I agree but it's funny how in your pic Savage has almost entirely hidden his green socks, and Thielen has his knee exposed. Sock aesthetics are a complete mess these days
-
It's really incredible how the mentality of having either uniform ads or incessant commercials, but not both, has been collectively forgotten. People just accept both now and get really annoyed if you complain that things used to be better.

If you watched that Texas game and didn't get the impression they're one of the 25 best teams in the country I dunno what to tell ya

You mean like how the Oilers just did? also Multi-millionaires making another penny on the dollar ≠ 9-5 wageslave accepting a raise
-
Roger Goodell is the best Commissioner in the big four based solely on the fact that the NFL is the only league without ads on the uniforms

People feel bad/root for underdogs and underachievers. -
I never understood the adoration a lot of people have for this uniform. It's fine but nowhere near a classic imo
-
Congrats to the Gold on finally getting over the hump Also @WideRight I noticed in one of your recent entries you mentioned the Bills and Vikings winning Super Bowls. Do you have a full alt history of the SB or is it just something you throw in on occasion in your writeups?
-
They've been in 5 straight ALCS and won 3 pennants. There's no denying they're a very good team.

I prefer the Caps as a primarily red team This is the only uniform they've had that I would say I love. The rest are mostly passable, even the piping mess they won the Cup in

Here's your modern classic bro

Big improvement compared to their former unis. For such a moribund franchise, Atlanta has a great aesthetic. Wish I could see these on a real life field
-
How far are you taking the alt history? Present day? This rules. I love that Philly's kept the same logo, it's a classic

The reason they haven't introduced the pitch clock to the majors is because it would have immediately solved the pace of play problem and Manfred & co. would lose their boogeyman that they say is the reason for all of their other braindead stupid rule changes.

Sure -
The white elements were to ingratiate themselves with the old LA fanbase, and, then the rebrand was an attempt to make as much money as possible by chasing trends

Why not Whales plural? I always wondered why the Connecticut Whale did the same thing

They are the oldest franchise in the league, by a good margin. The team was established in 1898

I never understood the never-ending squabble about what is or isn't a sport. Who cares?
