  1. The joke aside, that bear claw / Delicate Arch logo is beautiful! I think that's the perfect solution to promoting the Grizzlies name (which would be my first choice for this team) in a way that successfully avoids stepping on the Bruins' branding's toes. Would love to see a non-joke uniform set. Orange and gray could work, though I'm curious about other color schemes. Keeping green and copper would look good, or Utah Jazz Red Rocks colors would also be quite nice.
  2. Fauxback hat looks great; thanks for humoring me! I actually didn't mean modern BP tops, but they do look great! I was just suggesting trying out the fauxback and fauxback BP specifically to have a bigger "Boston" wordmark and smaller logo. Sorry to be confusing, but the results turned out nicely regardless : )
  3. Definitely an improvement by adding the more interesting sleeve striping. Love that fauxback vintage white uniform. Would be curious to see at least the BP jersey with a larger wordmark and smaller logo (a la '70s Blue Jays) and possibly a fauxback cap with the old version of the socks logo.
  4. Love the combination of the logo motif with the city flag! Exciting series idea; curious if we'll see a Jazz Festival design and what that could look like
  5. Love that Statue of Liberty Pedestal shape for the New York logo, but I'm not wild about the use of what appears to be Arial for New York's name and numbers. (You could go with Gotham; it's somewhat similar and feels more New York-y.) I like your logo for Montreal a lot (though it's kinda funny since "Torch" is the rumored name for Toronto, though it would fit better in Montreal...) I would just recommend moving the sleeve numbers to between the stripes, because right now the space between them feels empty on the away. Also funny because "Royals" feels much more like a Montreal name, and the fleur-de-lys you put on the crown are a bit confusing here, but it is a really pretty design. I would suggest making the "Royals" text on the logo black and the T below it blue to more closely depict the Toronto flag. Love the colors and logo for Boston, and the jersey font is really nice too! Ottawa's logo is also well-crafted with solid jersey designs. No changes needed : ) Not wild about the underarm design for Minnesota on the road; I think a thick purple stripe below the shoulder yoke (to make a ghosted sleeve length yoke) would help. You'd have to move the logo downward, but I think it's too high up anyways. Excellent work!
  6. Glad you like it; I'm proud of it myself. I wanted white breezers to look kinda like snow, but blue works too (though I think I have to switch the striping around a bit):
  7. Last, my personal favorite design of the bunch, it's Minnesota: The logo is basically my take on what the North Stars should look like if that brand existed today, but in purple and with a Lake Superior-shaped aurora design underneath. The jersey striping is also aurora-inspired and has an chevron element based on the new state flag. That's the PWHL; let me know if you have any suggestions on these six or for expansions or something. Thanks for checking out!
  8. The double-outlined phantom yoke and red-heavy striping give this a hint of a modernized barberpole aesthetic that's fun. I also appreciate that the color hierarchy's a bit clearer than in some of the historical black-heavy Carolina uniforms.
  9. Here's a team I had a bit of a hard time with, Boston: I've said before that @mcrosby's "New England Curse" design would make the best starting point for the Wicked name, but for variety's sake I tried something a bit different. I went with a cauldron roundel logo. The bubbling design is based on the patterns of brownstones (which I also put in the striping.) The alternate logo is a which head in the shape of Massachusetts.
  10. Ah, I see! Well, that tradition makes me curious to see if I could come up with a potential official name that could be shortened to "Fab" somehow... Glad you like the logo. I did have a previous version without the pattern, and I'm happy with it or without it: I just generally prefer to include these kinds of patterns (like that gorgeous San JoseĢ Sharks wavy striping pattern, or Vegas's floral pattern) to spice things up... But if you thought MontreĢal's was busy, I imagine you won't be a big fan of my take on the next team...
  11. Love the color balancing on the main Avalanche set with the burgundy pants. The pants stripes and primarily blue socks are wonderful, and I don't usually like silver for the Avs but it works here. I think this is the best solution I've seen for the current set. The only suggestion for I have would be to go with white sleeve numbers. Also curious to see the double blue set with a recolored logo, or burgundy trim instead of white/gray. Black feels out of place on the Devils away, but otherwise a solid, if-it-ain't-broke throwback set for them. Curious, did you adjust one of the O letters in "Toronto?"
  12. And then, Ottawa: This Alerts jersey is a modern update based on the original 1910s design. The primary logo is a goal light with the Parliament tower inside of it. The secondary logo is based on the Ottawa Nationals, much in the vein of this concept by Justin Brolley.
