  1. Thanks for trying that Nationals look. I think it works okay but I agree it's a bit off; certainly the outline helped make it a reasonable size on those 2005 jerseys but I dunno if it'd work here. Love the banner (and the return of the classic chest logo RIP) for Detroit, though it could stand to be a touch larger compared to the D. White Sox look great but your reference photo makes me wish for a sleeve patch for them. (And I guess also for the Browns-style Orioles!)
  2. Up the Bridges! Prineville has a good look, though the home jersey might be improved with some red diagonal pinstripes within the yellow hoops (and vice versa), and maybe red numbers at home too. Otherwise the set is really nice. No complaints for Hillsboro; the circuit-board pinstriping at home is inspired and gorgeously executed! I'd say Timbers 2 should take on the brand for their upcoming rebrand but maybe Hops colors are too Sounders-y for that
  3. Albuquerque looks good! Definitely an upgrade on the low-effort Rapids-knockoff crest the Sol currently have and the NM United crest. The old ball/Zia sun combo is excellent, as is the triangle-patterned border... but I think the overall logo has a touch of Inter Miami/Sounders syndrome where the stack of two major crest shapes is kinda odd. I would prefer to ditch the outer shape in favor of a diamond-shaped logo overall (a la HSV), maybe with the text running diagonally along the four sides. The jerseys are excellent, and NM United should totally adopt them as-is, but in the context of MLS maybe a bit more red or teal could differentiate them from the Crew. Excellent work!
  4. The Dynamo wore this double-orange (or possibly red & orange) third jersey in 2012: Wish they would go back to white shorts at home, personally... Also, someone on Reddit speculated that the Sounders' new advertisement in that Ruidíaz image looks like it could be CHI Franciscan, our current training top ad.
  5. No complaints for the NL East; solid looks all around. I almost feel like the beveled wordmark's W from 2005 would work well to emulate that Senators blackletter W...? Looking forward to the AL Central, if that's in the works!
  6. Your Kellogg set is the best yet! The chest numbers actually work quite well here IMO, and I really like the shoulder-length yoke striping. I feel like the gold & black stripes on the hem ought to be switched around on the home & away though; the order feels a bit off as-is. Also curious how the purple jersey would look with white in the place of black on the logo. Updates for the Panthers look good! I can see Coeur d'Alene now; could the logo's C be silver on blue backgrounds? Jerseys are otherwise solid.
  7. With their hooped jerseys, I hope they do a team wordmark like they've done historically! Either no sponsor or move the Puyallup Nation logo to the front of the shirt plz ☛☜
  8. I'm not a fan of purple & teal for the Ducks, but that Anaheim is one of the better era-combinations I've seen for them. Never would've guessed I'd like a purple & sand jersey for the Coyotes, but that looks really good. I'd be curious to see a different logo (that era's moon? the paw?) on the shoulder though... Solid looks for Boston and Buffalo too. A good start to the series and a nice introduction to the boards!
  9. That updated Vegas jersey is so gorgeous! Not necessary at all, but I'd be curious to see a version with the card suits instead of the "egas" and/or a version where there's a gold stripe on the right side of the V to match the striping. The way you have it, the red numbers feel out of place for the Kraken for both versions... You could make the S red, or the "SEATTLE" text red, or the numbers navy blue, and I think that'd help. Otherwise, a solid design that I'd be happy to see on the ice. I quite like the treatment of the Winter Classic wordmark in the logo. The font really conveys Pike Place well, and the tentacle & red puck are inspired. The render of the Space Needle is pretty nice too; I like the center line styling for the windows I do kinda wonder if it'd be possible to have the "Winter" script unitalicized just so the top of the T and the Space Needle could be integrated together, cuz right now they're a tad disjointed.
  10. The new Kraken look is excellent; the way the hem and collar match now is a nice little touch that goes a long way. The colors are quite nice this way too. Your updated starbursts and more circularly-arched text are huge improvements for Vegas! The floral V is a bit odd in gray and gold but it'd work well tonally... Or you could replace them with the rivets and/or beveling effect that the team sometimes uses on their logo!
  11. I don't know its cultural context either, but that aside, the triangle pattern you've used is gorgeous and looks great for the Sharks! Would love to see it in the primary set in place of the waves (let my Kraken use the waves instead ) I think your original phantom yoke is a bit better, but both look good. Good call to match the logos outlining together. Seeing the whole set together, it would be nice to see the nice updated fin logo as the crest for the alternate jersey.
  12. Ah well if it's Phoenix, that'd make the first one something other than Arizona as I'd assumed... Trying to think what else could come that early alphabetically! Albuquerque? Intrigued to find out! I quite like the shade of gold used for the Salt Lake away kit, and the blue home socks are really nice; you make a good case that the hooped socks suit RSL better than they did for Colorado! Really great idea to include the lightning bolts in the crest for Philly! If anything, I'd make them a bit more obvious! You could taper the outlines to a point at the shield's bottom even more, or you could replace that blue arc with a Chargers-style arc-shaped bolt! That away jersey is quite nice, and though the white shorts at home are kinda odd I think they work okay. I think navy/navy + gold socks is still my first choice though... Good work!
  13. Ontario vs Gilroy "BATTLE OF THE ALLIUMS" / "ATTACK OF THE AROMATICS" CCL matchup when??? All jokes aside, way to totally class up the silly MiLB food theme brands! Ontario looks great, and I love that Marion away jersey so much : ) Would maybe be nice to see matching cuffs & collars for Marion at home, but not necessary. Curious if the purple outline going beneath the white outline at the bottom of the logo is on purpose? It looks good! Thanks for the tasty designs!
