  1. I kinda like this move. It reminds me of March Madness. I just hope the games are exciting.
  2. I know the Packers were missing a bunch of key players tonight, including Clay Matthews and Aaron Rodgers. But man, the Vikings look really good. They're going to be tough to beat whether they're playing indoors or on the road in January. Meanwhile in the AFC, it's looking like Baltimore has a wild card berth pretty much locked up at this point. It's going to come down to the Titans, Bills and Chargers for the last spot.
  3. One of my favorite sportscasters of all-time, RIP Dick. I would definitely put him in my all-time top five play-by-play announcers, in no particular order: Dick Enberg Pat Summerall Al Michaels Vin Scully Marv Albert
  4. Indianapolis vs. Baltimore Minnesota vs. Green Bay Atlanta vs. New Orleans LA Chargers vs. NY Jets Tampa Bay vs. Carolina Detroit vs. Cincinnati Miami vs. Kansas City Cleveland vs. Chicago Denver vs. Washington LA Rams vs. Tennessee Buffalo vs. New England Jacksonville vs. San Francisco Seattle vs. Dallas NY Giants vs. Arizona Pittsburgh vs. Houston Oakland vs. Philadelphia
  5. Whoa, Jerry Richardson is putting the Panthers up for sale. https://deadspin.com/jerry-richardson-will-sell-the-panthers-1821373080
  6. 7. I've been waiting for 16 years to see these unis make a comeback: Would love it if the Bills could wear these as a throwback in 2020 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their first Super Bowl appearance.
  8. "You are watching the NFL Network, your home for creepy analysts and convicted rapists since 2003!"
  9. The Dolphins should be able to beat the Bills next week, and again in Week 17. Buffalo's offense stinks right now.
  10. I may be alone, but I don't think the Eagles are finished. I think they'll be fine with Foles at the helm for the next 5-6 weeks. Reminds me of the '06 season where Donovan McNabb was having an MVP caliber season and then got hurt in late November, opening the door for Jeff Garcia to lead the team all the way to the Divisional round. It's very possible we could see a NFC Championship game featuring Nick Foles vs Case Keenum, which would be further proof that we're living in the upside-down.
  11. These are so much better than the Giants regular road uniforms. I love the way the blue just pops.
  12. Wow, this Rams-Eagles game is insane. Rams just scored two TDs to take a 28-24 lead. I hope these two teams meet again in the playoffs.
  13. This story has been blown way out of proportion. This is no different than hiring extras for a film/television set. They want both teams to be represented equally otherwise it would look weird if the TV viewers only saw Eagles fans behind the set at a Rams home game.
  14. I got nothing against Mariners fans. I'm happy to see Jerry Dipoto lose though.
  15. There's no question that the Angels have had nothing to show for all of their big free agent signings these last 7-8 years and have somehow managed to field a mediocre team year after year despite having the best player in baseball. But In all fairness, the Angels have finished 7th in average attendance in back-to-back seasons, and I think they've averaged at least 2 million fans per season for 15 seasons in a row. I wouldn't really call that second-rate. Also, they have something the Dodgers haven't had since the late 80's, and that would be a World Series title.
  16. Torii Hunter is the lone exception. You also forgot Vernon Wells and C.J. Wilson. I'm very excited about Ohtani coming to the Angels. With Upton re-signing and now this, it's been a pretty good offseason so far. It makes it even sweeter that they beat out the Dodgers and the Mariners to get him. Suck on that, Jerry Dipoto.
  17. New Orleans vs. Atlanta Chicago vs. Cincinnati Indianapolis vs. Buffalo Dallas vs. NY Giants Green Bay vs. Cleveland Detroit vs. Tampa Bay Minnesota vs. Carolina San Francisco vs. Houston Oakland vs. Kansas City Washington vs. LA Chargers Tennessee vs. Arizona NY Jets vs. Denver Philadelphia vs. LA Rams Seattle vs. Jacksonville Baltimore vs. Pittsburgh New England vs. Miami
  18. Anybody see that dirty hit Gronk laid on Bills rookie Tre'Davious White? He's looking at a possible suspension. We may have seen the last of Tyrod Taylor in a Bills uniform. He left the game with a knee injury and I'm sure McDermott is ready to start Peterman for the final four games
  19. "Don't get eliminated!" Man I used to love this show
  20. I'm sorry, but I'm loving the all-burgundy look. I know it's been synonymous with some embarrassing Redskins primetime losses in recent years, but I think they look great.
  21. Washington vs. Dallas Detroit vs. Baltimore New England vs. Buffalo San Francisco vs. Chicago Indianapolis vs. Jacksonville Denver vs. Miami Houston vs. Tennessee Kansas City vs. NY Jets Minnesota vs. Atlanta Tampa Bay vs. Green Bay Cleveland vs. LA Chargers LA Rams vs. Arizona NY Giants vs. Oakland Carolina vs. New Orleans Philadelphia vs. Seattle Pittsburgh vs. Cincinnati
  22. I absolutely HATE the Bills color rush unis. It gives me too much of a Boston Patriots throwback vibe. I'm not a fan of the blue-on-blue look either but I prefer that over this garbage money-grab known as "Color Rush". If the Dolphins logo rumors are legit, I will be very excited. I wouldn't mind it if they kept the 60s throwback look full-time and then brought these unis back as their road uniform:
  23. I don't get it. What's the point of being able to flex marquee matchups into the Sunday night slot if they never do it? NBC has flexed ZERO games so far this season. At this point it's pointless for them to even have the rule where they can starting flexing in Week 5 because they will never ever change a game that early in the season. I am honestly shocked that they're not putting the Eagles and Rams in a primetime slot. I'd even settle for the Vikings at Panthers. But nobody, and I mean nobody, wants to watch a boring Ravens-Steelers game that will surely be a blowout. Even Ravens fans are bored of watching Joe Flacco.
  24. There's no way Ben McAdoo survives beyond this season, so why would the front office allow him to make such a dumb move like this? Geno Smith isn't going to be their starting QB of the future. Their third-string rookie is nowhere near ready to play (see: Nathan Peterman). If anything, McAdoo should be the one getting the axe today. If I'm Jerry Reese, I let Eli finish out the season as the starter and then I evaluate what my next move is after Week 17, unless I get fired. Regardless of how poorly Eli's been playing lately, this is very disrespectful to a guy who has led them to two championships in the last decade. The next question is, where does Eli wind up beyond 2017? Does he go to Jacksonville and re-unite with Tom Coughlin? Will Arizona go after him if Carson Palmer decides to retire?
