  1. Yeah, I'm gonna leave this here since Ice Edge is involved....
  2. Oh joy the Balkan is involved.... For the love of God...
  3. Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. -Albert Einstein Glendale is insanity....
  4. Allegedly, there is a "real" deadline, Glendale to Yotes: Get your crud together by Jan 15th or that's it.
  5. Hehe, someone said something they weren't suppose to. Denial is usually the first sign.... Just saying.
  6. As Mentioned earlier about VT http://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2012/11/20/3673798/virginia-tech-sec-conference-realignment
  7. Now that's insulting to the sock puppet and hooker! Jamison's mystery partners DISCOVERED SUCKERS Gregy J. Gregy J. Making lots of suckers in Glendale everyday.
  8. Hopefully not. But it looks like the city is giving him another month even though the original deal expired last night (July 31). http://www.fieldofschemes.com/2012/08/01/3604/would-be-coyotes-owner-gets-another-month-to-not-buy-the-coyotes/
  9. Whitney speaks about the ownership issue http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/2012/05/25/ray_whitney_coyotes_need_stable_ownership/?utm_source=Hockey%20lineup%20RSS-Images&utm_medium=feed&utm_content=Whitney%3A%20Coyotes%20a%20%22doormat%20in%20the%20league%22 Whitney believes the Coyotes were at a competitive disadvantage in the Stanley Cup playoffs in comparison to other teams because the club does not have an ownership group to defend them. "I don't want to go through another year and be a doormat in the league where you don't have ownership and people to stand up for you," Whitney told Sarah McLellan of Azcentral.com. The Coyotes were frustrated with the officiating in their series loss to the Los Angeles Kings and the Western Conference final. "It's tough for our management. It's tough for our coaching staff, and eventually it runs down. It's tough for players," Whitney said. "I didn't feel like we had the same competitive edge as everyone else. "Who are we going to complain to? Our owner gave the trophy out to the other team." Never heard from the player's perspective but who could blame him?
  10. The hearing was held today, this is what the judge said today... according to the HFBoards Judge Fink: I am inclined to rule that section of ordinance which mentions emergency clause be invalidated. Strike 1?
  11. "The apocalypse has finally begun, Pigs are learning how to fly, Satan is skating his way to work & I'm pretty sure I just became a monkey's uncle."-NC Tom & Jerry review... http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=397980 Seriously, if this is true, hell has frozen over...
  12. http://ktar.com/22/1552014/Goldwater-Institute-Glendale-missing-significant-portions-of-Coyotes-deal "We said, 'Hey, do this in a couple of days when you've had a chance to finish these exhibits and get everything public and give taxpayers the chance to look at the documents and weigh in,'" said Rhoades. "And that is all we're asking for: that people have the chance to be heard. They rushed this thing to a vote without being ready." Rhoades said the deal was rushed by the NHL and rumors that Jamison's investors are faltering.
  13. Goldwater is going in guns blazing, get the popcorn http://goldwaterinstitute.org/article/letter-mayor-and-councilmembers-glendale Some snippets... We understand the Council is considering adopting the deal as an "emergency" measure, which would deprive Glendale citizens of their right to refer the matter to a vote. As you know, the circumstances justifying an emergency declaration are limited. Given that the City apparently has been negotiating this proposal for quite some time, and the dire financial condition the City is in, denying citizens their right of referral seems inappropriate.
  14. Butler decided to skip on waiting http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/7984779/butler-bulldogs-move-atlantic-10-now-set-season Butler will join the Atlantic 10 next season instead of waiting until 2013-14, the school announced Tuesday. "We are grateful to the Atlantic 10 for welcoming us into the fold a year ahead of schedule," Bulldogs athletic director Barry Collier said in a statement. "Ultimately it was in our best interest to reach an agreement with the Horizon League for immediate departure." "The unexpected circumstances that precipitated Butler's request to move immediately were unfortunate," A-10 commissioner Bernadette V. McGlade said in a statement, "but we will welcome Butler into the A-10 as a valuable new member."

"We should wait for the NHL to comment, it's not for me to do obviously. I know you want more information, but we will stick to this line, "he said. Peladeau participated on Wednesday in connection with SportAccord, in a panel on new technologies and the future of sports replay parts. He was with John Collins, COO and number two in the NHL.
  16. It amazes me that a conference that was going to be considered dead in a few years is now getting stronger. Whatever happened, the Big 12 is making a lot of noise.
  17. GWI is going to war... Byron Schlomach, chief economist at the institute, said the proposed management fee to the team is too high, because comparable facilities garner around $10 million. That could be reason for the group to sue, he said. ?They seem like a gambler with their last buck,? Schlomach said in a telephone interview. ?There?s no way they are going to spend it on a meal, they are going to try to get back in the game.? http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-05-21/playoffs-lure-coyotes-buyer-as-losses-force-city-to-fire-workers.html
  18. I know what you mean. Although, I don't know about VA Tech going to the SEC, I remember years ago how they were trying hard to get in the ACC but like I said that was years ago. I would like to see the ACC stay afloat but it just seems like once you turn around, another school is going. Sadly, I think FSU is first domino of the ACC
  19. http://www.glendalestar.com/news/hea...9bb2963f4.html "At a May 8 council meeting, Scruggs said no one should feel too hopeful just yet, because she has yet to see anything in writing." ?All this talk the $25 million has dropped to $20 million, that has dropped to $17 million; I?ve never seen anything in writing,? Scruggs said. ?Maybe some of my colleagues have. There is no deal in writing. We?ll see what comes along, maybe it will be something that I can support, but at this point, I can?t support something I haven?t seen.? What do you guys think, is this finally the end?
  20. I didn't think it was gonna be that quick. I'm starting to wonder if something's going on in the CAA?
  21. Here ya go 4 http://espn.go.com/college-sports/story/_/id/7929165/florida-state-seminoles-president-eric-barron-outlines-pros-cons-acc-alignment
