  2. What is it? its a team from the American Basketball Association.. http://www.sportslog...tion/ABA/logos/ http://www.remembert...s/TamsBass2.jpg
  3. I've ordered equipment from them plenty of times. They're legit. I second that
  4. Fixed so it actually shows I play hockey with Adam Clement and a few others that work at UA. Maybe I can sneak a peak.
  5. $600 is typical for a pro-style painted mask. http://www.prohockeylife.com/goalie-masks-senior-goalie-masks-c-5_38_100/bauer-nme-7-painted-sr-mask-p-79 Also, I couldn't see the link posted earlier, so here's the only one I could find. Is it the same? Yes, that was the picture I was trying to link to. No doubt there is value in the helmet on it's own. Being a goalie has to be one of the most expensive positions to play is youth sports in terms of equipment. I was just commenting on the winning bid theorizing the person thought it was as advertised. Also, why not fork over $500 for a new stock painted mask that looks much better than the "Potvin" mask. Just my two cents. If it is legit that's going to be a rare collectible and worth more than $600. I just don't think it is. Looking more into it that picture must be from 91-92 because that was the last season Toronto wore that style of jersey. He only appeared in 4 games that season and two of his rookie cards have him in different jerseys (home and 75th anniversary third) but the "Osgood" helmet. His 92/93 cards then have him in the early form signature style. Did he wear two different helmets for the other two games he appeared in 91/92? Did he wear it with St. John's?
  6. I don't recall him wearing that mask either. His rookie year he first wore the helmet and cat?s eye cage combo like Osgood wore. After that I thought he had switched to the first version of his signature mask style with the abstract cat design but I did find him wearing a helmet I had not seen but it's not the one in the auction (http://vadergirl.tripod.com/potv.jpg). His mask was one of the reason's he became my favorite goalie at the time. I thought his mask was the coolest thing as a kid. To me the one in the auction doesn't look like a professionally done mask. I hope it's real for the sake of the winning bidder. $600! Ouch if it's fake.
  7. Edit: http://www.uksoccershop.com/products/11010.html This looks legit right? Shipping is the only problem I would have in this case. I've heard questionable things about UK Soccer shop. I've ordered from here before and everything I ordered was what I got. You can also request jerseys from them and they'll look for you and notify you when they come across one. http://www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk/international-teams/african/other-african/2010-11-ivory-coast-away-shirt-bnib.html Can you order specific players? It says they're available but I don't see a way to select them. What have you heard about UK, they seem legit, a wide array of jerseys? Thanks for the help. You can't order specific players. It's just what they have in stock but if you wanted your jersey customized I'm sure you could get it done somewhere. As far as UK Soccer Shop I just got the impression from online reviews that they are a pain to deal with, shipments can take months, counterfeit jerseys etc. Just do a Google search and you can decide what you think of them but after reading the reviews I decided against it and went with Classic Football Shirts UK and they have not disappointed.

  9. The description from the FCB shop says white/infrared.
  10. The picture of the new kit shown here looks like somebody just photo-shopped the 2010 jersey. http://www.jerseyscool.com/images/s100087_1.jpg

  12. i think that might be incorrect. Heres what they have for the 2012 authentic Pujols jersey and I didnt see any patches on either the red or the home during the press conference. http://shop.mlb.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12461759&cp=1452341.1452372.702748 Has it on the other authentic jerseys http://shop.mlb.com/product/index.jsp?productId=11205498&cp=1452341.1452372.702748
  13. I imagine that's because they were the only basketball team with New York in their name (after the New York Nets moved to New Jersey, that is). No one who lives in New York would openly admit to rooting for a team named New Jersey. So even if the New Jersey Nets are in the same metropolitan area, the New York Knicks were the only team to root for as a New Yorker. The move to Brooklyn should change that. Hate that they stuck with the Nets name though. It worked when you had an alliterative name like New Jersey Nets or New York Nets.. Brooklyn should have a team name starting with B, like the Brooklyn Ballers. According to the NY Daily News the Yankees are #1. 32% consider the Yankees their favorite team while the Knicks were at 5%. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/yankees/2011/09/29/2011-09-29_derek_jeter_is_new_yorks_favorite_athlete_yankees_are_empire_states_top_team_sie.html
  14. Yankees have retired two number 8's. Bill Dickey and Yogi Berra.
