  2. Alright, I think the Red Raiders could go for an identity refresh/upgrade. Their recent uniforms were an upgrade in my opinion from the previous UnderArmour looks that we have rolled out but still left something to be desired and IMO have aged greatly. The pants have been tweaked slightly to remove the "Guns Up" text and the stripes are modified a little as well. The jerseys now feature contrasting TV numbers on the shoulder tops (inspired by the Ohio State national championship unis), and a sublimated pattern on the sleeve caps. This pattern is an homage to those found on the shoulders of the suits that Spanish Matadors wore (this is what the school's original mascot was, and elements can still be found on the masked rider mascot). I also think the "Double T" logo looks better flat - but our stadium upgrade included a beveled logo on the scoreboard that was solid red which is a nice combination of simple and modern over the current look. So enough of all that, here are the goods. C&C welcome. I've put together some different combinations the team could wear, as well as a throwback set. 3. Thought it would be cool to see what NHL branding would look like on the Nike Vapor Untouchable Template. Leave comments and requests below! First up... The Pacific Division LA Kings San Jose Sharks Edmonton Oilers Phoenix Coyotes Anaheim Ducks Calgary Flames Vancouver Canucks
  4. Galway United (away) Here is my take on away kit for Galway United. So first a bit of background, Galway United are a club from the west of Ireland that are in the top division of Irish football. Their kits in recent years have been brilliant. Their Current home kit is biased on the famous boat from the county. http://galwayunitedfc.ie/2017-home-jersey-revealed/ Teams from the county are known as the Tribesmen or women. This is due to the 8 tribes that were prevalent in the county. This brings me to my kit. Its a simple white jersey with a colourful trim. That trim is made up of the colours of those tribes. On the inside of the collar is teams tag 'its tribal thing'. Would love some C&C.
  5. I'm sure I missed a thing or two here, as I started making it before I really thought things out, but here- have a helmet flag (after all, helmets are what I do)! Happy Independence Day, everyone!
  6. I want to first start out by saying that I will try to make this long story a short one, but if I am unsuccessful in that I do apologize ahead of time. With that being said, this design started with a request from a high school to help them create a new logo and brand. The school's nickname is Gators, so like most high schools with that name they used the different variations of Florida's walking gator and gator head logos, as well as the Georgia/Green Bay "G" for their own branding. My task was to create something unique to this school, but not lose that basic identity that had been established, and create a "gator G" described to me as a "G" logo that is a gator. So, my designs were by request heavily influenced by Florida's. After investing a lot of time and effort into this new "brand" for said school and submitting my work, a new logo was passed and approved without my prior knowledge that was in fact not what I had been working on for months. After that, this become sort of a personal design project that I would continue and try to perfect, so here I am seeking some constructive criticism or compliments on that work so far. C&C, please! I will start off with the colors. The school's primary colors are Navy and Gold, with White as a third. The color in the small circle is meant to be a varying shade of the primary in order to be used in ways that enhance the look, but do not dominate it. I added Green as a color simply because, in my mind, gators are green in logos. It’s meant to be used throughout this "brand" in the same capacity that Ole Miss uses Powder Blue. The Colors The Logos This first logo is supposed to serve as the primary logo across the board. Above you see it in and on various color combinations. Yes, this is visually similar to Florida's walking gator in the fact that they are both Gators in letter-sweaters standing upright, but I tried to make it look a little more, for lack of a better word, amateur because it's meant for a high school team. The other plus to this logo is the opportunity to use the secondary colors (like Volt, Yellow, and Natural) in ways that I think enhance the overall look of the logo. Personally, this guy turned out to be one of my favorites. This second logo is one of the hardest and most thought out I can say I have ever done. This is the one that came from the request to create a "G" that is a gator in one. Design is a constant and ongoing process, and it took me a long time to finally get to this guy. The next evolution of the logo came with the creation of the above “Walking Gator” logo. I decided that if I was going to try and create this “brand” for the Gators, then the actual gator used should be implied as the same gator throughout. So as you will see, the gator head and face are the same in every logo, giving it what I think is a true “brand” look. Another logo used extremely often by teams nicknamed Gators is the Florida Gators primary