  1. Last fall, I saw a concept on here about a Dolphins redesign, but his presentation was one I had never seen before. I honestly don't even remember the thread otherwise I would link it in here. The owner of the design implemented it into Madden 19 or 20, and that was a big reason for getting me into modding Madden on my PC. I learned photoshop basics, and learned how to import custom uniforms and fields into the game. This is one of the changes I will be making in the early 2020's of my Steelers franchise after the release of a franchise file with updated rosters (including draftees) and simmed through 2019. With an uncertain future in Jacksonville brewing for the last handful of years, the Jaguars sought a move abroad. Most assumed London would be the location for the Jaguars, but the NFL changed their mind at the eleventh hour behind the scenes, forcing the Jaguars to consider the homeland as well as other foreign sites. Oklahoma City, Monterrey, Mexico City, and even San Diego were tossed around. In the end, the Jags wanted an NFL-ready stadium, leaving San Diego and CDMX. The divisional set up made the most sense geographically for the team to choose the Mexican capital, and they did. Without further ado, I present to you the Mexico Jaguars, or Los Jaguares de Mexico. The logos aren't anything new but I added red eyes for the Jaguar, as Mexico is red and green. Here are the wordmarks, first in English" Y en español: The team has also revealed their fieldart for the upcoming season, The team has not announced a timeline for new uniforms at this time, but have updated their social media handle to reflect the move. Let me know your thoughts. I know this isn't some crazy detailed redesign, but I'm proud that I've even gotten to this point with my graphic work.
  2. I've done many "Vintage Style College Mascots" and as the NFL season gets started I was thinking of what their logos/mascots might look like if they had been created in the style of Arthur Evans. I don't plan on directly using any mascot/logo looks (college or NFL) that are already out there (example: using Pistol Pete for the Dallas Cowboys). However, I may take inspiration from bits or pieces of them. Over the next few weeks/months I'll be adding my newest iterations, please let me know what you think with your comments and/or likes. First up: Minnesota Vikings
  3. I finally decided to post my Minnesota Vikings concept that I made in January. The concept is based on the idea that there is a home/away set, color rush, and a throwback alternate. I based the main set on the vikings current uniforms while also implementing the concept drawings by Hubenthal. I used the current Vikings font but without the serifs, added a white facemask, and tweaked the horn logo slightly. For the color rush uniform I decided to base it on the all white uniforms the vikings wore from 1969-1995 with the UCLA stripes. I based the alternate/throwback on the 1965 uniform set, where the numbers are outlined and the stocks dont have stripes.
  4. Arizona Cardinals Logo Concept: Hey everyone, I'm working on updating the Arizona Cardinals brand (logo, colors, typefaces, uniforms, social graphics) and I thought it would be a good idea to include others in the design process with me. I'm starting this rebrand with the primary logo. Weaknesses of the current logo: - Goofy/cartoony - Visually dark - Large points on the bottom fighting the direction of the logo What I like about my redesign: - More energetic and sharp shape - Brighter colors that make the bird easier to distinguish - Less personified - More accurate representation of a Northern cardinal I'd love to hear your thoughts about what I have so far!
  5. I decided to get a concept going (like so many others) for the LA Rams. I used the vintage look from 51-82 as a starting point and used some reference images of bighorn sheep (even though the vintage look seems more like a domestic sheep). Just done in pencil for now, digital to come later.
  6. I'm not a fan of our classic logo like a lot of other people seem to be, so I tried my best to touch up some of the problems I had with the old one. It's kind of an amalgam of both Falcons logos. I also did two versions:
  7. I was brousing the net while working@home during this COVID 19 crazyness. And I saw a drawing of what the fleld for the new LA Rams field might look like. So I drew it up. Let me know what yout think!
