  1. I think if only one or two teams did it (BVB and Man City) it would be OK. But the fact that all of the club Puma teams are doing it is what the problem is. I don't mind it in a vacuum of a couple of teams taking it on. But Puma's entire roster??
  2. Maybe it’s because I got into football when these uniforms were around, but I like them.
  3. Well, at least the Colts could be looking at a Top 5 pick for a QB next year if this is a sign of things to come.
  4. Here is all Houston needs to do: - Switch to red jerseys as primary, paired with white pants and either blue or red socks. - Use the red pants they used to have on the road with blue socks - Make all navy their alt (can be the current or the CR) Considering how blue/dark color heavy the AFC south is, the Texans being red would definitely break up the Royal (Colts), Navy (Titans) & Black (Jags) that is primarily worn.
  5. Who would’ve thought it would be Oregon to do so?
  6. Same as Iowa States new numbers tho. Or at least similar
  7. I’ll admit that I too am a 24-going-on-25 year old Abe Simpson.
  8. I wouldn’t mind seeing a team like USF wear these, although I feel like they’ve worn a very similar helmet to this recently.
  9. One is usually on offense and the other on defense. That way neither player is on the field at the same time, which is why it was a thing.
  10. I remember in the early 2000s and maybe farther than that, but most clubs usually kept one kit from the year before and it was then held over as a third kit. That would be most ideal I think. If not the CPL should adopt the MLS model and cycle kits every other year.
  11. York 9 is a big improvement with the Phila Union center stripe. All the rest are good, Calvarys is giving me Trailblazer vibes with the sash
  12. So does this mean (save for Ottawa) that teams are holding over the away kits or are those being released later?
  13. So orange shorts right? Grey would look a little strange
  14. I heard some rumors about this, I figured they'd start in Fall 2020, but I suppose they have plenty of time.
  15. It’s like they said “referees are zebras? Nah, they’re tigers now.”
  16. So the XFL is also going the Starter route. I wonder if Nike, adidas and UA avoided them (& the AAF) because they think/know they might not be so successful?
  17. You think they would've done something along the lines of "prototype" jerseys that would have been unveiled until the real things came out. Ala the Nike/NFL deal, granted not all the teams then changed but they showcased something, even if it's like the AAF with dummy uniforms made by Starter.
  18. San Jose's new home kits have grown on me. There's just something about them that I like but I don't know what. Once/if the add a sponsor/advertiser it'll take some getting used to like them again though.
  19. I'd like to imagine if the Nets did follow through with this identity, and it lasted until the present day what the uniforms would look like. Would they have still gone black heavy w/a Brooklyn move? Would this be a throwback that the young players think is "fire"?
  20. The San Diego Padres need an alternate that says "Dads" or "Fathers" on it, since you know Padre is Spanish for Father/Dad
  21. One thing I was thinking about as I was looking through these, teams only have the CPL patch on the right arm, which has me thinking that they'll allow ads on the opposite arm as the season goes on. Also, these are my three favorites:
  22. So few notes: - CPL has only two teams with white kits, in contrast to nearly half of MLS teams. So the CPL is following the "traditional" model of both kits being different colors. - Same advertisers on 2 teams, which was expected with anew league. England's Championship has teams that have 32Red as an advertiser, so that isn't a huge issue. - Macron being York9's shirt ad is rough - Pacific FC & HFX Wanderers have the best looks in my book. Definitely going to buy one of those jerseys. Overall it's a pretty good looking league. Some classic style looks (Cavalry FC, Pacific & HFX) and some non-traditional looks (York9 white, Valour, Forge) will make for nice looking games.
  23. Can it be a Canadian league with out a team that wears red? Asking for a friend.
  24. Looks like a mix of traditional and some boundary pushing.
  25. What's the quality of Macron jerseys? There have been a few teams who have good designs under them and I was going to purchase one but wanted to know the quality of them before hand.