logo, and like I said, this school was no exception. So again, that was the inspiration behind this logo. As you can see, it’s pretty self-explanatory, and like I said, all gators used in this “brand” are to be implied as the same gator. The next logo is one that had to evolve as I went as well. I’m unsure as to what I want to call it even to this point or what capacity it could be used, so we can just go with the “Gator Script” logo. This is the first logo that includes the whole “GAUTIER” word mark within it, and it is simply meant to resemble a gator as it stalks and swims at the top of the water. Using the last logo as an introduction point, these are the word mark logos for the “brand” in each color combination. The inspiration for these logos came early on in my time at the school when I noticed that the basketball team used a variation of the “flying” Lakers script on their gear. I always knew it was the Lakers design, but in my mind there was something that just screamed Gautier to me about it (maybe because that’s what I grew up seeing them wear when we played them), so I ran with it. As you can see, the font style used above is the same font style found on the Walking Gator’s sweater, the “Gator Script” logo, and the font that will be used in every piece of the Gautier “brand” to come. This next logo is what I call the tagline. I say that because in my head this logo was meant to serve as the main academic logo within the brand. The same way universities use their seal in the top left corner of postage and official academic documents. This is also a logo that sort of developed out of the “Gator Script” logo. The only changes are the implied presence of water under the gator, the loss of the outline, and the addition of “HIGH SCHOOL” at the bottom of the logo. That pretty much does it for the primary logos that make up the brand, so up next are some of the different variations of the above logos, and if this is well received, possibly uniforms, etc. Thanks for the time and the read!
  7. In an alternate universe the American Football League was never created, instead it was the Federal Football League. Established in 1960, the FFL was a 16 team league with 2 conferences. There was the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference. Eastern conference consisted of BOSTON ADMIRALS / BROOKLYN ISLANDERS / BUFFALO SCOUTS / HARTFORD COYOTES / CINCINNATI GENERALS / INDIANA MAVERICKS / MIAMI SHARKS / ORLANDO STINGRAYS. Western Conference consisted of COLORADO COMETS / HOUSTON WRANGLERS / KANSAS CITY WARRIORS / NASHVILLE RAMBLERS / LAS VEGAS OUTLAWS / LOS ANGELES TIGERS / OAKLAND PIRATES / UTAH YELLOWJACKETS. Federal Football League played 10 seasons (1960 - 1969). In 1970, the Federal Football League merged with the National Football League. This merger created the American Football league in 1970. The AFL consisted of 2 conferences. Federal Conference and National Conference. Federal Football League's 16 teams now made up the Federal Conference and the National Football League's 16 teams now made up the National Conference in the American Football League. In this universe the American Football League is the present day 32 team league (1970 - Present). Now back to the Federal Football League. Founded in 1960 with 16 teams, the Federal Football League was just as popular as the National Football League. Their title game was named the Champions Bowl. Here you can see each teams' logo, wordmark and helmet. Federal Football League Logo
  8. Hey guys! I'm back with another redesign concept. I had been wanting to do a football league overhaul, but I didn't want to do the NFL since there are already so many topics out there covering that, and I'm not sure I can really do any better So as I was looking for possible leagues to do, I came across the Chinese Arena Football League. This was a perfect fit for me, a relatively small, new league with terrible logos and less than stellar uniforms. Which essentially means I have a lot to work with and room to get my creative juices flowing. Anyways, I'm proud to present to you the new CAFL crest! Here is their current crest for comparison: I liked the overall shape of the shield, so I kept that. It almost reminds me of the NFL logo. I decided I wanted to make this more...Chinese? I don't think a red, yellow, blue scheme works well, so I just went for the colors of the Chinese flag, which in my opinion, is a beautiful color palette. I really wanted to keep the China theme here, so I put the country into the shield emblem. I kept the stars, but obviously made it look more like the flag. I had to include football somewhere, and I thought a silhouette would work better here. I've tested out the crest, and it looks really sharp when you put it in different team colors. Alright, so as you know there are six teams in the league. I will be doing teams in this order: Dalian Dragon Kings Beijing Lions Shenzhen Naja Guangzhou Power Qingdao Clipper Shanghai Skywalkers I will be doing logos and jerseys for each team. Maybe after I'm done with the main six, you can help me come up with ideas for expansion teams. Thanks for taking a look, and feedback is always appreciated I'll have the first team up here soon.