  8. Hi. I'm here to fix the NFL's uniforms. Nike has taken over and left us with some bad designs, and theres a few nagging things out there that have just held on, simply because people never bothered to fix them. I'm here to tweak (Maybe overhaul) the NFL's uniforms. Rules I gave myself for this: - One helmet shell, but facemasks and decals can change - Not changing any logos or colors, just uniforms - Color Rush is not mandatory, some teams will have them, some teams won't. - Ignoring the 3 year helmet, 5 year jersey change rule - Not really going in any order, might not even do all 32 - Colors were taken from the logos themselves or from teamcolorcodes.com (yes the colts are still royal blue I just used their digital color) - Yes they were done in Paint so they're not the *cleanest* but I did my best. - Assume mixing and matching is allowed, I won't show *all* combinations but can show one if requested - Moving Nike patch to chest across all teams I'll start off with 2, since my first (Colts) is very simple. Biggest changes are White Mask, number font, and stripe consistency. Next up, the LA Chargers. It's obvious they're getting new uniforms. Went bold on the Whites, Navy is the Color Rush alternate. Kept the Agency-esque font Any comments and criticism is welcomed!
  9. Hi all, With the conclusion of the 2019 NFL season, I thought now would be a cool time to do a fixer-upper series, fixing all 32 NFL brands and uniform sets, from small changes to complete re-brandings. I will be explaining each change I make for each set. No set will be left untouched, even the classics. I will be doing this series in reverse standings order because I feel like it. Without further ado, lets get the series started off with the Super Bowl Champs... Kansas City Chiefs: The biggest change comes in the logo, in which I removed the out-of-place black that has no place in the team's uniform set and replaced it with the team's much more poppy yellow. While I left the amazing and classic uniform mostly untouched (outside of the obvious logo change in the helmet), I did make a minor alteration that makes the uniform cleaner. Instead of the rather obtrusive Lamar Hunt/AFL patch that has been on the front of the Chiefs uniforms for about a decade now, I had the team move Mr. Hunt to the left sleeve, following the suit of the Bears, Lions, and (formerly) the Browns. I wanted the team to honor the owner, but in a more unobtrusive way, thus I feel the sleeve logo (shown) is a better way to clean up the uniform and keep Mr. Hunt's name on the uniform. San Francisco 49ers: The biggest change to the Niners set was the removal of black from the logo, which I felt was black for black's sake and, like the chiefs, is not featured on the uniforms. I feel it simplifies the primary. Additionally, I brought back an altered version of the team's old Art Deco-inspired shield secondary logo, with fixes to the spacing and the replacement of the football in the top right corner with the team's 5 rings. Uniform-wise, outside of the logo change on the helmet, I decided to throw part of the uniform back to the 90s with a gold drop shadow behind the numbers to further add gold to the iconic uniform without soiling it. Tennessee Titans: This is a set where I did not change much to the logos themselves, but the uniforms received drastic changes. The Titans' current set is one of the most disliked in the league, mostly due to its corniness and over-complexity. Thus, the first step in my uniform change was removing the atrocious "sword" shoulder design, keeping it color consistent instead. Next, I re-added the cool secondary logo to the sleeves after they were removed in 2018. The next step was to fix the numbers. I liked the idea, but the numbers looked far too awkward. Thus, I noticeably altered and strengthened the numbers to stand out more prominently and not look starved to death. Furthermore, I reintegrated red into the uniform by making it a secondary outline to the numbers on each uniform, fitting in with the designs of the two logos. Finally, the helmet remains navy, as I felt it fit the set best, but the face-mask is now the Titans/Oilers powder blue, while the stripe is a blend of the design of the modern stripe on the first Titans helmet and the old traditional stripe on the Oilers helmet. Green Bay Packers: This classic identity receives very minimal changes from me. However, I did brighten up the green for the Pack, making the uniforms and logo pop a bit more. Additionally, I added a white border around the logo on the helmet to better match the style of the primary logo and altered the color of the face-mask and added a stripe on the third uniform (helmet rules aside). The only major change was the addition of a new secondary logo, which is a refreshed and updated version of the team's original logo. CC is obviously welcome. Next up will be the Ravens, Texans, Seahawks, and Vikings!
