  1. I like the dark pants. They wanted quirky retro, and they got it.
  2. Way to have your unveiling on the day all the ASU students are gonna be too high to notice or remember the unveiling.
  3. My guess is that the M hat will be for the road games primarily and the TC will be for home games. They might just be showing off all the new stuff in the first homestand so the fans know what everything looks like.
  4. Being from outstate, a lot of people like having M for Minnesota rather than TC for the Twin Cities. It's just a small preference thing I'm guessing
  5. Manfred... saved baseball? :censored:. I need to hate him
  6. Colorado to the B1G would revive their rivalry with Nebraska, so why the heck not?
  7. Being a Vikings fan makes me biased, but if you have purple in your color scheme, lean into it. It's a great, unique color that can set apart a brand. The Rockies brand rn is TOO plain. Plain isn't bad for a baseball team, but not leaning into purple is a goddamned crime
  8. Riley Cooper is a Bronco? EDIT: christ, that was 10 years ago. I'm only 22 and I feel old
  9. Coming from the midwest to Phoenix, the Cardinals brand doesn't seem that stron when compared to how other states treat their teams. growing up I saw Vikings stuff everywhere, even when I visited family in SD. Like the NFL and supporting some midwestern team (Packers, Chiefs, Bears) is just the default. Down here, no one cares about the Cardinals really. It's mostly apathy or just not caring about football at all. it's so diffeentirely. the cards can def afford toswitch it up. Almost no one down here will care, it might even draw more interest and make it feel more "authentically" Arizonan instead of the basic brand they have now that could be in any city. also, please fix thetyping on mobile,I feel like my flphone is having a seizure
  10. I go to ASU. We're way better at academics now than we used to be thanks to our president, but our standards aren't that high. Our charter literally says we measure ourselves by who we include and not who we exclude. As a future educator, I love that about us, but I've accepted that in the future I'm going to have to lean on my extracurriculars more than if I had just stayed home and gone to Minnesota when I apply to law school. I honestly think this would be a good opportunity to raise the status of smaller schools and give them a boost to attract the money and prestige that is needed to improve academics, because honestly, I can't justify excluding other schools from our conference when I run into the most brain dead trust fund frat boys imaginable on a daily basis.
  11. I hope the Twins never get an ad, but with our owners I know it'll happen. Target already sponsors the field, so idk who else in MN would be willing to bite. I just hope it's not an out of state company
  12. This thread is convincing me that the compass should be used on their hats full-time. Their S logo doesn't stand out, but the compass is a really strong mark. At least put it in the rotation
  13. I think the Mariners and Marlins have the best of the bunch, if only because they are clean and have better contrast than most if the other caps. I swear, most of these logos are illegible
  14. Attendance would improve in a better location because even if they don't get consistent Yankees and Redsox numbers, you're allowing more casual fans easier access to just randomly go downtown to burn a Sunday. Making your stadium a go to destination and expirience goes a long way to getting asses in seats
  15. 2 hours ago, YELDARBfield said: FWIW, I work for a Minor League team, and there was discussion about a team wanting to wear a grey throwback jersey at home. So it's at least now a rule in MiLB, so I would hope that would also apply to the Majors since they control the whole system now. I'm very pro-throwback, but a great road jersey at home is a no-go for me. What if the opponent doesnt have a colored top? Would they wear white? Obviously you can schedule around that, but still, this feels vile.
  16. As a Zoomer born after the Oilers move, I would love to see Houston get their colors back. It's like if Minnesota had an NFL team without purple and gold. We're still salty about losing the Northstars tothepoint that the reverse retros are the most popular wild thing I see so I totally get it. Bring back love ya blue
  17. B-e-a-u-ti-ful. Gosh, now I wish we did a white paneled cap full time. This uniform set is so good
  18. Ignorant zoomer here. Could someone give me a breakdown of what happened to the SWC?
  19. Because Soldier field low-key sucks and choosing a stadium that the team is actively trying leave would be a weird look. A more modern dome makes the most sense to me. Personally I love Lucas Oil stadium so I'm hoping it's held there
  20. Ugh https://twitter.com/GoJacksFB/status/1610649495347539968?t=W1SUXebnHXbYIVdnyIgxkQ&s=19
  21. [MOD EDIT: While I generally agree, let's not pile on.]
  22. I think stencil works for the Steelers and Pack since they've been using it for awhile and it fits into the blue collar origin of their names. I don't like the commies use of it, mainly because they are such a new identity and it just doesn't fit the brand
  23. Which I hate. Jacks gotta wear blue helmets or it's just weird. If we lose to NDSU after we won the marker this year, I'll blame the helmets in hopes it catches on and the team trashes them. This could have been an amazing uniform match up, but the damn helmets. Smh
  24. Does the Swedish guy I cannibalized count as a Viking?