  13. Hello, I've been working on this design for quite a while and come up with a few different options. The trouble is I have no idea which one to go forward with? Would love to hear everyones feedback on the design they prefer and hopefully why that is (so that it will help in the future). Also love to hear any feedback on how to improve the logo in general. All feedback is very much appreciated!!! Thanks Phil FFD

  15. I'm in the mood for creating some soccer concepts for the upcoming season. First for Barca and Real.
  16. Here's another shot at football design. I took a stab at the Miami Dolphins, who have one of my favorite identities of any team out there. I took this as an excuse to play around with some new templates I stumbled upon, and I like them all a lot. Home Away Alternate Color Rush That's all! Thanks for reading all this!
  17. Didn't see a thread for this so I thought I would add one. A new spring football is starting this weekend simply called "The Spring League". They call it "an Instructional league and showcase for professional football talent" They are having practices right now and then just 6 games all right before the NFL draft. No word on how many teams yet or what the uniforms will look like. Game Dates: Game 1 – Saturday April 15 1:00pm EST Game 2 – Sunday April 16 2:00pm EST Game 3 – Saturday April 22 1:00pm EST Game 4 – Sunday April 23 1:00pm EST Game 5 – Tuesday April 25 1:00pm EST Game 6 – Wed. April 26 1:00pm EST
  18. This is a logo concept I've been thinking about lately. Not a fan of the team though, but feel free to look an comment. Not sure if I want to do uniforms in the future... Feel free to check out my Dribbble for more info.
  19. I am in the process of putting together a Las Vegas Raiders rebrand for when they relocate. I am just getting started with the uniforms, but I wanted to get feedback before I did the away uniforms and color rush uniforms. I am incorporating the famous welcome to las vegas sign as a major part of the rebrand. This will be their inaugural season patch and the star from the sign will be implemented throughout the set. As always C&C is greatly appreciated!
  20. Hey guys! This is my first post, but I've been lurking the forum from a long time. I'm an amateur graphic designer and I love to design team crests and logos for fun, so I've thought that I should make a concept/fantasy league myself! POLSKA SUPER LIGA (POLISH SUPER LEAGUE)
  21. Hi So as a Brit living here in the US I love the NFL, many at home love it too which is why we are certain to get a team in the near future especially since the NFL gave $125 million towards Tottenham Hotspurs new stadium. On that note when we do get a team what shall our name be? Colours look extra. I have had this discussion on here before and came to realize that although the natural conclusion is to go red white and blue for the national colours, on reflection too many teams in the NFL have this colour scheme. Thus for us to have a successful team we need to stand out and be unique. Another problem is most NFL UK have a team getting them to switch allegiances will be tough, however this will not happen if the team has London as its place name. Like how Boston Patriots became New England Patriots, we have to represent our whole island. Four Nations will unite us all around one team. when thinking of a symbol to unite us I looked no further than the British Bulldogs. I looked at all the teams and originally wanted to go with a ww1 British uniform colour however the colour was a bit too sickly green. Yet brown kept appearing during this period for uniforms and when I blended the dark red with the brown and silver I thought I had hit on something unique. The patch on the jersey I quickly through together but wanted the final design to have a patch that had a flower from each of the four countries in the Uk, English rose, Scottish thistle etc. The only problem i'm having is I have only just started graphic design and I'm not ready to make my own fonts yet. I really want to get tee shirts made of this concept so I can support the idera of us getting a team in the NFL but feel I need a great word mark to tie the brand together. Would any one on here be willing to make a word mark based of my idea that I could use? I would be so Grateful. Other than that let me know your thoughts on my concept, as I greatly value the community's opinion given how talented you all are. Thanks for taking the time to look
  22. This is my first time trying my hand at a logo redesign. I had this Ravens concept sketched up awhile ago, and just now felt comfortable enough to try it out in Inkscape. I'm sure there's something that could be upgraded or changed, so get that C&C rolling! Feedback much appreciated.
