch, but it has since grown on me. The cap logo is much stronger & "bolder" as a logo to encompass the team's entire branding around. It unfortunately is not, I have the template & designs created in an .AI format.

Detroit Tigers The Tigers have some pretty classic uniforms, so the only change I made was to drop the white outline from the road jersey (I don't even really mind the white outline, but I admit it does interfere with the "classic" feel). For the City Connect, I added orange as an accent color, and went with the tiger logo for the cap.

As much as I love the color scheme, can't say I'm a big fan of it for them.

Thanks! I don't necessarily hate the Royals' BFBS, but the Mets kind of already have black & royal blue locked down, at least for me. The away wordmark is actually almost as high as it can go, if you look at the button right above it, it just looks low because the arch is a bit stronger than is typical (like their away jersey is in real life). Sure: I think the navy wordmarks are slightly more readable. But I wouldn't hate it. Thanks! Here's the road jersey with the blue cap (which I imagined they would wear as an occasional combo): This is a good opportunity to remind everyone, if there are any combos of hat/jersey/pants that you would like to see that are not part of the main set, let me know, and I would be happy to oblige!

Houston Astros I went with orange as the primary color over navy, and added back the "shooting star" on the front. Their City Connect is among the best, I just added the gradient from the numbers onto the wordmark.
