  1. I'm still hearing the 17th.
  2. Let me also mention that PANTONE Process Blue has been the designated spot ink for the Panthers for their entire history. This "change" only has to do with how Nike has been mismatching it.
  3. It's not a custom color. It's a base ink in the Pantone library.
  4. Both the wishbone 'C' and the bear head are considered their primary mark. Either/or. Since 2011, according to my official logosheets.
  5. I'm still trying to get to the bottom of that as well. I've got someone who is trying to get me an official pass to the event, and I'd like to get it set. Besides that, I'm about to lose my mind having to wait to see these things.
  6. All I will say about the helmet (yes, I have a picture that I have promised NOT to share), is that when you see it, you'll think "of course...it all makes sense now". I think. I will also say is that from what I know of the uniforms that the helmets do tie into the uniforms, but I have a number of questions about that...the things I'm hearing don't all make sense to me.
  7. The White helmets ARE changing, and the Gray face masks are also going away. 100%.
  8. Here's the textile color Nike was SUPPOSED to match to:
  9. Haven't heard anything that you all don't already know.
  10. It's darker than 151 C...not currently used in the NFL. Why are you calling those colors "unused"? They are both present in the Rams' logos.
  11. He's trying to find out, but can't get anything yet. He also mentioned another alt helmet coming which I hadn't heard of.
  12. One of the reasons I'm trusting this Reddit user is the level of detail he's providing. And, he's not really a uniform aficionado per se. He also described the helmet down to the letter from the other sources I've seen and heard about. He is the one who gave me the Pantone values - he read them right off of the press release he apparently has in his possession. I'm not even sure he has all that much Pantone knowledge to make them up. The colors he provided make sense as far as what I can expect from Nike and overall general uniform manufacturing. The individual color choices seem reasonable from a production standpoint. Nothing too out of the ordinary; tried and tested colors. Just a very different combination than we're used to for the Cardinals, or any NFL team to be honest. It probably is all true, but I still can't believe it's happening. Could be the most radical change we've seen. Traditionalists are gonna HATE this! However, I am keeping a somewhat open mind. I'd like to see how it all comes together. If I'm wrong about any of it, I'll be back to take my public flogging.
  13. My old SSUR site never broke nothin'.
  14. Ironically, I will be in Tucson as well. Long story, but a lot of my family will be there. I'm trying to get a press pass for the reveal. We'll see. (We're moving to Prescott in the fall.)
  15. When the Cardinals unveiled their new uniforms way back in 2005, this forum broke the internet. It was crazy.
  16. 4 new jerseys and 3 new sets of pants from what I've heard.
  17. I saw a close up photo of the helmet in the Riddell factory.
  18. For the record, I'm still hoping that this is all a smokescreen, and the real uniforms will be a modern/traditional hybrid of some kind.
  19. I was just saying to my wife that if they go through with this, it will probably be in conjunction with stadium renovations...everything there is Red, Black, Yellow and Gray...
  20. I have the alleged Pantone values. It's not "terrible lighting".
  21. Black is still present...just not very much of it apparently.
