My collection of jerseys is extensive...and I'll leave it at that.

Absolute die-hard Revolution, Sox and Pats fan...I can talk about either of the teams for hours.

I'm a pretty friendly guy, and if you would like to PM me to discuss any Revs, Pats, Sox, B's or politics (I have my BA in Poli Sci), or to talk about how much the Yankees suck, feel free!

This board was created with me in mind - thank you Chris!

  1. Sorry if it's already been asked, but looking at the buying options on Fanatics, and there's two options: Limited and Legends models. What's difference (aside from the screen printing)?
  2. You beat me to it. The switch from red numbers in '93 to white numbers in '94 was due to a lot of complaints about the visibility of said numbers. After the '94 season, the entire jersey was revamped at the request of the Krafts, who petitioned for the change shortly after assuming ownership in early-1994. The design itself was finalized in August '94, and approved for the '95 season shortly thereafter. The look lasted five years (the flip-flop of the logos and TV numbers actually occured at the same time) before they went to navy in 2000. My take on the Browns jersey set from yesterday's game vs. Jets: visually speaking, it didn't look like the Jets were playing another team from the NFL. And that's all I have to say about that.
  3. That template reminds me of the one used by Western Mass Pro Soccer....
  4. You beat me to it. I actually own one of these Revs warmups, and damn, do they run on the long side. I typically wear mediums when it comes to adidas and Nike N98 track tops, and the bottom hem on this one runs almost halfway down my thighs. Rest fits perfect. Anyway, yeah, leave it adidas to say "eh, let's just go with what we're doing with our soccer warmups."
  5. What's the story behind the number design? I kinda like them...
  6. BigDmo, I tried to send you a PM to this effect - what are the prices like on the '94 Ducks jerseys around your area? I'm on the East Coast, so the only option available to me is fanatics.com, and the jersey on that site is $150. If there's any in the $90-$110 range near you, please let me know via PM. Same prices here, unfortunately Nike doesn't do us all a solid and hook us up for cheaper. It's $150 in all stores here. I feel you though, I can't justify spending $150 on a jersey, I'm spending $120 on two tickets just to go to the game and sit 22 rows up from the field, doesn't seem justified. That being said I'll be on the lookout, the best I could probably do is if there was any coupons for Dick's or something where they knock off 20% for a purchase over $100, I know they do this occasionally I appreciate it - thanks!
  7. Jamestown Jammers circa mid-90s. They switched their logo to a grape in the 2000s, IIRC. Sadly, they'll be relocating to WV next year.

  9. My wallet just cringed...gonna have to pick this one up if a replica version is released.
  10. I noticed the same. The Boston uniforms looked baggier, like many HS uniforms. Definitely didn't have "BOSTON" on them either, which was odd given that the Mammoths had "OMAHA" on theirs. That said, if the Brawlers' home unis look a little more professional, and they happen to add "BOSTON" to it, then I might actually be inclined to purchase one.
  11. I apologize if this is wrong place to ask, but could anyone enlighten me on the name of the font that Southern Cal uses for its numbers?
  12. 1994 Patriots home and away jerseys. Favorite jerseys of all-time.
  13. This came to mind when I saw the the midfield logo in the Eric Metcalf video...
  14. ...these may actually work Love them. I'd actually be tempted to buy one if the sleeves on UA replica football jersey weren't obnoxiously long.
  15. Not sure if this is the place to post it, but New Era's throwing back to '93 with this collection of caps... http://www.lids.com/New-Era/Style_MLB-1993-Collection-59FIFTY-Cap
