My biggest gripe with the new Sycamores logo is the angular simplification of the state outline.I suppose it reads a little cleaner when reproduced in a small format like a social media profile image, but it just looks too sharp and angular for what it's supposed to represent IMO.

Not 100% sure, but if you go to their website, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook it sure looks like it. It's just kind of weird that I can't find any acknowledgement at the athletics website, university website or in any general news articles of this change.

Forgive me if this has been discussed already/elsewhere, but it looks as though CSU Northridge is breaking in a new logo and wordmark: However I can't locate any news acknowledging this change/update. Does anyone have any more information about it?
