Miami's green and black alternates look just like the retail leaks

Sadly they decided to go with a black helmet on the "Miami Nights" uniforms. Green is being called "State of Miami" for what it's worth (absolutely nothing, actually)

    Those. Are. Terrible.

I only like the Sebastian on the gloves, it gives them that "U" feel. To be honest, they look like very high quality practice jerseys. Hopefully they get some Orange throwbacks or something of that nature. Maybe a all white? Who cares. These very well might be ONE OF Adidas' worst uniform designs of all time.

Cursed as in they've been 33-7 in them, including a trip to the Playoff? Poor you.

Ever since they fixed the shade of gold and weird purple-y facemask, I think the current FSU look is great. I've even warmed up on the Christmas sweater pattern.

Yes it's been terrible so far. We as FSU fans have standards. 7 losses in 3 years is unacceptable imo.

What they need to go back to is this

I actually like the current uniforms since they fixed all the initial problems they had (still rather have white numbers than gold on the home though. I always think Boston College currently.) but the above are still better and should have never been changed.

Facts, these new unis are cursed and I don't really like them that much. Maybe I'll like them in 10 years. Our "iconic" unis are simple and basically perfect.

I was at that game in Arlington when we played Okie State. These gold numbers were damn near impossible to read under the lights.

I'd just like to remind everyone that he and his ideas are not representative of FSU fans as a whole.

Lmao I'm that 1% of FSU fans that believe that we're the best sports program of all time

Doesn't change that he never played for San Diego, ever. Isn't even from San Diego. Babe Ruth is known by all of North America if not the world, doesn't mean he will be on every cities Mount Rushmore.

Im from Atlanta if you didn't realize that

The UFL wanted to get in with the NFL and it didn't happen. I think the only way spring football works is if the NFL admits it needs the backups to get more meaningful snaps before the preseason. The MLF just needs to be buried. It's not even a junk bond anymore.

No problem.  That should be a pretty easy thing to do.  I'm 100% in on trying to get the next season running, but once that's all done I'll take care of it for you.

Wait... does Madden 17 have a legit team creator?  I've thought that Madden was pretty much garbage basically since they signed the exclusive license with the NFL, so I haven't been paying attention.  If I can use it to get a sense of what some of these designs might look like in 3D, it might be worth picking up a used copy.

I've used Teambuilder fairly extensively in the past, but I think the Guardians are the only AFA team that I've done.

Damn, dude.  I thought the days of that happening were over.  Welcome to the AFA.  I expect the next expansion to be in the late 80s or early 90s.  It will bring the league to an even 30 teams, and having an equal number of teams per division will make things much easier for me, so it may be earlier rather than later.

I don't think that there's one in the game, but I think you can do it with this Generic Edior:

San Diego I agree on Gwynn, Hoffman, Fouts. Other two I'd put Steve Fisher and Don Coryell

LT wouldn't make the cut now that he's proven to be an LA lover. And Gates while good hasn't had nearly the impact of Fisher or Gates on both the team and the sport.

How did I forget Hank Aaron smh

Actually, I'm pretty new here myself and am still learning. This project is mostly about practice with inkscape and design and such. If you're looking for tips...I would check out Veras' History of a Professional Football League. Veras does a great job with world-building and creating a sense of history for the league. Also check out hawkfan89's Professional Hockey League; a fictional history. Another good series that does a fantastic job telling stories and giving fans recognizable characters and teams to root for. They both are much more realistic than what I'm doing here, are presented better, and are designed better overall. I'm sure they'd be willing to help out with any questions.

...As far advice from me...have some logos and designs ready to go before you start posting and going through seasons and try to be organized. Trying to wing it can lead to problems. Figure out how you're going to be simulating the games, how you'll settle ties, and how you want to tell your league's story and get a little bit ahead before you post your first concepts. That's one thing I wish I had done.

Thanks for the info. I'll start next week.
