Assuming they get Sunday Ticket, it won't come without a significant bump in subscription price. Business doesn't work that way.
-
You forgot the Bronze Fonz. I'm kidding - they better not do it. I'd love a Harley tie-in, but that is unlikely. Calatrava would be a cool base. I'll be that @NicDB has it right and it's the People's Flag.

Sorry, I meant confirm that it was in Canton due to stadium issues (not because someone thought it was a good idea).
-
I thought the playoffs had to be in Canton because the stadium wasn't available. Can anyone confirm that (too lazy to google).
-
Agreed. Do you replace part of it with white so that it becomes another arch shape, or do something else with it? Edit - how about a white circle in the middle with a player number in silver (if that's legible)?
-
The white on the Stars' helmet is essentially invisible.

As long as those markets care. I understand that this is a money-saver, but is it a fan builder?
-
I get that having umps announce challenge reviews sounded like a good idea. But if all they are saying is 'the call stands' or 'the call is overturned', it really isn't useful. Has anyone heard any more than that in a game you've watched?

Best helmet in college football?

That shell color is bbland. Give me an old gold, not this. -
Just a thought--without black, those colors call to mind the Racine Threat more than the Racine Raiders.

Is it just me, or does damn near every event in a Cubs' radio broadcast have a sponsor?

Tampa Bay Buccaneers New Primary Logo [8/? Finished]
Sec19Row53 replied to DCarp1231's topic in Concepts
You seem to be doing change for the sake of change. Pass. Neither of these are better than the existing logo. You're changing a logo in the shape of a football into one in the shape of a baseball or basketball. Why does anyone think that works? -
Not worthy of its own thread, but a neat article on the Packers' seamstress retiring. Cool anecdotes about things only we would love (presumably). https://www.packers.com/news/stories-from-the-packers-seamstress-marge-switzer-retires-after-27-years?campaign=email_220311

I'll take that bet.

Do you understand how advertising works? I mean, if you are seriously making that statement, you don't. I'm not trying to bag on you, but this is a case where the focus of this particular part of the internet needs to look at the reality of the real world. The characteristic of the people here is that we would like our uniforms to be ad free. But to state that an ad would be ok if they're in team colors and small is out of line with reality, except if it happens by chance in terms of color (such as if IBM were to advertise on the Indianapolis Colts uniforms). As stated by Mike Florio, remember when everyone was outraged at sponsored stadium names? I'm not FOR ads, but this too shall pass.

I don't see the outline as necessary. Other than that, I like what you did.

I'm sorry. I thought Gruden sucked. Everything was 'this is a guy who's great'. Nothing was ever bad.

According to anonymous sources by mouthpiece Schefter. Anonymous sources are BS in this case.

Speculating on speculation. Kyle Murray removed references to the Cardinals on his social media and someone thought that might mean new uniforms. Easier pathway is that he isn't happy with the team.

Color vs color games that people have forgotten
Sec19Row53 replied to MJWalker45's topic in Sports Logo General Discussion
I'd say that is true of this entire thread. Some of us have forgotten some of these. All of us haven't forgotten all of these. -
NHL Anti-Thread: Bad Business Decision Aggregator
Sec19Row53 replied to The_Admiral's topic in Sports In General
I understand and don't disagree with the speculation, but has that been proven anywhere? Because on the flip side, a good TV draw has to draw beyond its own market. If the NHL isn't a good TV draw, then the markets are immaterial.
