Do you think some NBA Champions should change the "World Champions" text on their banners in favor of just "Champions" or "NBA Champions"?
I've long tolerated "NBA World Champions" because it's been that way for the longest time but I'm having doubts now.
Perhaps Noah Lyles has a point after all.
Especially after this FIBA World Cup

How does TBL have more teams than the NBA?
Do you have $100 dollars and a full size basketball court?

That new Davidson cat feels way more generic than the previous one. Maybe it's the grey that was added in, maybe it's the three-quarter view instead of the front-facing view, maybe it's the lack of the diamond. I would look at that wildcat logo and never be able to distinguish it as uniquely Davidson.
The same can be said for the old version. I wouldn't have a clue if I didn't frequent the boards. Weber States weird cat is the only one that really stands out to me.

Those are... something. Shoehorned came patterns, nor sleeve fills, have ever looked good. This isn't anywhere near the worst military themed alternate uniform, but it's not great. At least it's a one-off look and isn't monochrome.
I agree. A lame excuse to throw out some old jerseys and sell them for $300 a pop at the yard sale next spring.

I'm not usually one for plain field designs, but I was a big fan of the helmet stripe yard-line they used there for a couple years.
I found it lazy. Especially because they have been so lazy as to just use the helmet as a logo since the devial and Art Modell owned the team.

Columbia socks would have been better

Mascots and cheerleaders is something I don't think the XFL will ever have. Don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing.
It's just extra.

The CAA is now the Coastal Athletic Association
Thye should have freshened up the look a little in my opinion. The name change was the least of the "logo" concern.

Oh, sure. Nike has a good template, but no one wants to use it.
Makes sense.
They had it, it had those same stripes like Under Armour, and LSU and Ole Miss went back to what they had.

And once again UA pulls off the shoulder loops about 100 times better than Nike.Nike has a good template, none of the teams wanted to use it.

The Commanders does tie back into their namesakes. The colors don't really match up well though.

I thought UTEP wore orange... Does this strike anyone else as yellow?
It's such a pale orange anymore. Like an orange piece of paper left out in the sun.

It happens all the Rome and maybe they're using excessive lighting and photoshop. I assume they will break these out at home so if there's an issue they can change real quick. That one company that does all the quick fixes is probably slobbering at the bit right now.

UCF's new road uniform. I see it lasting a game before the NCAA forces them to add an outline.

Yeah, this needed a little more thought.

I have always read it as a DR and you can't get me legally drunk enough to see an A anywhere!

I'm not a Suns fan, but this was a really dumb move. They were actually a better team without Durant and that addition didn't make sense that late in the season.

Well, the XFL Championship end zones are generic lifeless trash
It's the same ones they used all year. They should have just put down team nicknames and a logo.

I think the only changes to the helmet would be stickers, so maybe they changed what their bumpers will look like.

I think that ship has sailed and they don't need to go back. The only way for it to work is to get approval from Native American groups and they would still look at Warriors as a way of placing them in a box.
You mean COL Rock?
Redwolves or 32's would be a great way to move forward. With 32's you just need the colors to stay burgundy and gold, and your mascot choices are endless.
An updated version of something like this, and a W on his chest would be a great start.
The numerical names only make sense to me if you are the Sixers. That's their whole identity from the jump. I assume the 36ers in Australia are the same way but I don't have that cultural knowledge.
-
They could have made a SGT Rock type logo that was a neutral skin tone or just gray and you have a serviceable commander. Also, Colonels are known as full birds so you could have stylized that rank inside a star, add the evidently compulsory DC flag and build off that for a better look. The stencil W is meh, so you could restore the WFT W and no-one would notice. my 2 cents.

If you want more football, you gotta expect soo the patches will proliferate. The USFL aren't putting people in the stands so I assume this will be another revenue flow soon.