  13. Yeah, I don't think "Echo" is the greatest name ever but it's certainly among the top half of the rumored list. I figured my same design could also work with the name "Belles," though, as a bit of a bilingual pun. They're not affiliated with the Canadiens, though, right? So where does "Fabs" come from? The Adidas template is partially out of convenience (since I already have the template set up), and partially because the IRL PWHL jerseys seem to have that same weird collar pentagon thing. As for the Sound's striping, it's just based on the marquee of the Radio City Music Hall, which happens to have three stripes anyway. Not meant to be Adidas branding.
  14. And here's New York, with a Radio City Music Hall-inspired look:
  15. Next, we have Toronto. Of the bunch, I have the hardest time with the "Torch" name, so the best I can do for my sanity is to adapt it to "Torchbearers." As for the imagery, I just place the CN Tower in the flame and torch, in a logo loosely inspired by the .Seattle Riot ultimate Frisbee team... The jersey is Toronto flag inspired with its sleeve-length yoke, and has some subtle red-orange gradients, and an unorthodox helmet design.
  16. First up is MontreĢal. The best way I could think to capture the name "Echo" in a MontreĢal way was with cathedral bells. The M has a design based on the Notre-Dame Basilica of MontreĢal, and the bell has a narcissus flower (as a reference to the Greek myth.) The alternate logo is based on the city coat of arms, inspired by this Expos concept by @SFGiants58.
  17. So I know that people don't really like the rumored names for the PWHL, but I wanted to see how well I could do keeping them as they are. Also, since it's a six team league, I figure they can go color-vs-color, and each only have one jersey. MTL TOR NY OTT BOS MIN
  18. Super bored with Bay FC's IRL inaugural jerseys and branding, so I return briefly to this thread to post my quick edit: The IRL name doesn't flow well, but I think translating it into Spanish makes it work. The B doesn't really fit in the roundel that well IMO, so I switched to a full Golden Gate Bridge with fog above it. I can understand the club wanting something simple at home, but they went too simple, and didn't even include any of their team colors. Here I give them a simple vertical stripe treatment, with a little bit of a fog effect. On the away, it's a computer chip map of the Bay, with the crest over San JoseĢ, the team's current home.
  19. Hawks just trying to keep up with the Utah Jazz and Seattle Kraken for weird jersey leaks for other leagues, I guess!
  20. Potential Sounders and Whitecaps leaks... Bummed that the green looks basically the same for Seattle. Not totally sold on these pinstripes, either... It's totally fine on paper and I really appreciate that a storied team wants a more classic design, but I can't put my finger on why this particular jersey doesn't quite work for me. Same goes for that pinstriped LAFC leak also... They both just look off somehow. I really like the use of the original logo for Vancouver, though the rest of the design seems a bit too plain IMO.
  21. I'm mostly glad we didn't keep the red shoe-horned in, but I agree that the gold is still a big downgrade from the silver. Alongside the darkened and reduced use of blue, this scheme feels slightly uncomfortably LAFC-ish... Was kinda expecting that they would wait until the Sounders purchase went through, so that they could unify or at least refresh the branding all at once... Because it's hard to say whether the new ownership will stick with this logo/color scheme exactly as-is. But most importantly, it's just a huge relief that the team's proper name and logo elements are back! Also, curious if the Thorns will get any change now that they've sold... Personally, I hope all they do is return to red primaries and the full-color logo.
  22. Alleged LAFC third jersey leak... Love the Aztecs fauxback design! Reminds me a bit of @upperV03's excellent MLS Reverse Retro concept series.
  23. Dang, Carolina's travel schedule is gonna be rough The real Western teams might have to cede some home games to East Coast neutral sites just to even out the travel. Gotta expand either with one more team out east and go West/North/South, or with two more teams out west. I mean, do any of these teams have confirmed stadiums yet? And most of the names are states rather than cities so maybe they still will?
  24. Love that Atlanta one! Makes me want to see a whole blackletter-themed rebrand for them haha Eh, I guess the cream is a bit out of place for Milwaukee; I guess a cream Nike swoosh would help a bit but maybe not enough. Thanks for humoring me.
  25. All the new designs are great, just what I was hoping for! If you're hoping to avoid the Michigan-ness of the Brewers, you could have the M outline in cream instead of yellow and/or make the M taller and/or incorporate a wheat stalk like @sfgiants58 has done? Also can't tell from the image whether a solid counter-colored pocket would fit more than the outline version. Also that Angels picture you found is hilarious; I would not want to play baseball or even stretch in a heavy corduroy (or knit? I can't tell) sweater with a puffy hood! Makes for good inspiration though!
