A better solution would be a better/more memorable and distinctive logo, one that clearly conveys the hometown. (Easier said than done, I know.)

Would be a hell of a lot better without the SC at the bottom however. Just clutters it up.

Hard to imagine a pro baseball team in Kansas, save for the western suburbs of KC. That reminds me, how is Wichita's minor league doing these days? Still miss the Baby Cakes (Zephyrs too)

Please give the Kraken some sort of tribute or throwback to the Metropolitans.

Making New Courts For Every NBA Team (UPDATE: 2023-2024)
harney replied to pelicanfan's topic in Concepts
Love the colors, and love the grain of the wood matching the Jazz logo, although the fact it doesn't match the angle in the All Star Game logo is mildly infuriating. I would leave out the "Welcome to". Also maybe try out another mountain silhouette at center court instead of the snowflake. I think that would look a bit nicer. Not sure if this is NBA-legal, but it would be interesting to see a few of the peaks along the court extend into the playing area. Would likely need to be faded out or use yellow instead of white for the boundary of the court.- 121 replies

Green and white stripes... That's my kind of jersey

Sorry, I'm not too well versed in Oregon history, however from a quick Google search https://www.oregonencyclopedia.org/articles/burns/ This encyclopedia website may be a great source. I know there is a similar state-wide encyclopedia for Georgia that has lots of interesting and detailed information, including some anecdotal bits of history great for basing a team identity off of. Seems like there is an annual Migratory Bird Festival, maybe that can be a start.

Ah **** You're right

UNLV would work too, imagine the home field advantage...

Can add Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets for NCAA and Galatasaray for soccer. Also toss in USMNT and USWNT.

Excited for Harney County's entry!

Poor guy is the only rugby fan here.

It's just stupid to bust out the trick plays in the first game of the year with the lead against a nothingburger opponent. Anytime I see a fake punt or some shenanigans in Week 1 I think this. Don't show 'em your cards!

I doubt it. Most of the schools are not up for the challenge. The Celebration Bowl will also play a factor. Maybe something like the top schools of the SWAC and MEAC team up, hop to FBS, and take the Celebration Bowl with them? The Jackson States can shake the Coppin States. Activate the money printer.

Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta United. Tennessee Titans and Indianapolis Colts as backup. Vanderbilt Commodores. Celtic F.C., Manchester United. Hendrick, Mercedes, AlphaTauri, Porsche.

I think he'd rather have won against Brighton or Brentford. Save some of the humiliation.

Some have posed that the Trackhouse 91 is actually for KFB, and the whole charade of the international stars was just to cover up the big plans. There's also rumors of going to RCR and letting Tyler Reddick walk to 23XI a year early. It still looks like Kaulig is plan A, but that begs the question: What happens to KBM? It's Toyota's huge pipeline, does that whole structure jump to Chevy? In that case then some other teams will leap the other way to fill the gap.

I don't care for lacrosse. Feels like it's just the scrubs who couldn't hack it on the gridiron.

Reminds me of this

Never realized the Sounders had never missed the playoffs. That's pretty impressive to have 25+ years of sustained success. And I'm pretty sure the CCL win counts as success too.

Didn't see a thread for Formula 1. To any non-fans, this year reigning champ Max Verstappen is doing quite well again in his Red Bull car. Ferrari has a quick car too but can't seem to finish a race. The big news today is that Sebastian Vettel has announced his retirement from the sport. Four-time world champion, one of the greats. Scrappy underdog at Toro Rosso, dominant at Red Bull, then a rough few years with Ferrari and Aston Martin.
