OK... that Maryland throwback-ish look is growing on me. I like the helmet script, and the cheesy triple sleeve stripe. But I don't think I can live with the fake perforations on the numbers, or the lack of gold on the helmet and pants. Here's my fix...

Harbaugh is a piece of crap. You want to break some rules I guess you can just do it. But after years of his holier than thou act, and all the Michigan “we would never sink that low” BS it’s just beautiful to watch their hypocritical butts get pulled out into the light.

Watching last years game between tOSU and those skunkweasles, I said to a friend of mine that it looked like the were absolutely ready every time Ohio State blitzed, with a pass over the top. Turns out the low down cheaters were stealing the signs. Also explains why they got their stupid butts kicked by TCU. They never saw them coming, so they hadn't sent their spies in to cheat. I understand why Bucs fans might not be crazy about the idea of full time return to the bright orange, but am I the only one that has kind of soured on the current version of the pewter/red uniform? I dunno, back in the early 2000's Tampa's original go-round with this look was IMO about as perfect as an NFL uniform gets, but the new version is just kind... meh. I'm not entirely sure why, but Nike's absolutely terrible version of the pewter pants has a lot to do with it, I think. The dark charcoal looks bad with the red jersey, but red over white is just bland. And the terminator skull will always be vastly inferior to the original pirate scrawled version of the logo. Like the rest of us, when they dumped the alarm clock numbers and the mess that went with them for this "return" uniform, I was pretty pumped, but as time as gone by with it, I'm getting pretty underwhelmed. Nike's inability to get certain colors right can definitely cause issues.

Those Bronco helmets weren't royal blue and would've been just as big of a mismatch with the Giants' jerseys as the navy blue was. Maybe more.

I think the whole conversation is dumb. If you just want the team with the best record to be named champs, just cancel the playoffs and crown the regular season leader and be done with it. The entire point of a playoff is to settle it head to head. And if a team loses, then obvious they didn’t do what they needed to do. Stop crying and play better next time.

Or… hear me out… the higher seed can play better and win their games. You know, maybe use their rested pitching staff and home field advantage. Just a thought.

New York sports fans seem to think every sport is dying if it doesn’t include at least one team from NY. Personally I really don’t get invested until the New York and LA teams get bounced. Then I can start watching.

Buy the way, if you gave me the choice between switching the Cowboys to navy blue and sliver across the board or leaving them with the mismatched color mess they currently are, I'd choose mismatched in a heartbeat. You wouldn't even need to finish the question. Navy and silver is so boring and base-level wrong for the Cowboys. The current white uniform template recolored to navy and silver just might be the most nauseatingly bland uniform I could even conceive of. The Cowboys obviously do need to streamline their colors, but it isn't in the direction of the boring navy/silver... Now that is a beautiful uniform.

If the 49ers actually followed the Cowboys' plan...

I've gone back and forth in my head as to who has the worst current uniforms, top to bottom, in the NFL... Washington or Tennessee. Sitting here watching these horrific Commie outfits, and I think seeing Chase Young's giant head with that silly little "W" stuck on his forehead... my goodness. OK, Washington, you win. What a nightmare.

Well, there really isn’t anything to take a shot at him about. You used an old and outdated graphic to make a point about the Cowboys having too many colors (which I wouldn’t try to argue with … dark Royal and metallic blue-silver are the ONLY colors needed, please) and he pointed out that the Cowboys have since eliminated at least some of those colors, so your graphic was at the very least misleading. The proper response would be, “my fault, but it’s still way too many colors.” Which I think the vast majority of us would agree with.

How is that an answer to @TruColor for dunking on you for using a wildly out of date image to make your point?
