  1. I wonder what the story is behind that wordmark. My gut tells me it's not a faux back but i'm not sure
  2. I wish the city connect uniforms were approached like "how do we design the coolest looking baseball uniforms" and not "how do we make these baseball uniforms a community art project" I don't know why I had high hopes for the Rockies version. I should have known better
  3. The Pelicans look much better when the uniforms strike an even balance between Navy, Red, and Gold
  4. They've carried that wordmark over 3 different identities and I'm baffled why it's not more prominent. It's the best word mark they've ever designed and it's ability to be seamlessly recolored proves it (imo)
  5. They over-complicated something that was successful and are trying to redefine clashing aesthetics as good because it's meta. Too many chefs in the kitchen
  6. Your concept is an upgrade. The number font you picked is modern but tasteful A+. I still like the continuous unbroken horn better but the new one is easier to embrace in this presentation.
  7. Green pants were always my favorite option with the black jerseys
  8. They should have called this series quirky connect.
  9. Death by a thousand cuts. Small ad here small ad there until people are desensitized and they can expand their profitability even more. The teams and the leagues are more profitable than ever. They keep raising prices on everything. Now they're putting ads on the uniforms and charging fans for the privilege of being apart of it. All of this was planned in a board room years ago and this exact time was chosen for a reason.
  10. This has got to be like the 4th year in a row they let two teams get on the floor basically wearing the same color. The NBA uniform system is not working. Too many options from night to night. Too many chances to make mistakes and not enough effort is being put into enforcing the match ups. It makes everyone involved look sloppy and absent minded.
  11. My only real gripes with these are the non-continuous side stripes and the mismatched front and back color trim. I wish they would have used green as the primary away uniform colors though. They could have easily slid into the green/yellow niche with the absence of the Sonics. Using navy as the secondary color/alt color would have been a bolder move
  12. If they were committed to adopting black this is how they should have done it.
  13. (from what we can tell) That Grizzlies word-mark looks pretty solid!
  14. None of these are a step forward. The DALLAS throwback word mark looks cool. New Jazz color scheme doesn't look bad it's just really different. I can't take the Lakers seriously until they stop playing around
  15. The Jazz should publicly embrace being the perpetual chameleon franchise. Drastically changing our color scheme every handful of years is what we do, what will we do next?
  16. I don't have any inside knowledge but it's possible changing color schemes of copyrighted designs might cause contractual issues. In theory I like your idea and I think other people would like it too
  17. They have a good color scheme (thankfully) but they took more than a few steps backwards. Not the worst look in the league quite possibly bottom 5
  18. Is the NHL going to do Reverse Retro uniforms in the 22-23 season?
  19. The Braves I could see changing relatively soon. This was more of a thought experiment because people wanting to change Texas Rangers took me by surprise. I don't think the next name change will take as long as Cleveland specifically because the precedent has been set
  20. Atlanta Braves San Diego Padres Washington Nationals Los Angeles Angels I could see people making a case that these names are problematic.
  21. Are there any other MLB team names that people find problematic?
  22. Graphite/electric blue/black look great on a t-shirt. I'd imagine it would look great on a uniform too
  23. Because fans would realize it was an option ok ok ok
  24. I was hoping Tom Brady going to Tampa and getting the uniforms changed back would start a trend in the NFL