  14. Can only see the logo slide for Coeur d'Alene; can't see anything else on your latest post. Nice simplified logo though!
  15. Yeah, I agree, not really any better or worse with that O. I'm not sure how far you're willing to stretch the time period, the style, or the quality of evidence, but here are some things from a short search... ANGELS All navy blue jacket from 1910s? Can't tell if it's a long sleeve in-game jersey, a practice jersey, or a jacket, but this navy blue top from 1911: http://home.myfairpoint.net/vintagecatcher/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/1911ABBOTT.jpg Not sure if it's a true recreation of a real life jacket or a fauxback, but Ebbets Field & Cooperstown made this '40s-style once: https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/vintage-1930s-1940s-los-angeles-487671281 Angels definitely wore this jacket in the '40s: Might just be a warmup jersey, 1950s: And an Ebbets Field recreation of a '43 (?) groundskeeper jacket PADRES Padres definitely wore a warmup jacket in 1948: Padres wearing two different styles in '41, one might be for warmup?
  16. Love the addition of an old-timey anchor for the Kraken! Part of me thinks that, the way you have it, it either should be a red shoulder patch (I guess the game patch would go on the stripes instead) OR the S logo should be blue so the two match better... but I do love the anchor in blue where it is. Any chance we could see this in white + double blue? The Knights jersey striping looks great, and the starburst on the pants is a nice touch! I like that you're going for that Minnesota Winter Classic look, but I'm not really feeling the crest/wordmark the way it's currently outlined. I'd want to shorten the V, put in gold with gray outline, and make everything else in un-outlined gray... And I'd consider arching the bottom text too. Anyways, good work!
  17. That Orioles jacket is really nice :D Don't know if it'd be a downgrade or not, but did you consider the 1901 Orioles O instead of the B? Also quite like the Cubs one; always a pleasure to see that logo. I think I'd rather see the Pirates in gray with black trim; it'd closer match that original inspiration. Any chance you'd do the Angels or Padres since they were around in the PCL in the '20s and '30s too?
  18. Doesn't look bad with the all-gold stripes, but I far prefer the gradient version... I was kinda just thinking you'd desaturate the yellow in the existing gradient-ed setup. Much better! That yellow and red only jersey is gorgeous! Works well with that roundel, too. No changes needed. Yeah, I did mean synergy with the Preds' yellow base, but I forgot that the Pirates used to wear red accents. Like @CDCLT suggests, you could go a whole set in primarily yellow/athletic gold & white, with red outlines/accents, and that'd work well! Maybe that way you could have one more traditional yellow alternate jersey and one modern yellow jersey with some more obvious stripes. I always hesitate to see the Portland Beavers brand promoted to MLB in concepts, since it's one thing for a minor league team to coexist with the Oregon State Beavers but it's another for a major league team. Anyways, disregarding that, it's a gorgeous recoloring that really feels apt for Portland; much more so than the old double-blue. Not to keep parroting @CDCLT , but they make a good point about using more green... And I feel the same way as they do about this roundel's contrast and as I did about Louisville's; it's doubly odd for it to use so much green when there's so little in the uniform. Anyways, congrats on the good work and Happy New Year!
  19. I think for CDA's blue jersey, the logo would be better with a blue base like on the white jersey. I know it'd sink into the background but the logo doesn't work with the highlights & shadows reversed like that. Not necessary, but the white jersey might look nice with white/blue/red striping below the yoke rather than just red/white. Regardless, a really solid set. No complaints about Bonners Ferry. Good work!
  20. A classy away jersey for Colorado! I'd be curious to see a home version of that jersey with powder blue/white/powder blue striping (it'd sorta mimic the state flag.) The home jersey is a bit underwhelming for my taste, since the pattern is too subtle and the color blocking is just templated. What about replacing the red with maroon? It'd be like the old Alouettes jersey and the NHL Wanderers & Maroons of old. Also might be nice to have more than three diagonal stripes on the home, and just continue the pattern throughout the shirt. Love that home jersey for Chicago! A really good way to get all the colors in. Would be cool to see that fire pattern tonally in the background at home and/or in more vibrant color (maybe red & yellow?) on the third.
  21. Nice work for Salem! And thanks for the Linn County and Portland updates; look much better to me. Hood River's away is really gorgeous! Not a huge fan of olive green, but you make it work well. Did the home originally have more green below the numbers? Maybe you could either continue it below, or you could have the green on top flair outward rather than inward (so it continues the front's striping.) Glad you're enjoying it, and kudos for the new job! Excited to see your work on the field; you've got the talent for it : D
  22. Expos look solid; no need to stray from their classic look. Aviators look really slick, especially with the front number. That alternate jersey is really gorgeous. Curious how the set would look with more of an old gold (a la Knights & Aces) than an athletic gold. Louisville looks nearly perfect; their set works so much more gorgeously in purple! I would say that the contrast is too low between the red text on the purple roundel, though. Certainly, this color scheme for Nashville is more interesting than their current red/blue. Good call to ditch the "NASH" jersey. Reviving their old pick logo like you've done is a good idea, but you should make the N bigger so it extends beyond the edges of the pick. Plus, I'm kinda missing the rest of their current logo suite. Would be fun to have non-tonal guitar strings on at least one jersey! Lastly, I'd appreciate seeing the set in primarily yellow for some city synergy and uniqueness in MLB... Anyways, excited to see the last team!
  23. Looks good, though I'm curious how the blue alt would look with black wordmark & white numbers... The whiteless black alt is really nice!
  24. I think the solution would be putting the Arch in white.
