Love the logo for Montreal, I think the sublimation in the stripes makes the whole look a bit too busy.

The Rangers remind me of the previous Twins set. I hated that set.

This drives me crazy about multiple sports teams. Your colors should occupy different parts of the luminance spectrum so that they properly contrast. A uniform should be readable first and foremost.

2024 International (National Team) Soccer Kits

Bomb Pop but it started melting. -
I mean, the team is nicknamed the Loons, but it is officially named Minnesota United. The star connection doesn't seem crazy when the state motto is Star of the North. There's at least some connective tissue, although I can understand the consistency argument. Could've done a loon wing constellation.

The smaller name is definitely harder to read. Not a fan at all, I think it looks terrible and cheap.

The 2.5 inch (maybe even 2 inch?) NOBs look super amateur and unbalanced with the numbers. All I can see is all the empty space left over.

I'd argue Gritty is Chaotic Neutral and the Phanatic is Chaotic Good.

It's nice to see the DC logo being used. Everything else, pass.

Imagine if a historical franchise like Montreal or something used the letter of the team name on their jersey.

Hi, would you like to talk about our Lord and Savior the Portland Airport carpet?

That logo always gives me strong Generic Create-A-Team vibes.

This really helped reconcile me to no green on the flag: The state name means water, we're known for our lakes and rivers, the Mississippi starts here: Minnesota is distinct because of its water, not its vegetation. I'm glad they went with a less is more approach. I agree that will help it age better, and I think in a few years it will be more widely and enthusiastically appreciated, especially once flags start popping up and people see them in the real world. Just look at the Twins; there was some criticism at first that the rebrand was overly simplistic, but a year later most people agree they look great.

Really hate perforated numbers.

What If Every MLB Team Kept Its Original Look? (Houston Colts 2/26)

Don't San Franciscans generally not like "San Fran"? And it feels odd to have a nickname on a classic look jersey.- 119 replies

First thought was Iowa City.

I've been really missing those UCLA stripes the past few months. Especially with the thick pant stripes it's a muscular look.

Hard miss.

I always liked the db snake head, wouldn't mind seeing that back.

PWHL Branding and Uniforms 2023-24

Not a high bar to clear, but I like my 2 hour late night idea better. -
I couldn't help thinking during the World Series that the Diamondbacks should flip the red and black on their wordmark and back numbers. It feels more southwestern to me.

I took the purple off their Threads icon but the it doesn't actually match the purple on their Instagram profile, which does have more red in it. Updated and agree it looks better. Good feedback on the stars for the pants, I didn't think of that. And a larger image of the logo:
