@jmoe12 there is a hidden crown in the hair, maybe I should make it more prominent. To make it look more fierce, should I do a large open mouth or just more snarly?

Here is a logo that I am doing for a friend. I used purple and gold to convey royalty, along with the lion. I've done other logos but never an animal face-on. Hoping for some comments and criticism, with advice, or I could e-mail someone the Photoshop or illustrator file, if they wanted to fix it themselves. Thanks in advance

I made the logo below for a sim baseball team of mine. I am now trying to make home uniforms for the team similar to the Nationals 2010 home unis. I am using AI CS2 but, am very unfamiliar with using templates. Can anyone point me towards a tut or lend some advice? I'm not opposed to someone taking a stab at it but, I'd like to learn how too.

Here is my 5th revision. I redid the shadows on the face, the nose, mouth, and the eyes. I think the eyes are the problem but I don't know what to do. Any ideas? Thanks,

Here is my 4th revision. I added a word mark, redid some of the mane, & made the border thicker. Again, I am still having trouble with the shadows on the face. Any ideas? Also, if anyone has the desire to finish it (never heard back from last guy) for me I can send them the file. I may be even willing to pay someone through PayPal $10-$15. Thanks,
