  1. The reds are way better then the gold. They should be the permanent alt. By the way, are those signs on the glass allowed to be there during the game or does someone have to take them down after warm-ups?
  2. Does this help you visualize it?
  3. They look like their laundry guy doesn't separate the whites from the colors.
  4. The scorebug ESPN is using for the College Football Playoff games is annoying me. They're using a gold box for the down & distance, and every time I catch it out of the corner of my eye I think there is a flag on the play.
  5. Todd McFarlane. Seth MacFarlane is the "Family Guy" guy.
  6. If they're gonna do that they ought to use era-appropriate colors, logos and Cup images for the '30s banners.
  7. I think the point was he never wore that design when the Bulls had it originally (Jordan did), but he did wear the throwback version.
  8. I wasn't comparing Bourque to Kawhi at all. I was just pointing out an example of how someone could win a championship in a 'wrong' uniform.
  9. This looks like it was drawn by someone who has read about birds but never actually seen one.
  10. Exactly. The Colorado Avalanche is obviously the wrong uniform for Ray Bourque, even though he won The Cup there. He played (playoffs included) almost 1,700 games as a Bruin, and about 125 games with the Avs. If he would have won the Conn Smythe as well, does that suddenly make it the right uniform for him?
  11. How so? There are 8 other players who played more games for the Caps than Laich.
  12. He played for the Bills for 9 years, including leading them to the biggest comeback in playoff history. How is that not a right uniform for him?
  13. Long time Bills backup (and current Colts head coach) Frank Reich with the expansion Carolina Panthers: With the New York Jets: And with the Detroit Lions:
  14. That's the original owner of the Sharks George Gund.
  15. Correct. The following year (1981) they switched to the striped helmets.
  16. Red Wings Hall of Famer Ted Lindsay as a Chicago Black Hawk. Red Wings GM Jack Adams, angered that Lindsay was attempting to start a players' union, traded Lindsay to last place Chicago.
  17. Linebacker Darryl Talley was a regular for the Bills during the Superbowl years. His rookie year was 1983, the year before the Bills switched to the red helmets.
  18. I wouldn't go to the men's room during the game. There might be a tiger in there.
  19. Bills special teams great Steve Tasker was drafted by Houston and played 7 games as an Oiler.
  20. Recently retired Rick Nash finished last season as a member of the Boston Bruins
  21. Here's a couple other wrong uniforms for Steve Christie, with the Chargers and Giants.: And here's one a lot of people probably don't know about. After his NFL career ended, Christie played one game for the CFL's Toronto Argonauts.
  22. I think the biggest difference is that the 1980 set had TV numbers and the set that preceded them didn't. Also black facemasks. The older set had grey facemasks. http://nflfootballjournal.blogspot.com/2016/10/cincinnati-bengals-last-team-to-add-tv.html
