  1. I'm periodically adding a few teams. The goal is 1 per week but I'm leaving open if I'm not able. Here's the first two: The Region SC and Oak Park SC. https://pcgd.co/the-region https://pcgd.co/oak-park
  2. The sleeves were originally raglan but it always was more or less what you see now.
  3. Its been 4 long years since my last post here. My departure wasn't about anything other than just a slow decrease of posting until I stopped. I lurked for a bit after that without really posting. I've now moved to Portland, OR and had a kid, so my time really is even more limited. However, with the pandemic happening, I got a chance to update my website (www.pcgd.co) and with that, I decided to make a home for The America League project I did back in 2013. I've updated the stories and mockups, created a full history of the league with yearly results, added a map, listed champions, and have mapped out the next two levels on the America League Pyramid. I thought anyone that was around back then, would appreciate seeing the updates! https://pcgd.co/america-league-all
  4. How does Kansas give them more access to St. Louis than Illinois does? St. Louis is like 60/40 Missouri/Illinois now. Missouri hates Kansas. Maybe I'm missing something? Speaking of, although it worked out better for Missouri football going to the SEC, Missouri should be in the Big Ten over Rutgers. I know the timelines are different so it's not an either or situation, but Missouri feels like a Big Ten team way more than Rutgers and it would have been a nice way to tie Nebraska into the footprint a bit more. Kinda feel the same way about Maryland but not as much... Although a part of me is really interested in all of this expansion stuff and I love to imagine scenarios where the Big Ten and SEC have 20 teams, I hate what its done to college sports. Nothing makes sense, (I know its a bad joke, but the Big 12 has 10 teams, the Big Ten has 14 teams) teams only play 3/4 of the teams in football and some teams twice and others once in basketball...non-revenue sports having to travel from Nebraska to New Jersey for a regular season game...Big Ten basketball tournament is going to be in NYC and DC....its just not like it used to be...
  5. SB had potential but lacks character. Everything else is top notch.
  6. I'm all for prosecuting counterfeiters but 175 years in prison is harsh as hell. Even the 15 years is harsh. We really need to examine prison terms in this country, some of them are waaaaaaay out of line with others.
  7. Non expansion teams to move from downtown to burbs or visa versa: Detroit Lions (to downtown) Washington (to burbs) 49ers (to burbs, future) Islanders (to city, future) Braves (to burbs, future) Pistons (to burbs) Capitals (to city) Most of those are NFL which location doesn't matter as much, are in the future, or happened too long ago that it's hard to say how that effects today's landscape. Looks like I was blowing smoke cause there are no numbers really either way.
  8. My experience in Phoenix is that the "city" of Phoeniz (and I use the term loosely) is vacant after the work day, and the only reason anyone is in "downtown" phoenix after dark is if there's a ball game. Same thing could be said of St. Louis (although I think that's changing…it was certainly true in the past) but they draw over really well for baseball and decent for hockey. Not discounting it entirely but if people want to watch the product like they do in most cities, they'll travel for it. I think when you look at most cities that have a suburban stadium vs. a downtown one, the downtown one typically draws better. I could be proven wrong with facts on that however...
  9. How anyone could think deleting anything these days means its gone is beyond me.
  10. They'd consider it but I just wouldn't be surprised if it ended up being "We revoted and its still Qatar!"
  11. I get the feeling many people (not just here, but everywhere) figure if there is a revote that the US is a lock to get the 2022 World Cup. To me, the odds of that happening are 20%. There is no way FIFA doesn't take this opportunity to revote and confirm that they made the "right" choice in Qatar. Yes Sepp Blatter has said it was a mistake but I just think the chances of them changing the location are unlikely.
  12. Already been done: http://online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB10001424052748703989304575503821229703834
  13. Thanks everyone for the honor! I could say I don't do this for the recognition, but its always really great to see when others appreciate your work.
  14. Well I hope the "Huahuas" alternate comes out in year two. Missed opportunities...
  15. Haha…sorry I deal with this a ton at work. Finding someone with no relation to an organization 'owns' the phrase and then that organization can't use it. Its amazing that its allowed. How can you "own" something that's associated with someone else just because you got your paperwork in first?
  16. Oh jeez, these guys are scammy idiots. Like the article said, they are basically cyber-squating. Trying to profit off the hard work and creativity of others with alternate spellings and they think they are clever. He is not a real obsticle, he will lose. Its obvious what he's doing. That's not saying the Coyotes haven't made numerous mistakes, but this guy stealing their brand (and the brands of the Suns, Cardinals, and Pheonix Open) is not one of them.
  17. These look like "strike offs." When printing jerseys the screenprinters will grab spare garments to make sure all the screens are aligned correctly before printing on actual for sale garments. It doesn't matter color, brand, whatever. Generally just that the fabric type is similar. Looks like those to me.
  18. I proposed this color scheme for them over 10 years ago while I was still in college! Not suggesting they stole it, just tooting my own horn.
  19. It's been said numerous times in this thread, no the one off replica is not an issue at all. You can make whatever you want for personal use. If you pay someone to do it for you it's not ok either but to me not as big of a deal. Getting a blank jersey custom lettered with an actual player is iffy because the player isn't getting royalties but it's a bit more grey to me.
  20. Who do you think works for these big companies? Anonymous blobs? Thousands of real people from all over the US get their employment from these evil corporations.
  21. More arched italics!?! Why? Just make it straight!! Either non-arched or non-italics. Everything else is fine but man the wordmark looks like it's falling over.
