  1. The new Illinois helmets are going to bug the h*** out of me on Saturday when they're paired with jersey and pants that have no white whatsoever. I'd rather have them wear one of their old helmets to be honest lol.

To be honest, I’m looking forward to this change (if it truly is happening). The fanbase as it currently stands is a bit pretentious and it’s hard to root for the team as a result. With the new stadium opening and a new identity that embraces the city first and foremost, I might become a fan, and I assume this change is geared toward more casual viewers like me. I know it’s unique to the league, but I’m hoping for more palatable color scheme, as well.

As a Crew fan, I respectfully disagree. I think abandoning the "Crew" name would alienate more supporters than what it's worth, especially if there were color changes involved. It would be a major slap in the face to those who help keep the Crew in Columbus. I don't think any increase in casual fans would negate the loss of hardcore supporters.

The Patriots’ current uniforms are almost perfect. They just need to go silver pants at home instead of monochrome:

But since they insist on COLOR RUSH 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 , or maybe because Robert Kraft or someone in the organization has bad taste, they look incredibly dumb in their primary uniform.

So for now I will just sit back and enjoy the Patriots sucking at both football and aesthetics.

Am I the only one who thinks the shoulder stripes on the away jersey stick out like a sore thumb? It feels like the shoulder stripes on the away jersey was copy and pasted from another uniform.

  4. Speaking of Vegas, VGK is going with their grey helmets tonight with their regular home uniform. They had been wearing the obnoxious gold helmets. Fingers crossed they got the memo from viewers and fans!

  5. As a Crew fan, it's gonna be a long couple of years. Replacing the yellow kit with this is criminal. No better way to debut the new stadium by cosplaying as the away team...

  6. Probably an unpopular opinion, but here I go. When I first saw Nashville's reverse retro in November, I thought it looked good and was excited to see it hit the ice. Ever since I've seen the whole uniform in play, I've started to like it less and less. Their regular uniforms need to go, but I'm not sure the reverse retro is the solution.

    I hope so

Maybe it's just me, but it looks like the grey is a shade too dark. It may also be the adidas material messing with me. Lighting in this photo could be playing a role as well.

Wouldn't mind seeing this become the next home uniform for NSH, and the navy helmets HAVE to stay no matter what.

    Looks good to me

I just can't get onboard with abundance of white striping. The red logo on red jersey isn't a good look either, in my opinion. I feel a red jersey for CBJ has potential but this isn't it.

  9. Fully prepared to be blasted into the sun for this, but I wish Calgary had kept some black trim in their uniform. I get the whole nostalgia factor behind the retros. There were many valid criticisms of the previous uniforms, but I felt like black worked as a secondary/third color for them, and wasn't just BFBS.

I don't mind the home jerseys. They're not my favorite but there's nothing bad about them. The away jerseys actually bother me. I can't get past the waist striping on the away jerseys being different from the home. I feel like doing red/yellow/red would look good, but I admit I haven't seen it in a concept yet

  10. I really want to like these, but I just can't...

They literally took the away uniform and swapped the white for the gold (with the exception of the grey pants). The thick white stripes really take away from gold, and I think this problem will be amplified when watching on TV. Excluding black striping was a big mistake, in my opinion. This feels really half-a**ed, and is a disappointment.

Well since everyone is doing predictions of their favorite teams I might as well do one for the Seahawks

    vs CIN: Navy/Navy vs white/black

    @ PIT : white/grey vs black/yellow

    vs NO: Navy/Navy vs white/black

    @ ARI: white/navy vs red/white

    vs LAR: Navy/Navy vs white/Navy

    @ CLE: Navy/grey vs white/brown

    vs BAL: Navy/Navy vs white/purple

    @ ATL: white/Navy vs Red/white

    vs TB: Navy/Navy vs white/white

    @ SF: white/Navy vs Red/gold

    @ PHI: white/white vs green/white

    vs MIN: Navy/Navy vs white/purple

@ LAR: grey/grey vs color rush

    @ CAR: white/Navy vs black/black

    vs ARI: Navy/Navy vs white/white

vs SF: color rush vs white/gold

I wouldn't be surprised if the Seahawks wore their color rush against Minnesota or at LA. A all-lime green vs. all-yellow may be hard on the viewers if they were to wear them against the Rams lol.

I hope the Week 6 Saints game is considered late enough that they break out the teal for that one. I think that would actually go nicely with the Saints in white over black. Overall, this looks pretty spot-on though and is qutie similar to what they did last season. Could also maybe see them doing all teal for Week 3 on TNF.

I could see the possibility of all-teal for week 3 as well. Also, I hope to god the Saints wear the gold pants more often this year. The white over black is just okay in my opinion, but the black over black has to go ASAP.
