  1. I propose they change their name in honor of the local stream that runs near campus, the Virgin River. Virgin State-St. George? Virgin University of Utah (what other state would it be in?). Idk, I just think the student body would really get behind it.
  2. I’d get rid of the woodmark. It doesn’t add anything to this set. Otherwise great work again.
  3. Brown and Yellow is hideous. The Padres should’ve left it for dead. Navy/Sand was gorgeous and perfect for the city.
  4. Exactly what I was going to say. It isn’t wrong unless you think wrong. And that’s coming from a High Schooler. Love these concepts. Favorite logo so far has been Miami’s. Love the overall identity. Great work!
  5. Gary has been great for the sport. I mean, moving a team to Arizona was a freakin no brainer. But then to oversee the franchise to make sure they wouldn’t move anytime soon? Good guy. Hartford? Please. North Carolina is a great hockey state. No one in Hartford even cares about hockey. Sunrise, Florida? Naturally! Oh, and don’t get me started on Vegas. Such a smart move. I can’t wait to see how much success they have in 5 years. Great fans in Nevada! Now of course there were a few bumps. Winnipeg should NEVER have a team. And how has Mexico not gotten a team? They ARE in the Sun Belt, so they need a team! Its just Manifest Destiny! #DesertHockey #Sunrise,FLHockey #MoveSouth
  6. I’d love to see your Coyotes concept with teal or green replacing purple. I do think the purple somewhat works, but it would look better with a different color IMO. Still and interesting and well executed concept. The Blues gold color you used is ugly. Other than that, I don’t mind the set. I actually like the double blue, but a return to just royal would be fine by me. Oh and the stripes remind me of the Nashville Preditors.
  7. Does anyone else have an issue with the Tampa Bay having 1. Two different logos on two different sleeves and 2. The one logo says “Bucs”?
  8. As someone who is from Houston, I’m pretty sure the NHL would work here. What irks me about the situation in Quebec is the NHL has no issues making merchandise money from the fans in the city and people all over. But no, Vegas just NEEDS a team.
  9. 100% agree with you here. Instead of branding themselves as some stupid local food or uniforms that look like something from a film, they use their platform for good. I like this.
  10. I would think so. The rebrand was a disaster and they owned teal in the MLB (I know the Dbacks also had it). Going back to the 2003 set with the black pinstripes on the home and the home alt (pictured above) seems like a rational choice. They better have a black AND teal hat though...
  11. I actually like that white helmet. It mixes things up, which is cool. Minnesota has a classic look, but adding things like that cartoon gopher is nice. Besides, how could you NOT use that awesome logo somewhere?
  12. I can’t get behind that Colorado helmet for some reason. It is begging for some gold IMO. Other than that, everything looks nice. I like the GA Tech helmet, really awsome idea. I agree with @MCM0313, Tulane looks great!
  13. I like the new LAC uniforms. Butt stripe and all.
  14. Cool Idea! I like the Hot Shots logo, very unique. Also, is this going to be a simulation league or just concepts?
  15. See, I was born in '00. Im a Cardinals fan for life, so I really don't like the Royals. I didn't follow baseball untill 08 or so, and by then BFBS had fizzled out fot the most part. But I just really like those black Royals hats for some reason.
  16. I actually own a Mets and Royals BFBS cap. Even though I am a Cards fan, I had to get them. Payed three bucks at the local antique store. Dont know what it is, but they both look right to me. Probably because I grew up with them wearing black, but IMO it looks nice. A's on the other hand have no business in black...
  17. My unpopular opinion is that the Kansas City Royals having black caps and uniforms in the mid 2000s was good. The uniforms may not have been the best things ever, but of all the black craze in the in the 90s and 2000s, they were certainly some of the best of the black uniforms used by MLB teams. Much better than the other teams take on black (As, Rangers, Mets, Reds)
