  1. Wow, so they're just gonna walk face-first into all those inbreeding jokes?
  2. when did he play for the giants? i don't seem to recall his stint with the giants. Not sure if you are being serious, but he did win his 300th game as a Giant. I remember him as a Giant, but not an Astro. I think he looks out of place in anything but Seattle duds, but just think what if...Montreal kept him and all of the other stars they traded away. They might still have a team with a ton of WS trophies. They grew and shipped out so many great players. See, I just as readily identify him as a Diamondback.
  3. #winning Seriously? He played Hap Felsch in Eight Men Out. I know. My comment was in response to not only the "winning" reference, but the hashtag.
  4. Frank's Red Hot or Texas-style BBQ for me. This might sound weird but tartar sauce is my dip of choice for fries. That sounds gross. But it tastes delicious. I could never stomach fries with plain mayo though. You gotta mix in the ketchup and relish. I love vinegar, but the whole bar wants to kill me when I put it on my fries.
  5. Can we please stop with that? This thread has gotten stupid enough, as it is.
  6. Who th hell is he? And why is he on this topic? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Hendrickson he also happens to be a baseball pitcher now. Relief Pitcher for my Baltimore Orioles. man that is wierd to look at^ Again? Or was that another hint? Also, what's with your random capitalization?
  7. Yeah... He does look a bit strange in an A's uniform. I spelled it that way as a subtile hint. Andre in a A"s uni is really wierd. nice going getting the hint BS. What were the hints in these words you also just misspelled? Wait what? thats the way my mom told me those words were spelled. but I intended to misspell Etiher to give that hint You should go with how your teachers tell you they're spelled, instead.

  9. Yeah... He does look a bit strange in an A's uniform. Ha, I thought of that, too. I was just too lazy to post a picture.
  10. You mean just on this page, right? We've definitely covered that ground.
  11. Or better yet, I think it's just time to let this thread die. Until next year when Nick Lidstrom signs a free agent contract with the Florida Panthers. Ha, that reminds me of when I used to troll the MLive Red Wings forum years ago, about how the Wings should/were going to trade Yzerman to Ottawa for a fourth round draft pick. Also, we pronounce it "Lindstrom", here in Hockeytown. Member when FedErov was here? Maybe to keep this on topic, you should've posted him in an Anaheim, Columbus or Washington uniform.

  14. Correct...unfortunately, those and their ilk are on about their third go-round as reposts. Thanks for the guidance newbie Newbie? I've been registered here since July 2007. I'm more of a lurker than a newbie. Get off your high horse. Yeah, the whole thing with slamming people for membership dates and post counts is pretty disappointing, especially from members I tend to respect.
  15. Honestly, me too...but I just think this thread got real silly a looong time ago, and it's descended into outright stupidity in the last several pages.
  16. Johnny Damon has now played for six teams. He's played more seasons for the Royals, than for anyone else. He played an equal number of years on each side of the Yankees/BoSox rivalry, winning a World Series with both. Which, pray tell, is the right uniform? the Red Sox. Given the facts I presented...why?

  18. Um, he played nearly half his career thus far with the Nets. Yeah, but he has none of the persona attached to his years there. In Boston he gained a reputation as the championship-winning bench-warmer. And in Chicago, he is a celebrity. In New Jersey, he was just a guy on the team. Its not just a number of years, its how memorable they were, or weren't His claim to fame was on the nets what are you talking about? Really? If those years are his claim to fame, then what do you call this? Just stop. Guys like him don't even really belong in this thread, in the first place. The casual NBA fan doesn't even know what team he's on now--I didn't. I've only ever heard of him because he played in a notable Pistons/Nets playoff series some years back.
