Hmmm... According to this graphic the helmet is Battle Red, but the jersey is Batlle Red. Now, are those two different colors? Or is the Texans' marketing department just kinda stupid?

What did Holtz say? For that matter, is Holtz still alive? Shocking.

Outside of the competitive trash talk from Colorado’s opponents, I don’t get the hate/resentment coming from the general sports public. Oregon should be wiping the floor with Colorado and they are. Good for them. That says more about Oregon than it does Colorado and Deion Sanders. Anyone with a brain couldn’t have possibly expected Colorado to compete with the big dogs just yet. Deion is just being Deion. He’s obviously got them going in the right direction. They’re competitive and relevant. Last year they were the worst FBS team in the country. Have fun, enjoy the show and see what they do after they get knocked down presumably two weeks in a row.
I can’t speak for everyone but I honestly think it has less to do with “Deion being Deion” and more about the national media hype machine that gets stoked up around these things. Earlier this week on ESPN’s morning show they said that Colorado had changed college football forever. That’s a quote. Three average looking wins against unimpressive opponents and college football as we know it has changed forever. Said with straight faces.
Seriously, how are people supposed to react to that?

Oregon’s coach saying that’ll be just about enough of that.

I’m sitting here trying to imagine the reaction of the average fan (the 95+ percent who couldn’t care less about what socks their team is wearing) when a key player on their favorite team gets suspended for wearing the wrong socks. The entire concept is idiotic.
I just hope you’re kidding.

I feel like Maryland was specifically trying to please people who like the sort of uniforms I like with this permanent throwback, but it just isn’t working for me.

I didn't see the hit, but I heard it described as pretty standard tackling.
If he's that brittle, I think yeah, he's done. And wouldn't that just be the Jets?
The Bills lost three games last year by a combined 8 points. They lost their best defensive player, Josh Allen played hurt, and then they watched a teammate die on the field. And they also lost a home game.
I've heard some chatter that the 2022 Bills were a disappointment, but I think A. all things considered, they were spectacular and B. their extenuating circumstances were pretty extenuating.
Well, I haven't watch the Bills on a regular basis and you have, so I'll take your word for all that. All I know is the games I have watched, he seems to throw to the wrong team more than you'd think.
And as I started to write this post, he threw an interception.

I feel like everyone watched Josh Allen play that amazing game in the playoffs against KC and decided that game was who he is.
But maybe it isn’t.

I like the blue pants. The blue pants are honestly not the problem.
Bills need to bring back red socks full time. Home and road. Home: Blue jersey, white pants, red socks. Away White jersey, blue pants, red socks.
I always thought the Bill's early 80's red socks were a great little quirk. One of those things that logically shouldn't work but somehow does. It be in favor of bringing it back. (Of course, I'm in favor of pretty much anything that creates contrast between the pants and socks.)

Too bad they ruin it by wearing Blue socks. If there ever was a time to wear White socks, this is it.
Quite frankly, they should always wear Gold pants with the White jerseys.Yeah, to echo what you said about the Patriots only needing to wear gray pants, the Rams just need the one pair of yellow-gold pants, home and road.
(I'd personally burn every pair of pants the Seahawks wear other than their gray, too.)

I read how the players feel more comfortable when wearing white socks or pants. The convenience factor.
2 hours ago, Brave-Bird 08 said:That makes no sense.
The only way it makes sense is if you think about how the players seem to want to pull their pants up over their knees like bike shorts. When the socks are a contrasting color it’s so easy to spot, and I think it’s still technically against the uniform policy. When the pants and socks are one long blob of identical color you can’t really tell where the pants end and the socks start. I’m sure that’s at least partially what is appealing to the players.- 1

They claimed it was supposed to cut down on game time but that was complete BS. There’s less plays but more standing around between snaps and more commercials to fill up the difference.
It sucks.

The new clock rules in college football this year seriously suck.
I’m watching relatively low power offenses burn up half a quarter by muddling around and not even scoring. Just trying to not get blown out without even attempting to win.
Who asked for this?

Well, for one thing, imaginary. Actual Vikings never wore horns on their helmets.
