    One other thing I've noticed is that the Cardinals are also wearing new practice jerseys - White with Black numbers for the offense, Gray with Black numbers for the defense, and Black with White numbers for QBs. No Red. They actually wore these for the week of the Color Rush game last season as well.

    Essentially, the Black alt helmets were introduced a year early; the intention was to unveil new uniforms for 2022, but supply chain issues delayed it to this season. The Black helmets for 2023 are exactly what they were in 2022, just paired with new uniforms. We didn't know it at the time, but the 3-D logo and the metallic flake shell was a preview as to what was to come with the new White helmets.

    I saw the helmet without the facemask. More than one source (including the Redditor) described the face masks as Metallic Silver.

    I appreciate the defense here…again, I said all along that I wasn’t sure I could believe what I was being told. But, what needs to be understood is the level of detail I was getting, along with the some of the personal info being exchanged made me take the guy seriously. But, I always took it with a grain of salt. Too many members here took bits of information I put out there and let their imaginations run wild as well. I couldn’t believe some of the leaps some people took. The design that was described to me definitely sounded like a Nike design. It absolutely sounds like something that was probably proposed. He even had a Nike media release with language that I don’t believe he could have made up on his own. And as a side note - he didn’t provide me with “hex codes”…he provided Pantone values - BIG difference - legitimate values as well. Completely believable on a production-level scale. I will post these fake/proposed colors on my site when I can get my site updated.

    I will go into more detail later (on vacation right now), but the rumored colors I heard were going to happen were: Grand Red (209) Desert Gloaming (158) Desert Cardinal Gray (421) Desert Night (Black) Flagstaff Snow White (White) Gradient pants, lots of other crazy details.

    Not since he said that the social media reveal was to be on Monday - which it obviously wasn’t.

    Ha! That’s nice for you to say. I am prepared to apologize to all of you if the teasers I have been dropping are all lies. (I will fully divulge what I thought they were if they are untrue.)

    And no…I have NOT been dropping hints about the identity (with the hikes today)…for the record, I’m really wondering if the rumors I’ve heard are indeed true. I will be fine if they are not. I think I know what the helmet looks like, but the rumored colors don’t seem to fit with what I know re: the helmet.

    I will be in Prescott (our future hometown) on Thursday evening…will have driven through Phoenix from Tucson tomorrow…will just miss the event. (I never scored a pass for it anyway.)

    I’m also in Tucson right now…just finished a hike at Saguaro National Forest…saw a road runner, a rattlesnake, and a bunch of larger-than-usual lizards, but no hints on Cardinals uniforms.

    Don’t know anything re: the Lions, and I just got an updated Panthers sheet that doesn’t show any changes other than a new set of Blue pants.

    I agree that I am putting a lot of faith into what has been told to me. However, this Reddit user and I have had a lot of conversations about these in detail, and some of the info he has provided does sound very much legit. It all feels like something Nike would do, and he has also given me some information on some other things that have also turned out to be true. It’s either all legit, or a giant smokescreen. I’m banking on the former, but am also not really concerned about my “legacy” or some other kind of crap. I don’t really care. As I’ve said, I’m just anxious to see all of this as much (or more) as the rest of you. I’ve been a fan of this team for 54 years now.

    You’d never guess what the Orange will be called…I had to look it up in the dictionary to figure out what it is

    It’s not metallic, and it’s really not copper. If everything that’s been described to me is true, then we will be getting a unique color palette in sports. There’s really not much Black any longer, and Yellow will only be present in the helmet logo (as before).

    Again I was told today, but I’m getting nervous if it is actually happening today or not. I accept responsibility if it doesn’t happen today…

    For the Cardinals, I heard that there is going to be a social media reveal today, and then the players will model them on Thursday.

    One of the guys on the ASFN board I’m on has said that the new Cardinals’ uniforms have demanded a trade.
