  1. Did you see his performance against the Bucs a few weeks ago? While the entire Rams team was melting down around him, he carried them to a win and had arguably one of the best postseason QB performances in recent memory. Not to mention he's led them on three game winning drives in this postseason alone! I don't know many QBs who could have won this game today with two starting receivers and a starting tight end out while playing behind a shaky o-line and supported by a running game that produced a whopping 43 yards. Look at the numbers he produced in Detroit and now add a Super Bowl win to his resume. Yes, I would say he's definitely reached Hall of Fame status.
  2. Rams are just completely out of weapons aside from Kupp. Its going to take a miracle at this point
  3. *undefeated regular season All I'm saying is that he ranks 151st all-time in career sack totals. Mike Vrabel had .5 fewer career sacks than Seymour and arguably had just as much of an impact on that dominant 2000s Patriots defense. And even if I were to agree and say that Seymour's accomplishments are HOF worthy, it still doesn't make any sense that he got in before pass rushers like Joey Porter, Simeon Rice, Robert Mathis, Dwight Freeney, Jared Allen, John Abraham, *DeMarcus Ware (all of whom are eligible and had numerous all-pro selections and put up better numbers over a longer period). *Edit: Speaking of Ware, I'm just baffled that they snubbed him this year. He is absolutely a first-ballot hall of famer in my mind.
  4. I'm already preparing to be disappointed by a new Cardinals uniform and then immediately feeling nostalgic for the current look. I'd rather have mediocre uniforms over whatever horrible concoction Nike has probably come up with.
  5. Richard Seymour? I remember him being a great defensive end for many years in New England, but was he really a Hall of Famer? Only 57.5 career sacks. I never considered him to be anywhere near as dominant as Dwight Freeney or Julius Peppers were in the 2000s.
  6. I'm not sure how I feel about this. It looks like it's taking up way too much space on the screen, unless the top part of the screen is missing from the picture. I'm not a huge fan but maybe it'll look better once we see it in action and in HD on Sunday
  7. Cooper Kupp cannot be contained. The man is a legend. I don't think I've seen a more dominant postseason run for a receiver since Larry Fitzgerald in 2008.
  8. Yep, that was the dumbest challenge attempt I've ever seen in a playoff game.
  9. Is Mike Martz coaching the Rams again? Is McVay seriously going to burn his last timeout on a second dumb challenge? He was clearly down, unless there's an angle they haven't shown us on the broadcast yet.
  10. McVay is getting completley outcoached in this game. And the 49ers are playing like they want it more
  11. Rams are once again making way too mistakes. Too many drops and that bad INT by Stafford.
  12. Congrats to all the Bengals fans on here!! You guys have waited a long time for this
  13. As a fellow Bills fan, I completely agree. I'm trying to imagine how a hypothetical CIN-BUF AFC championship matchup would be playing out right now. And honestly, I feel like it'd be a close game like the one we're seeing now. It just feels like KC, BUF, CIN and maybe even TEN are all so evenly matched at the top of the conference that I don't think anybody could have blown out anybody in this tournament, IMO.
  14. Bengals have tied this game up. Wow. It looked like this was going to be a blowout after KC went up 21-3. Can the Bengals defense do what the Bills' D couldn't and contain Mahomes' magic for the fourth quarter?
  15. He has made some huge plays for Buffalo this year. I'd definitely like to see him have a larger role in the offense. I mean, Emmanuel Sanders got hurt and basically disappeared halfway through the season and I feel like Davis made a case that he should be the #2 guy opposite Diggs on the outside next season.
  16. What an unbelievable game that was. I think Matthew Stafford just silenced all of his critics with that performance, especially that big throw to set up the FG.
  17. I feel for Stafford right now. The guy is playing as good as he's ever played and his team is just melting down around him
  18. Rams just gifted Tampa with some life again. And of course Kupp fumbles it just seconds after Al Michaels said it's looking like L.A. would be hosting the NFC Championship game next week
  19. Rams offense is playing so well in the first half, but that fumble by Akers is such a huge blow. Could have gone into the half up by 24. No lead is ever safe against Brady and I know he's done it before, but it's very rare to be able to come back from 20+ in a playoff game. All the pressure is on that Rams defense now.
  20. This is my long overdue Josh Allen appreciation/official crow eating post. I meant to do this during the playoffs last year but unfortunately never got around to it. Right after the 2018 draft, I compared him to former Bills draft busts J.P. Losman and E.J. Manuel. I had absolutely zero faith that he would develop into a Top 15 QB, let alone an MVP candidate. I thought Brandon Beane and Sean McDermott had made a mistake passing up on Josh Rosen and that Rosen was a far better prospect. I was sooooooooo wrong about all of this. Josh Allen has quickly developed into one of my favorite players of all-time to watch. His arm strength, his improved accuracy, his toughness, his athleticism, all of it. He's a special kind of athlete. And to think he's only in his fourth season, he can still get so much better, it's insane. Last season was a wild and magical ride and the highlight was watching this kid blossom into a franchise QB that Bills fans have waiting for since '96. And yet oddly enough, I'm way more satisfied with the way Allen completely dismantled New England's defense last week in the wild card game. Belichick had no answer for him. All the times I've seen the shoe on the other foot, when Brady would torch our secondary for 4 TDs on a routine basis... It's hard to comprehend that we finally have a QB that can inflict the same kind of pain on that franchise. That beatdown last Saturday was a culmination of so many years of frustration and heartbreak for this fanbase. Whatever happens today against Kansas City, the future is looking very bright in Buffalo again. This is my formal apology to Brandon Beane and Sean McDermott, who clearly made the right choice in trading up to draft him. It just goes to show you that a dope like me doesn't know anything when it comes to QB prospects. Now let's go Buffalo!!!
  21. I'm loving the new ESPN scorebug. I think it's a nice upgrade over the previous one (which I didn't mind at all).
  22. Does anybody know why FOX decided to bring back the MLB theme this season? I was so happy when I heard it on Saturday, but I'm just wondering why it took them 10 years to finally correct their horrendous mistake.
