  1. Because we haven’t drafted his replacement yet …until next year’s QB draft class
  2. Another mistake from the “Mistake by the Lake” Should've just gone back to the LeBron rookie era branding. It was the best look the franchise has had in its existence
  3. How about Navy, Teal, and Yellow …tie all of eras of M’s baseball together.
  4. Here’s the Liberty White helmet they also tested out last year in the lobby. Interestingly enough, with a white face mask (personally I would’ve chose a navy face mask like the original concept helmet) Battle Red helmet was the right choice.
  5. Maybe find a compromise? The name and colors are off limits. But what if the Texans wore white helmets, navy jerseys, and white pants, complete with the consistent striping the Oilers uniforms had? That was the part of the Oilers uniforms I really liked, from the helmet, to the jerseys, to the pants, to the socks. It was entirely consistent. The striping and numerals aren’t off limits. It would be an Oilers-esqe touch to the Texans brand, tying the past present and future together.
  6. “Poor quality and execution” is literally the new Utah Jazz statement (black) and icon (yellow) jerseys.
  7. There’s beauty in simplicity, that’s the Brooklyn look and it has local ties. It’s prefect. What the Jazz have done is just plain boring with no real ties except “Beehive State.” And even then, they choose to use Volt, not Yellowjacket. Embrace the Purple Mountain Majesty look of the Stockton/Malone era. The future concept uniform (right) they unveiled should’ve been the way
  8. The red helmets will be worn with red jerseys and white pants https://www.chron.com/sports/texans/article/Houston-Texans-Battle-Red-helmets-uniforms-Eagles-17299384.php#photo-22691878
  9. This would’ve been perfect if the 2020 Cleveland Indians had won the World Series. It would’ve been the 100th anniversary of these 1921 uniforms, a neat nod to history while celebrating success …oh well.
  10. It almost looks candy paint red, which would be a cool nod to the slab car culture there. But I can’t envision this megachurch Gemstones football franchise being that in tune with their city. Red is an easy choice over a bland white helmet and this Battle Red helmet is one of the few things they’ve gotten right since blowing 24-0 at Kansas City.
  11. Like the colors and vibe. But the hats are a disappointment, Nike mailed it in there. Basically a colorway. A Swingin Friar colorway could’ve worked as a hat logo switch up from the interlocking SD. Now that all of this year’s City Connect uniforms are revealed, IMO the Astros and Royals are the best in 2022. I have the White Sox and Marlins as best in 2021.
  12. Im guessing “San Diego” will be in the font we see on the socks. Considering the colors, mismatched sleeves sound like an awful idea. What are they designing, Hawaiian shirts?
  13. It’s just one game but I really :censored:ing hate being no hit by THAT team in OUR house. Twice. WTF? Lone bright spot is Cole train appears to be on track. Gallo and Donaldson need to be gone.
  14. Nothing about this says Utah or Beehive State aside from the colors. Nothing says Jazz basketball or their history about it either (aside from the retina searing Volt jersey). Just a plain template. Just plain terrible.
  15. The only issue I have with this is the Hurricane Force Wind Warning flag is red, not blue. Maybe swap for the primary logo in Panthers colors or use the appropriate Hurricane Force Wind Warning flag colors of the secondary logo on a Carolina Blue jersey base, which IMO might look even better.
  16. So much heat, they could feel it throughout the AFC East.
  17. Cry more. I love to see it from LA fans Its as pathetic as Cashman, who should be fired.
  18. This entire set is …from the top down to the socks. Amazing job.
  19. It’s Charlotte https://twitter.com/camisasdanba/status/1454910117607092225?s=21
  20. Any guesses who’s “pitifully chaotic” City Edition might leak today?
  21. The A’s can make it work in Vegas with an Allegiant Stadium style full ETFE roofed ballpark and a retractable field with sliding glass panels as seen in Houston (Minute Maid Park) and Miami (Loandepot Park). Also, summertime in Vegas is also pool club season so I’ll call my shot …a Vegas A’s ballpark will include a resort style stadium swim club. If they can make it happen, the perfect site is the Vegas Festival Grounds by Circus Circus on the north end of the strip. In addition to possibly luring tourists to catch a game, the valley has a metro population of 2.2 million, 200K lower then Portland who I consider the only other competition in relocation currently but has had no talks with the A’s. But in Las Vegas, they’ll likely also draw road crowds from the Dodgers, Angels, Padres and Diamondbacks. IMO, there’s no question the A’s will be more successful in Vegas then in Oakland, stuck perennially in the shadow of the Giants in the City. The A’s are offering to fully fund construction of the waterfront ballpark if the city cleans up its infrastructure at Howard Terminal. And with the port/Schnitzer Steel opposing this along with the demands of local politicians, there’s no way I see the the July 20 city council vote going in their favor. Last weeks meetings revealed their simply too far apart to come to an agreement by July 20th. Interestingly enough, the A’s are due to visit Vegas for a 3rd time on July 21st, a day after the Oakland city council vote.
  22. The Padres weren’t the only team that teased relocation to the DC/Northern Virginia market. The Astros were also close to moving here until a referendum barely squeaked by to build The Ballpark at Union Station (now Minute Maid Park) While the article states Washington Astros, it was rumored the team name Collins had chosen was the Virginia Fury. Also, didn’t see it on the list but another relocation that almost happened was the Giants to Tampa Bay in the early 90’s. https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwjr_Pj7ldffAhUDX60KHSYxBxYQzPwBegQIARAC&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.washingtonpost.com%2Fnews%2Fdc-sports-bog%2Fwp%2F2017%2F11%2F02%2Fthe-washington-astros-relocating-to-d-c-was-on-the-table-in-1995%2F&psig=AOvVaw2CmhHSdf_FjsheSd7EERvP&ust=1546795919721667
