  1. As much of a die-hard Patriots as I am, I think we all know where this game is heading. Big congratulations to the Bills. They played great, executed on a lot of plays, and it was a well-prepared and well-deserved victory. I can’t think of any huge fans on here off hand right now, or else I'd tag you, but hope you guys enjoy the playoff run.

The loss is meh. As I said before, I didn’t expect the playoffs this year, so anything else beyond game 17 is just gravy. I’d rather the Patriots get a better placed first draft pick (I mean multiple draft picks in later rounds, ya’ll know how that works) instead of making it too far and hurting their position. I was never confident with this group of receivers nor the defense as a whole. There were glimpse of "oh, this is one of those Patriots defense that sputters out at the end of the year into the playoffs" and sure enough, those vibes were correct. I'm hoping for some major overhauls this offseason, and seeing old friends like Hightower and Van Noy being sent to pasture instead of huffing and puffing to keep up with younger offensive weapons.

I know some people will disagree with this, and that’s okay, but in my opinion Mac Jones played well this evening, and had a great season. It doesn’t help to be a rookie QB in the playoffs. It doesn’t help to play in such a hostile environment. It doesn’t help when the offensive line is leaking pressure. It doesn’t help when your receivers have 6-7 drops. Despite that, Mac Jones played well tonight. I thought this team was done when James White was injured earlier in the season, as I thought he would be a tremendous safety net for Mac. I am very excited about the Patriots’ future with Mac Jones as their QB. If they can get a WR1, Jones is going to do some special things.

I just wish tonight's game was more competitive, and I wish even more Ian Eagle didn't have to announce it. At least the Bruins won today!

  2. I think a more dumb rule is the “taunting” penalty that Trent Brown received. The NFL needs to stop pretending they have any sort of morality or integrity left to protect.

Aaron Rogers can tell the Chicago fans he owns them, Stefon Diggs can tell New England fans to “shut the f— up”, but Trent Brown yelling at a Bills player is more damaging to the shield?

I might be comparing apples to oranges, but who cares what these guys say to one another out on the field.

It's just the complete hypocrisy that gets me.  either call it out, or don't.

Regardless of how BS those calls were, yeah Patriots didn't deserve to win this. I don't think their defense stopped Buffalo  once this game.

It’s not going to happen though, so just let it go. Six Super Bowls we got so who cares? It’s like arguing with someone in 2021 who doesn’t think Tom Brady is the best to do it. It’s in vain. Trust me. Don’t engage.

As for their game, you can’t win when you muff 4-5 chances to swing the game in your favor and the defense decides not to. This game was on them completely.

I'm so glad a team with major questions at Goalie ended up trading away Dan Vladar just to blow money on some scrub goalie from Buffalo.

Let's not act like Swayman and Ullmark are doing terrible; the weakness is the defense.

The Bruins defensive corps was absolutely exposed in the playoffs last year, and the Bruins decided to try to fix it by signing Derek Forbert. They've been playing terrible in their own zone, headlined by Jakub Zboril who, despite being a first round pick that the Bruins saw more potential in than Thomas Chabot, might be one of the worst players in recent Bruins history.

  5. Mac Jones has looked good, and in a small sample size, is far and away the best rookie QB right now. Considering how much pressure New Orleans put on him, he had poise. Anybody who says he's not doing well isn't watching the games. He is exactly what the Patriots need, but the weapons around him aren't really improved from last year considering how much money they spent.

Next week should be interesting. I'm expecting Brady to tear the defense apart, but hopefully it's an entertaining game. Onward and upward, Pats.

What bothers me is the Coyotes are actually using the wrong logo. Check the second picture on the  tweet above, the pattern of the right arm goes Black/Beige/Purple when really it should be Purple/Beige/Purple as seen on the other arm. Like this:

And the Yotes are using the wrong logo on their Twitter icon and banner as well. I'm surprised nobody on the team notices that. Talk about inconsistency on the arm stripes SMH.

One more thing: The logo isn't outlined well too as the tail and right leg don't have the Beige outline.

I can't unsee the white area under the moon as an exposed jock strap.
