I would say him wearing navy pants is a big nothing burger, they are old Reebok pants and it's a photoshoot. The CBJ have already dabbled with two pants, I would expect them to continue to do that and not fully switch.

Correct, aint happening.

"vegas gold" was a poorly chosen name given to that shade somewhere along the way in the past 30 years. Even in a shiny material like Dazzle, nothing about it would make me think of Las Vegas. A team in Vegas should be wearing true gold. I agree the Saints and UW should be in a more classic old gold like they used to wear.
-
FWIW, every possible combination was created and reviewed for the Vegas gold jersey, if you can think of it and concept it, we did too. In the end, it came down to the ownership wanting them to be "brighter" not dark like the grey ones, thus the white.

He was willing, however, his asking price was ridiculous.

"so maybe we see the old Edge set for that game." Nope

A couple of things, first off they never said they were just swapping out logos on the current H&A, so this checks out. It's a Warrior photoshoot, so they're not going to have a sponsor patch and give someone else free publicity. This is all completely normal.
-
oh no, the humanity! The logo was completely redone & streamlined, that minor line was extraneous

What am I supposed to be seeing here?

It' a fabric update only. There are no difference in the details.

They wore that pant with RR1 since that's the pant when Blasty debuted in 1998

No they won't be adding a sleeve number

Nope.

Custom. Proprietary.

I don't know how that works

That is true about football and who "made" the jerseys... IMO, contracting the best factory to produce the uniforms doesn't make it any less genuine to call Adidas, Nike or whoever "the manufacturer." The Adidas and Nikes are still doing all the work on the back end, creating the tech packs, sourcing fabrics and materials etc... They don't just hand the the uniform sketches over and walk away. SP is the best source, they've been doing it for decades and have all the capabilities. Adidas is made at the SP factory in St. HY (the old CCM factory) This is where CCM and Reebok came out of also. Nike and I believe CCM is done at the SP Granby location.
-
Yes, I'm very aware of all that, maybe more so than you know. Also, Reebok did own CCM and the factory in St. Hy during their tenure. My point for clarification was to ask the OP that if by not owning the factories, that means calling it the "manufacturer logo" is somehow wrong? I don't see how it's any different than Polo or Gap doesn't own their factories.
-
Meaning? They don't own the factory the jerseys were manufactured in?
-
This is 100% accurate.

Nike did a street hockey line of jerseys and apparel, even had ball hockey specific sneakers with a hard-toe cap

He meant the state itself, The State of Hockey, which has produced more NHL players than any other. Hockey is religion in MN.
