    Look closer on the bumper...

At least that H isn't the one that's going on those helmets. I think that darker blue on the logo needs to match the helmet shell as well.

I actually like the helmet itself. I think we need to see what the rest of the uniform is that is going to accompany it. If they are going with something that's a college style design, the helmet will work. If they try matching it with something like that away jersey though, it will be a complete mess.

This has a very City Connect feel to them. Considering that idea has graced both MLB and NBA, I am wondering if the Texans are kind of the first team to gineua pig the concept for the NFL -- considering they are only 22 years old, kind of makes sense to use them as the test subject

As long as it's less like the Giants, and more like the Red Sox it should work.

    Blue sticking around is confirmed

If the blue helmet was used with the black jersey and either blue or silver pants, it could be such a good look. But we all know it will be Blue/Black/Black instead.

Difference is the Panthers are playing in the home of a team that was a 2nd half meltdown away from the Super Bowl after many years of bad to mediocrity. San Antonio isn't.

Both teams aren't as active locally as they can be. Besides UTSA, Incarnate Word and Trinity have very well known teams taht could be acknowledged during games as a way to get those college football fans in the game.

Unless someone can guarantee 15,000 every game, which other than St. Louis I don't think any city in the country can, work on getting numbers up this year and then work your butt off advertising during the NFL season. If you do that next year and still aren't getting fans, then look at moving them. You are sharing space with the Lions, make it work for you. That's what the Commanders did, working with UTSA, but the Brahmas haven't as far as I'm aware.

Whoa!  It looks like the Texas Flag only goes one way.  The Rangers have their ad patch and flag patch on the same sleeves for every player no matter the handedness.

(Also, I forgot to list the Pittsburgh City Connect and Seattle Cream we've already been told is delayed to the earlier list.)

I wish the ad patches weren't there, but since they are this is the best option.

The Lions are releasing brand new uniforms tomorrow and we know absolutely nothing of them outside of what's been deliberately given to us.  Even a few years ago, it seemed that everything would get leaked in advance, but it's clear that the NFL and Nike have cleaned up their act.

Dan Snyder not being involved helps too.

Portsmouth have been promoted to the Championship as League Champions of League One. Derby were denied the chance to all but claim second place due to Bolton Wanderers tying their match with Shrewsbury.

Bolton would need to win their last two and make up goal difference (-5 points) to jump Derby, who would need to lose both remaining matches.

Stockport County (Champions) and Wrexham have earned promotion to League One. Stockport (in blue)won the league by beating Notts County last night.

Chesterfield FC have claimed the National League automatic  promotion spot and championship. They are moving up to League Two.

It looks like the two automatic spots from the Championship to the Premier League will not be decided until the final day with slot 1-4 all within 5 points of each other. Ipswich Town are currently leading with 89 points and Southampton are sitting on 84 points in 4th place. Leicester City are in 2nd place, but regardless of where they finish up will likely be docked points going into the 2024-25 season.

Makes sense. I laughed getting an email talking about the "new" logo, which is just a recolored mask and helmet. They really need something other than a helmet the league wouldn't allow on the field anymore.

True, but I'd bet dollars to donuts that the WFT and Atlanta undo theirs within the next 2 years. (Although we can't blame Nike for the WFT, that blame rests on Tanya Snyder's shoulders)

I could see the Falcons keeping theirs for a bit longer. The worst part of it are the ATL wordmark and the number font. That gradient jersey is apparently already mothballed as well.

  11. For the Jags' I'd use the Fred Taylor era numbers, complete with the outline colors. With one color numbers they still look like practice jerseys.

    jacksonville-jaguars-maurice-jones-drew-

I think for the Steelers alternate, it needs either black or gold pants. All grey just doesn't fit them.

For the 49ers one day look, I'd add black to the jerseys and pants as well. There's so much on that helmet logo that it needs to carryover to the rest of the uniform.

For the Texans third, it suffers from looking like a Penn State uniform with the Texans logo. I'd probably use that as a way to go crazy, similar to what their new away uniform will be, but probably flipping the horns.

Y'all are going to be shocked to see the helmet color chosen by the Washington Wolfpack... /s

Issues pointed out about the numbers and repeated color choices aside, this is not too bad. They could have had a much more unique helmet with their color scheme which is a disappointment in my view, but I'm guessing the teams are getting some sort of discount to use more basic colors in a larger quantity or something like that.

Something like the background color here would be a great option going forward. Hopefully they can move to break up the black and white helmet mafia next season.

Pretty sure the target audience for The Masters since Tiger stopped being good is my 92-year old Granddad who uses golf as a sleeping aid.

I'm not surprised an Ohio State scrimmage would draw more people who want to watch football than a golf tournament. People will go for what is familiar over what is new most of the time and like it or not, Ohio State football is the definition of familiar.

I like alt-football too. I wouldn't be posting here if I didn't. But, clearly, I am NOT most people.

I'm not really surprised, but there were people saying that the Masters would impact the Sunday games. Looks like that wasn't an issue after all.

That little oaf looks ridiculous and would immediately become worst logo in the league -- but still an upgrade from that generic 90s helmet they keep recycling.

As long as the Commanders logo set exists, nothing else could be the worst in the league.

I'd prefer the version without the gold outlines on the name and numbers. Hate how it makes them look fuzzy from a distance. Optionally cleaning up the Northwestern stripes too, but that doesn't bother me as much.

And +1 to bringing back the UCLA stripes on the whites. Damn striping consistency.

Since Houston is reportedly getting four different styles, I see no reason for the Vikings to not do that as well, even if it's as an alternate jersey.
