  1. Ring details: https://www.philadelphiaeagles.com/photos/philadelphia-eagles-super-bowl-lii-championship-rings#7cee5350-043d-48c3-8a26-0f732a0d7223
  2. Still not a fan of the updated logo, but they look much more like the Dolphins again.
  3. I always thought the old Scranton-Wilkes Barre Red Barons had a classic MLB caliber uniform set.
  4. My goodness the Rams look awful. The white horn looks cheap and the white face mask doesn't work. The mismatching jerseys and terrible pants stripe. A Frankenstein's monster of awful uniform elements. Those Cowboy blues are still gorgeous though.
  5. Given the location of your CF would the light up liberty bell be part of the deal? If so, sign me up.
  6. I love the drop shadow for the sixers. I'd prefer an outline like the 80s uniforms, but then old numbers and script were begging for something to match the side panels. These are near perfect now.
  7. So watch it be the jersey posted earlier, but with an updated collar. What a mess.
  8. Yeah. I deleted the pic.
  9. Edited. I deleted the pic. The collars clearly don't match. I'll trust the nuggets themselves over Darren Rovell. Sorry for jumping the gun.

  11. Mike Schmidt wearing 37 instead of 20. It was immortalized on an 83 Donruss card. Credit to Frank McGuigan on twitter for posting the picture.
  12. Sorry if this was already posted, but Reggie White wore 91 with the Eagles when he first signed in 1985. He switched to his legendary 92 in 1986.
  13. Switching gears, here is Reggie White making the great Steve Young look small. I sat on Reggie White's shoulders to shoot free throws at a charity basketball game. I was a big kid and he was by far the largest man I have ever seen in person. Both in stature and personality.
  14. Of course. Gifford ended up missing two years, but he, the doctors, the Giants organization, and the league let him come back after that, albeit at a different position. That speaks to the lack of knowledge and foresight the entire league had at that time. It was Bednarik's fault for injuring him with a terrible clothesline tackle. It wasn't his fault for the decision to come back and be subjected to more head trauma. That aside, you can't dismiss the historical relevance of the photo and the story it tells. If anything, let it stand as a cautionary tale.
  15. The classic Chuck Bednarik shot after knocking out Frank Gifford (via time.com).
  16. Ageed. Gorgeous. I am so happy the unnecessary piping is gone and the mountains are back.
  17. The Clippers were awful to Joe Ingles (what a shocker). They released him from a preseason game as his wife was traveling from Australia to see him play. Preseason. I am am so glad Joe and the Jazz beat them in the playoffs.
  18. He was released today, so now even more so. Thank goodness he didn't make the big club, it would have been weird. But if it's the end, a sad way to go out for a legend for the Phillies. I am sure they'll welcome him home to the organization as soon as he wants to.
  19. You forgot Darren Daulton. Weird site as a Phillies fan. Speaking of notable Phillies on a weird Florida team, here is Pat Burrell as a Ray.
  20. Ryan Howard, Gwinnett Braves. Saw a caption on the news with him with photoshopped Braves A hat. Weird.
  21. Agreed. I am mortified at the idea of it in real life, but I wanted to test it and see what the results could look like.
  22. The other night Rob Manfred mentioned he was open to the possibility of east/west geographical realignment. I was thinking about how it would work. I assumed they would keep the 3 divisions in each league approach and no franchise relocations. Eastern League Northeast Division 1.) Toronto Blue Jays 2.) Boston Red Sox 3.) New York Yankees 4.) New York Mets 5.) Philadelphia Phillies Southeast Division 1.) Baltimore Orioles 2.) Washington Nationals 3.) Atlanta Braves 4) Miami Marlins 5.) Tampa Bay Rays Central Division 1.) Pittsburgh Pirates 2.) Cincinnati Reds 3.) Detroit Tigers 4.) Milwaukee Brewers 5.) Cleveland Indians Western League Midwest Division 1.) St. Louis Cardinals 2.) Kansas City Royals 3.) Minnesota Twins 4.) Chicago Cubs 5.) Chicago White Sox Southwest Division 1.) Texas Rangers 2.) Houston Astros 3.) Arizona Diamondbacks 4.) Colorado Rockies 5.) San Diego Padres Pacific Division 1.) Los Angeles Angels 2.) Los Angeles Dodgers 3.) San Francisco Giants 4.) Oakland A's 5.) Seattle Mariners The hardest part was sorting out all the Central/Midwest teams. Originally, I had the Chicago teams in the Central and it was called the Great Lakes division. I switched them with Detroit and Milwaukee since I couldn't justify Detroit, an eastern time zone team, in the WL. Plus, it protects the Cubs/Cards rivalry; protecting the major rivalries was key. I like the end result. The leagues feel balanced and each division is a 3/2 mix of teams currently in opposing leagues.
  23. Spartan Race has a similar helmet logo.
