  1. Hi, It's been a while since I last posted a project here, but I finally had an idea to put into practice. I will be redesigning the Première ligue de soccer du Québec and it's twelve teams. The PLSQ is a semi professional soccer league that hosts teams from all over Québec. The league along with the provincial leagues of Ontario and BC are considered to be the third tier of Canadian Football. Since teams playing this level are very much grassroots, why not give them a redesign, eh? 22/09/23 - Logo updates and refresh
  2. Here are some more designs I had floating around, this time for fictional places and teams.
  3. Here are two more crests I found, this time for Cardiff AFC and VV Brabantia
  4. I rediscovered some various logo's I was working on so I figured why not share them here, most of them are fictional clubs that where supposed to be part of a larger series. So without further ado, here are the first entries. It's not exactly a fictional club but it has been defunct for about a century now. The perennial NESL title contenders, Rovers Football Club of Fall River, Massachusetts. Also known as the biggest small town club. I kept the green and white club colours and based the layout of the monogram on this league medal from 1890, and admittedly I also used the Rangers monogram somewhat as a reference point. The second club is Wrexham Town FC, the fictional counterpart of our world's Wrexham AFC, the Welsh fifth tier club that was recently acquired by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. This club however plays in the Welsh Premiership, a league that's close to the Scottish League in terms of overall quality. The design of the crest is based on the town's coat of arms.
  5. I'm having some trouble getting image links to work. For the moment all my images I've posted seem to disappear and reappear at random. I've tried switching to another image hosting site, but so far no link seems to be accepted, even from well know sites such as imgurl.
  6. Currently trying to start up a new concept. A re-imagined second American Soccer League. In real life it still is/was the longest running professional soccer league in the states. running from 1933 up to 1983. Since information is so sparse (The best source I found was Italian Wikipedia, yes really.) about the league, especially during it's early days this gives me more creative licence on how the teams could look, especially if you compare it to my other series, which was/is mostly just remaking crests. Most of the teams around this time where either named after companies that owned them or after regions where the team's founders where from. This is where I'm a bit stuck since I'm trying to avoid using the standard names for soccer clubs. A lot of teams just went with <insert city> Americans, and I sometimes can't come up with alternatives. Here are some examples: Uhrik Truckers/Philadelphia German-American -> For now I'm going with Philadelphia Field Club, but I'm not sure about it. Maybe I could try something that alludes to the club's German roots. The other Philly team are going to be called the Nationals or Pass On. Both really cool names. Cleveland Bruells/American Hungarians -> Not sure what to name them after. Maybe Cleveland Barons or Caps but besides that haven't got any idea. Kearny Scots-American -> This is the only New Jersey team for the moment, so I went with New Jersey Highlanders. NJ Thistles could maybe also be a realistic option.
  7. My favorite team is Club Brugge. My hometown team which I started watching since I was 6. Trough the years I've developed a soft spot for AFC Wimbledon tough.
