  1. How about a metallic powder blue helmet?
  2. .....or maybe the Raiders are changing their shield logo when they move to Vegas?
  3. Any news re. this? In past years, we have had a pretty good idea what every team would be wearing...including nicknames on back of jerseys. All I can find is that the Yankees "might" be wearing black jerseys. Did I miss this announcement?
  4. It says in the article that they will have gold helmets? I thought they did away with those? Also, its probably only a matter of time before gray helmets appear!
  5. Ok If.....every NFL team was allowed 2 helmets, what would they choose? Here are my predictions. 6. I have seen a few (A's...Mariners) Dont they usually reveal all of them at the same time?
  7. I like it too. As a former Clevelander it has just enough of the traditional look. BringBackTheVet needs to relax.
  8. have the Browns ever ever worn mono-Orange?
  9. All teams, from pee-wee to the NFL, recondition their helmets on a yearly basis. Helmets are checked for damage in order to remove liability in the event an athlete suffers an injury the following season. They are repainted as well. There is nothing unusul about this. Period.
  10. they definitely changed the orange and added a textured pattern to the stripe. Just sayin..
  11. Browns are rumored to be changing to a white helmet.
  12. Well, thanks to bhutchcraft89 .... and according to the team color codes llisted above.... the question has ben answered. Dolphins, Broncos, and Bengals are all the same shade of orange. Bears, Browns, and Buccaneers are unique.
  13. Actually, pants today have integrated belts which are a part of the pant. But, you are correct....no more lace up flys.
  14. This is due out tomorrow morning and we don't any type of leak at all????
  15. Just modernize these into button downs. Keep the font. Put this "C" on the hat.
  16. According to Paul Hoynes of cleveland.com........ CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Indians will introduce a new “uniform option’ Monday as well as small enhancements to the existing uniforms for the 2019 season. The 2018 season marked the end of the team using Chief Wahoo as their main logo. The team will not be introducing a new logo to replace Chief Wahoo, but a shoulder patch representing the 2019 All-Star Game, which will be played at Progressive Field on July 9, is expected to be introduced. The Indians’ new look will be unveiled at 10 a.m. Monday at the team shop at Progressive Field. The Indians will continue to wear the block C on their caps in 2019. It was determined that 2018 would be the last year the Indians used Chief Wahoo as its logo through negotiations between MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred and team owner Paul Dolan. The Indians have worn some form of Chief Wahoo on their uniform since 1947, but it became a flashpoint for protests and lawsuits by Native American groups that considered it racist. The team has no plans to add a new logo to replace Chief Wahoo for 2019. They are still exploring possibilities for the future, but as of now there is no timetable to make such a decision. Block C and script Indians will serve as their logos for 2019.
  17. The "eye test" in the Cleveland metro area says they are a "RED" team. More fans in this color.. So what are the chances of the Indians returning to the "caveman" font and red jerseys of the mid 70's? If you ever go to a game at Progressive Field you will see an awful lot of those red jerseys in the stands. I believe you could give the font a modern "facelift" and it would be a hit in Cleveland. Maybe incorporate an arrowhead or a feather into the design.
  18. thank you. very interesting. So here's my follow up question.......why would a NFL franchise want to be so "indistinguishable" from another in it's color scheme? In the league....your brand is your money. Have any of these teams played each other in a game where they both wore the predominant "blue"? Seems like it would be a mess.
  19. can anybody put the TItans, Jaguars, Dolphins, Panthers, and Charger's blues side by side? for comparison?, Thanks.