  10. Hey there! Were you disappointed in an unexciting Super Bowl culminating in the Evil Empire hoisting yet another Lombardi Trophy? Need a bigger fix of football and the AAF isn't doing the trick? Want to see someone display marginal design skills and creativity through a cavalcade of slightly altered striping patterns, new fonts, and superfluous recolors before inevitably burning out and stopping 2/3 of the way through the league? Then you have come to the right place! In the posts that follow, you will see my staid re-imaginings of the National Football League, starting, as nearly every one of these threads does, with the Arizona Cardinals, because that's how the alphabet works. ARIZONA CARDINALS The one distinctive trait of their uniforms during their time in the Copper State has been the incorporation of the state flag on the sleeves from the late 90s to mid 00s, so that's the main source of inspiration. The team colors are altered to reflect this (bye-bye black) and a red facemask replaces the gray one of yore, removing yet another extraneous color from the Cardinals colorway. The uniforms fit the flag onto the sleeve caps, and the solitary angular stripe on the pants carries from the flag as well. The alternate also draws heavily from the flag. Other than that, the red pants are back (only to be used with the white jersey), and a new number font accompanies these changes. Let me know which team you want to see next. I welcome your feedback.
  11. Here's a new concept I'm doing. I'm sick of the bad uniform matchups this season. So I've decided to take it into my own hands. Concepts are in no particular order, although I will probably be doing the worst uniforms sooner than later. I will be using an edited version of @oldschoolvikings fantastic template. Without further ado, the first team up are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers! Hope y'all enjoy!

Recently I have gone back and tried to refine each field to be as exact as possible, and its still a work in progress. I got the idea to start posting them after seeing kodrinsky's NBA court database and I thought it would be a good way to get some feedback and some help pointing out any inaccuracies in what I have so far. So, as I've said before, I want to be as exact as possible, so if anyone sees something inaccurate please let me know by either posting a picture or a link to a video that can help me out. It could be something as small as color, number font, or even the width of the lines on the field. Anything will help. I guess I'll start with Super Bowl I Super Bowl I: January 15, 1967. Fix the Bucs

Here is my version of an update to the Bucs uniforms. A direction that combines traditional and modern concepts that embraces the historical Bucs looks with some adjustments that are consistent with the current branding. No more glowing alarm clock numbers, pewter shoulders or over-sized logos. Hope you enjoy!, Nate Red Combos White Combos Alternates (In compliance with NFL helmet rule)
  14. NFL season starts on Thursday night with the Packers playing the Bears. With that in mind, it's time to open up this season's Weekly Picks competition. I don't need to explain the rules*; this is my fifth season doing this (still can't believe that it seems like just yesterday when I took over the competition; time flies), so you guys know how I do it by now. Good luck to everyone here, and good luck to your teams, except for you guys in the NFC South who will all be fighting for playoff spots that the Bucs won't be fighting for. Week 1: Green Bay vs. Chicago Kansas City vs. Jacksonville Atlanta vs. Minnesota Tennessee vs. Cleveland Buffalo vs. NY Jets Baltimore vs. Miami Washington vs. Philadelphia LA Rams vs. Carolina Indianapolis vs. LA Chargers Cincinnati vs. Seattle NY Giants vs. Dallas San Francisco vs. Tampa Bay Detroit vs. Arizona Pittsburgh vs. New England Houston vs. New Orleans Denver vs. Oakland I try to have the standings updated by about noon on Tuesday at the latest. That's the standard I adopted in 2017 and have stuck with. It can be earlier than that as well, depending on various circumstances, but they should be submitted no later than that point. If I'm going to be out-of-town early in a week and that deadline might be untenable, I'll make a note of it ahead of time. Thankfully, it doesn't appear I'll be displaced by a hurricane during the first weekend of the season this time around. Wasn't much fun last year, though compared to most people I know I had it much better than they did. -- *I lied. One rules reminder: Picks for the specific games are to be in by the kickoff of those respective games. I do believe in the honor system with this game. People here have lives, things get forgotten about, sometimes a game might accidentally be forgotten to be selected out of the vast Sunday swath (though I'm hoping to amend that a bit if I post the week's schedule in advance). If a game is forgotten about, you can send a DM or send me a tweet (@KramerIndustry) and, more often than not, I will be generous enough to give credit. If Cleveland is facing New England and NE wins and you forget to make that pick, then I'll logically presume NE would've been the pick and give the nod (do they even play each other this year? Who cares) (EDIT: It took several years to happen but that's finally a bad example, but you get the idea all the same). All I will ask is not to abuse this, is all.
