  1. Do you guys listen to 95.1 WIIL Rock as well? I love their tag line: "From the United Center to the Bradley Center, 95.1 WIIL Rock!!!" They play a decent mix of everything rock related on there!
  2. The ones that I've had or played are table hockey, which was poor mans air hockey, without the air part lol. I played the paper football game a ton in school, usually in the band room because we had the perfect sized tables for it! I had two really awesome baseball games.... One was a re-release/update of All-Star Baseball, with discs of current and former all-stars I got in the eighties, and you'd pick your teams and fill out your line-up cards and put them on actual score cards or scorebook like you use in little leave or for softball leagues. The game play was you took those discs and put them in spinners one for each team. On the disc would be like a pie chart based on the players stats. This link will explain the rest lol. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_Star_Baseball The other was a pinball like game which sadly I can't find online but you can find similar ones. One person would be a pitcher and roll the ball down a ramp and the other would use a flipper to hit the ball! I had tons of fun with those!
  3. He didn't. That picture was Nate Kaeding's body with Eli's head photoshopped on. Ahhh okay, now I see it!
  4. I didn't even know Eli suited up for the Chargers. I always thought he even refused to do that. That is pretty interesting!
  5. Now this I like to see haha! no more injuries to my Packers!
  6. It might not be an unpopular opinion around here, but being a Packers fan it will be. But, I actually like the Bears uniforms.
  7. Wow I had no idea about this. I remember Matt LaPorta was supposed to be the big "can't miss" prospect in that trade. Funny how the world works. Milwaukee knew the window was small -- went all-in that season -- still came up incredibly short. Yup, and we are paying for it today!
  8. Ha! I was just thinking of posting "The Gatorade Spokesman!" I've seen him more in that commercial than actual time on the floor! They'll have to shoot a new one with the new logos and threads lol. Hope comes back stronger than ever, then the Bucks are really going to make some noise!
  9. I'm not selling us short by a long shot. I tried to edit my post to add that if anyone could bring the NHL here, specifically relieving them of the Coyotes Quagmire, it would be Lazry and Edens. They are used to taking losses and turning profits. With the arena situation and Wiscos love of hockey it would be win win. If they owned both clubs and had 100% controlling interest in the arena, maybe taxpayers wouldn't have to foot too much of a bill, save for a luxury/travel tax. It can be done, YES! the logistics would all have to align. The problem would then be........Where do the Admirals go?
  10. For the NHL to Milwaukee talk, I really don't see it happening unless........with the arena issue still mired in red tape and politics here, the Bucks owners strike a deal with the "League" and say hey if you foot some of that money you are using to keep the Coyotes afloat in Arizona and place it into our coffers. We will take on that franchise and you can cut those losses 100% and keep the franchise alive here while we build one of the most state of the art Basketball AND Hockey arenas around. Basically the pure definition of Pipe Dream.
  11. This is my favorite Era too. I live the blue and orange. It looks really striking on those grays too!
  12. A lot of these NFL pics are getting major bonus points for having actual AstroTurf in them too. That brings back memories, when was the last official NFL game played on it?
  13. Oh so so so very right, but that's just me haha. But, it is interesting this was posted here just recently and with the talk over at the "Most Irrelevant" thread about him. Just after I posted there, the Heat came to Milwaukee and while at work, my co-worker and I were walking around the arena bowl courtside, he was out there in his Heat warm-up gear. I said to him, "I still won't get used to seeing him in anything but a Bucks uniform." He agreed. Also re-posting pic for posterity's sake.
  14. Nice avatar! The theme played in my mind when I looked at it lol. Have a good one dude!

  15. I actually like this concept of a new Tampa Stadium for Baseball. Being from Milwaukee I would say that It looks an awful lot like Miller Park, but viewing the layout and all, it it looks like they took a lot of inspiration from a great stadium and added a Tampa flare to it. The walkway leading up to the area around and the stadium itself resembling a RAY is pretty cool too. I don't think this will come to pass, but hope it does in some wierd way!
