I've been posting my NFL concepts for a few months, but I've been doing them just one at a time. I've gotten some nice feedback (thanks) but a single concepts they do seem to disappear rather quickly. I've decided to gather them altogether, along with a few new ones (like the following Cowboy concept), which seems to be the preferred way most of us do this. As always, let me know what you think.
Starting with the NFC East,
So, l love your Cowboy concept, but, are those baby blue secondary stripes on the sleeves? Or, does my phone operate on the Flintstone plan? Obviously, silver secondary stripes are better, but...

My point about the W is that the scripts would be a lot more legible without the drop shadows. But because of the cap logo, it needs them in order to match. I just wonder how many tweaks you have to make before you end up with something different enough to justify scrapping the entire thing. I get the feeling that a lot of Brewers fans are sick of the current identity simply because of the perception that it keeps getting forced on us when its obvious what the fans prefer.
But I'm gonna go off on a tangent now because this is the unpopular opinions thread... I don't actually mind when baseball teams combine their city and nickname for a cap monogram. I'll admit my biases as a BiG loyalist are at play here. But I also logged in a lot of hours playing Super Baseball Simulator 1.000 as a tween and teen, which made me curious about Japanese baseball where this is a much more common practice.

Yakult Swallows:
Hanshin Tigers:
In some cases, the "city" is actually the corporation that sponsors the team. The Yomiuri Giants for example, play at the Tokyo Dome and wear scripts that actually say "TOKYO" on their road greys.
Who is this Yakult, and is she single?

I prefer the Eagles in midnight green; not only is it unique to them, but they've appeared in two Super Bowls and won their only one in it. I usually associate Kelly green with the Jets, anyway.
Uffff, and everyone had a dark green car in the 90s!!!!! So bland, bring back some liveliness!!!!!

As a baseball player in the mid to late eighties, this is the look we rocked! And to my opinion, the best!

I went to western Illinois for four years and never saw a single game of any sport the entire time I was there. I don't think I even own any WIU Gear. I don't feel any loyalty as a fan to the athletics there at all. I have always been a huge U of I fan though, namely men's basketball and football. I've seen tons of games, watch most of them on tv and I have lots of hats and shirts, but I don't have any personal connection to the school beyond the fact that Illinois is my home state and the U of I is the most prominent school in the state but I'm definitely a fan.
I'm the same way, grew up fifty miles northeast of Columbia, Mo and didn't go to Mizzou, but I love them. Went to a junior college in Missouri, moved to New Mexico and finished my degree. I will always bleed black and gold, though! Especially here in north Georgia, surrounded by Dawg fans!!

Barkley wore that uniform for all of half a dozen preseason games and you think it's the "right" uniform? Seriously?
I just think the Sun's original uniform looks better than their 92 redesign. I agree though that people tend to associate Barkley with the nineties set.

We have the Players in the "Wrong" Uniforms thread and within that thread I've seen a few "Right Team, Wrong Uniform" entries. I thought I'd separate the two, because it is an interesting topic of its' own.
Here are a few to start the thread off with ...
Charles Barkley, Preseason 1992, Phoenix Suns
Matt Hasselbeck, 2001, Seattle Seahawks
Jeff Bagwell, 1992, Houston Astros.
My opinion, all three of these players are in the right uniform.

And that's the best both teams have ever looked. Sadly, both got Nikefied the next season.
That shade of blue for Denver was beautiful!!!! And reminds me of childhood!!

MLB: Cardinals (I grew up in NE Missouri, it's a given!!!!!!)
NFL: Steelers (my family is from Philly, picked at six years old outta spite!!! Constant quote "Ya don't like the Green and Grey?" The Eagle fans hate the Steelers, and I hate the Eagles!!!!!!)
NBA: ATL Hawks. I have lived in Atlanta area for five years and I've never had an NBA team, I guess it works?????
NHL: StL Blues, pretty obvious, pretty depressing?!?!