  15. Congratulations to the Chiefs on claiming their first Lombardi Trophy in 50 years. With the NFL's 100th season now officially behind us, we begin the league's second century with the question: "Can the Chiefs repeat?" They will have their eyes set on Tampa Florida as that is the location of Super Bowl LV next year. Here is the logo I made for the event; I was going for a "Super Bowl Yacht Club" theme. Let me know what you think. Appreciate the feedback!
  16. If ever there was a team that was in need of a rebrand, it's the Cleveland Browns! I mean...their primary logo is the generic NFL helmet icon from the 70s. With this design I suggest the unthinkable, by adorning the actual helmet with a logo. This is an evolution of an existing secondary logo the team uses. But reworking the 'B' to house a 'C' making it distinct to Cleveland, as there a are many teams that use a letter B across all sports. The stripes are a nod to the helmet stripe of the past, giving it a link to the proud history the team.
  17. I’m tired of seeing the same logo for the Pro Bowl. But now I made this Logo
  18. So, after watching the game last night, it occurred to me that the Atlanta Falcons have some untapped potential with their identity, and could actually look really good. Any and all feedback welcome! Here's my fix starting with logo: Falcons Logo Concept by HuntTheJones (Based on the combination of the Throwback Logo & Current Logo) So the first is obvious. Take the old logo that's still so popular among the fanbase (at least the ones I know) and the current logo (which I think is actually pretty good) and combine them for a modernized version to make everyone happy. Up next, turf design: Falcons Turf Concept for Mercedes-Benz Stadium Last night made it clear that the throwback turf design is the look Atlanta needs. That said, there is nothing wrong with the current font style they have. So, sticking with the theme of the logo, find a happy medium. Up next, helmet design: Falcons Helmet Concept Nice and simple, just like the helmet they already have. A gloss black shell with nothing but the new logo on each side gets the job done. Up next, uniform design: Black Home Primary White Road Primary Red Home Alternate This is my favorite part. The basis is that each design is based on the throwback worn last night. Their current design is outdated, and nothing stands the test of time like the classic. So, put the current number font, new logo on the sleeves, and "ATLANTA" in small block on the chest. Keep the same pants design as well, just make the primary the old school silver. Rotate white and all black in the mix so you never get stale. Black jersey becomes primary Home, White jersey goes back to Black numbers, & Red jersey becomes alternate. C&C welcome!
  19. Watching the Seahawks in the playoffs this year, I've decided that I really like their color scheme. Even the neon green looks good in some applications. In particular, it was Pete Carroll's hoodie. And the way the colors work in light. But the logo itself doesn't work for me at all. It's bland and boring, and the gray and white blend together at distance. The original version of this logo was a lot better, with the second shade of blue. But when it was re-colored in 2012, I think they fumbled. Just not enough contrast. I got to thinking what the logo would look like with more green. Not necessarily one-color green, like Pete's jacket above, but just a little more. So I gave the lower stripe back its verdant beauty, and replaced the white for their silver/gray for good measure. Not an earth-shattering change, but to my eye, this works a lot better, and fits better with their history to boot. Your thoughts?
