The next set will be the Brooklyn Nets. New primary logo below.

That logo looks like something I would find on a random graphic shirt at Target or Dick's Sporting Goods, it doesn't really scream Nets to me.

I really don’t think you know anything about baseball aesthetics and are simply being a Nike Stan here.

What? Lmao if I like the jersey I'm gonna buy it I don't give a s**t if it's Nike or Adidas or some weird discolored chinese knockoff. If I have the money, and I like the jersey, I will buy it.

The Yankees simply aren't The Yankees when they don't look like the Yankees.

Can't wait till the day MLB becomes like the NBA and the Cubs are wearing their "home" pinstripes in Yankees Stadium against the Yankees who are wearing their black and volt "gotham nights" costume.

I agree, do they have a set date for that game yet?

Hi, young and relatively new fan here. I prefer home/road/1 alt, even if I'm ok with the road jersey being a color. When I watch a game, I want the teams to look like themselves! I want to be able to turn on the TV and instantly be able to tell what team is playing. The Red Sox in blue and yellow is the opposite of this. All these jerseys do is give Nike more crap to sell.

I'd prefer more like home/road(at least with a lighter grey than what most teams use currently)/alt1/alt2, and maybe a one-off here and there. I agree that they did not do Boston well but I think that it's better than some of the other one-off jerseys (maybe even some current roads and alts imo).

Show me the research that says one off uniforms are bringing in new fans to the sport as opposed to generating a one time sale of a consumer item.

It's not one-off uniforms I'm talking about. If you have a white home, a grey away, and a random alt on fridays or whatever, they don't attract fans. I know plenty of casual (and hardcore) fans who just like the team because they liked the colors (keyword: colors) on the jersey.

All of those events and a massive array of horrible alternates have completely destroyed the visual identity of mlb. Teams need to go back to the mid 90's where you got white/gray/alt and 2 hats tops. That's professional baseball.

No, that's boring. You will never, and I mean NEVER, attract young and new fans with that mindset. If you keep thinking like that before you know it all baseball fans will be senile and in their 80's.

People said this same exact thing after the Players Weekend uniforms were first announced. "It's only one series!" So what's next?

Do you really believe the Red Sox will change their colors over this? No?

You all need to face the fact that a few good looking jerseys and a few awful ones will not change an already well established brand identity. These will not become primary jerseys, and if they do, it will not be the end of all sports.

  8. I don't know why everyone is freaking out. I like them. They have significance because of the flag and the marathon's finish line, and in my opinion, I think they look nice with the colors. I'll probably still buy it because I like it but you all are entitled to your own opinion.

I just hope they don't :censored: up the Nats one in a few years with the "DC is only the capital and nothing else" bs.

The Washington Wizards need to fully embrace their identity. This redesign has shifted their color scheme. The Wizard's colors now consist of Cherry Blossom Pink, Potomac River Blue, and Monument Grey. The primary uni's feature an American flag design on the side panels. The statement edition features the Washington Monument on the sides as the gradient fades into the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. The showtime edition is inspired by Washington DC's flag. The Community Edition would be a series revolving around different national heroes. The first edition honors the Tuskegee Airmen, who were a squad of African American pilots during World War II. These men were extremely under-appreciated at the time and faced harsh racial discrimination despite their service. C+C always appreciated.

The community edition really doesn't speak DC to me. I get what you're trying to do with national heroes because DC is the capital and all that but that kind of pushes the perpetual stereotype that DC is only the capital and nothing else. There is plenty of DC things your can put in that community edition because right now it feels more like a "national edition" than anything else. There's always the Pan-African colors to celebrate the African culture in DC, there's Chicken Wings with Mumbo Sauce, a meal you can only get in the district at Chinese carryouts, the Metro, maybe green to represent the mall, and of course, there's Go-Go Music. I like your airmen jersey, don't get me wrong, but there is just more to DC than just it being the capital of the country.

I’d go for navy numbers on the white jersey of the last set. White on white would look pretty bad.

    Done, whatcha think?

I also made a Space Shuttle uniform, one with a NASA patch, and two with Columbia and Challenger patches, each to be worn in April during the dates of their first missions (the missions they both were destroyed in took place in February)

    NASA Patch

    Challenger Patch

    Columbia Patch

    C&C welcome!

I'm curious to see how the surrounding cities and counties in VA and the counties in MD would look in this format.

Here's what I tried with MoCo.

How about the Astros’ 1994-99 set in their classic navy and orange?

Got around to doing that. I also wanted to experiment with a green and orange alternate. Any more suggestions?

    c&c appreciated!

I like the incorporation of the geographical shape. But I think there should be an outline in the line colour around the entirety of the shape.

Also, there is no need for the line's colour name, given that the colour itself is so prominent.

If the line's name is included as a form of accommodation to colour blind people, then that word should be much smaller than the station's name.

Here's one based off of your criticisms, I'm not a huge fan myself, but let me know what you guys think!