  20. As a kid, I once rented an NES game that had all 28 at the time NFL teams, and their helmet logos, and actual players. I forgot the name of that game (Tecmo Super Bowl) until college. Lately I’ve been learning more about Tecmo Super Bowl and found it interesting that they could manage to be as accurate as they were given the technological limitations of working in 8-bit programming, especially when the helmet was automatically the same color as the pants. I also find it interesting that approximately half the NFL teams have alternate uniforms in this game, presumably to avoid clashes. There really was a great deal of attention and effort put in. Anyway, I’m meaning for this thread to serve as a piggyback from this excellent thread on a Tecmo forum: https://tecmobowl.org/forums/topic/52933-tecmo-super-bowl-uniforms-nes/ The Tecmo thread is good but leaves out a few alternates plus doesn’t show pictures of the various uniforms in action. Now we can play the game on our phones and computers and take screenshots, so I think it would be nice to visually catalogue the various uniforms used in this impressive game. I should be able to post a lot of them in the coming days if anyone can tell me what the preferred image-hosting site is these days. Also, if a mod wants to move this to a different forum, I don’t object. I'll show images of all the uniforms a given team wears in the game, and also give a brief description of the team itself in TSB. All uniforms are described as (helmet-jersey-pants). For instance, the Colts are white-blue-white.
  21. Over the past 17 weeks, I have been changing up each NFL match up. Using a simple equation I made up, I have redesigned the uniform matchups to something a little more realistic, and usually better on the eyes. My simple program goes like this: I go through the Gridiron Uniform Database, studying the uniform patterns over the last few years for each team. My main focus is the one question, "What will the team normally wear at this time period?" I then check through the uniforms a team has worn in a couple week scan, and find the best one that suits the match up of the day. Rules: Must be in the current uniforms Must be realistic enough One helmet rule applies White vs color through every game (only 3 games break this rule) 3 games in alternate uniforms max (only Baltimore breaks this rule with 4) Up to 4 different jerseys in one season (Home, Away, Alt 1, Color Rush) Note: This is heavily inspired by @DNAsports series, thanks to him I'd first like to start with all the combinations used for each team! 22. Hello! I just want to start a concept topic about a mashup of logos of the franchises from each city. The result will be a logo for each city (in NY and LA two logos) representing the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL and MLS teams. So, this is the first one: Los Angeles (part I). -City: Los Angeles -Colours: Los Angeles Lakers colours (purple (#552583 ) and gold (#fdb927) -LA letters from the Los Angeles Lakers jersey logo -Ram head from the Los Angeles Rams logo -'Los Angeles' name from the Los Angeles Dodgers jersey logo -Baseball from the Los Angeles Dodgers logo -Crown from the Los Angeles Kings logo -Shape from the LA Galaxy logo Thank you for your time here.
  23. When I was in my early teens, my parents bought me NCAA Football 98 for the computer. I really enjoyed the game, and it was very well-designed for the most part: 100+ schools; full-season play with rankings, major bowl games, and major awards; school fight songs; decent playbooks; something approximating logos on the helmets. It was a very good game for the late 1990s---not as good as the Football Pro series overall, but distinctly collegiate and lots of fun. Anyway, despite the overall quality, there were two details that I have since learned were wrong. One, LSU by default wears yellow jerseys over white pants at home in that game. Two, Missouri's colors are green and gold in the game instead of black and gold. (Come to think of it, I think the latter was also the case in that college hoops game for the Super Nintendo even earlier.) I was wondering: have you guys and gals noticed any similar errors in other games? (Incidentally, Football Pro 98 has the Eagles wearing kelly-green-and-gray even though they were in their second season with their current and inferior color scheme.)
  24. I saw there was a thread about Tampa Bay Bucs possibly getting new unis for the 2020 NFL season. Here are some markups I did. I kept the Retro unis pretty straightforward, but combined the 2 looks with the Retro & the early 2000's. Please give me any feedback you may have.
  25. Making a separate thread for discussion of face mask color and preference for teams. Unpopular opinion: The Browns look best with a brown face mask.
