  1. If mods want to move posts from the 2016 regular season thread into here, that's fine. OR NOT, DO WHAT YOU WANT COACHES DENVER: Adam Schefter has reported that Kubiak is potentially stepping down as the Broncos head coach. No confirmation but if he says it, it's inevitable. Says it's for health reasons, but other reports say that Elway is more to blame. SAN DIEGO: Chargers will fire Mike McCoy within a day or two; they will move to Los Angeles and rebrand. JACKSONVILLE: Jaguars fired Gus Bradley and appear to be on the fast track to hiring Tom Coughlin again, but who knows. CHICAGO: Rapaport confirms Bears won't fire John Fox and most of his staff is expected to return, including defensive coordinator Vic Fangio. NEW YAWK: Jets appear to be keeping Bowles but he'll make sweeping changes to his staff, likely including OC Chan Gailey getting canned. CLEVELAND: Browns aren't expected to make big changes (for a change!) but the coaches will apparently grovel to ownership about big changes to the personnel department in management. CINCY: Bengals will not fire Marvin Lewis (shocking!) but no extension is planned. SANTA CLARA: The 49ers fired Chip Kelly and GM Trent Balke, because that's what Browns West does. DETROIT: Apparently the Lions will fire all these bastards and go after Patriots coaches heavily if team loses division to Packers tonight. Hottest coordinators available will likely be Tom Coughlin, Kyle Shanahan, Jon Gruden, Patriots coordinators Matt Patricia & Josh McDaniels, Jim Bob Cooter Hootnanny Weiner Poop, Mike Smith, and God knows who else. FREE AGENTS, DRAFT, AND ALL THAT CRAP Tony Romo and Jimmy Garoppolo will be the veteran QBs of note shifting around the league. Eric Berry, Alshon Jeffery, some others who I don't feel like researching could hit the market and get huge money. How many QBs with late 1st round or later grades will irrationally go in the top 5 of the draft because OMG WE NEED QBS?
  2. I made this for my random football series. It's in SVG. Socks are from ADW77's old Elite 51 template. If there's anything I missed, let me know. http://www.mediafire.com/file/9hxlclmclhbnq84/Vapor+Untouchable+NFL.svg
  3. This is a real uniform the Steelers play off-season basketball in. They're playing the Pitt Panthers soon...
  4. The Packers are creating a year-round destination campus they're calling the "Titletown District". And today they unveiled the logo: Ugh. Not cool at all. That's embarrassing.
  5. What bothered me most of all was the image searches on google. Seems to me there were a lot of mistakes and images that were either where I didn't see metallic silver blue or pewter colored ones, but from these two images maybe we can discuss some what if and should of from the 1970's NFL all the way til now. I am dabbling with designs myself on uniforms, but I need to get some private free time as there is many nosy people where I live at. Here is the images, The first one seems to have everything, even Denver Blue(?)??!!! Well I see extra bright metallic silver, but I do not see metallic silver blue. I seen sunflower gold which is used for ASU or maybe, not sure. But this is pretty interesting that I do not see dark teal or what we call midnight green helmets which those are more in the dark green shell category. I wonder if the Philadelphia Eagles use dark green helmets instead then. I see metallic burnt orange, but the one next to it seems too much like safety orange than burnt orange to me. Then there is Oakland silver which looks darker than silver. Hmmm, I am curious as to what your preferences or your thoughts on this as to I am kind of wondering or confused with the idea of two versions which the second being a metallic version of it! Then I see this!!! Well, there are 25 shell colors. This time I see the Dallas blue one, but for some reason there is the face guard colors. I see there is even a cardinal version or scarlet version which doesn't look scarlet, but more like cardinal to me. I felt the Arizona Cardinals should of did this and ditch the grey facemask. But the grey is a standard as it's code number is 01. I see that the standard number on white looks like 08 as a number code for the shell and facemask. Here is where this one comes from, This is from xenith-helmet-colors and the search from it. I noticed the athletic gold seems darker on the image which is probably the lighting mistake or perhaps. But it's correct compared to the standard paint colors. Kansas Blue should of been the choice for Denver, Los Angeles, and New York Giants from 1968, 1973, and 1976 or 1980 respectfully. But I can see why they didn't use it as the name Kansas Blue was a problem from the teams to use either way. Columbia Blue, oh I know UNC uses that. I know Michigan State uses kelly green shells. And South Bend Gold, on that's pure Notre Dame alright. Well, this one seems to have some but most. I guess if color werx takes a look at this, I would be charmed to see if he can come up with some ideas to use his palettes and we can pull out some sources. Here is my conclusion. I guess by 2000, the Raiders made their silver darker and made it trademarked to their uniform and identity. I know Tampa Bay did that with pewter. Everyone knows University of Kansas and their blue which matches the jerseys that they wear that is the same color jerseys the 1973-1999 Rams and the 1980-1999 Giants have or had which makes me wonder that the Giants went with metallic royal blue in 2000 which was a smart idea whilst the Rams did the opposite and utilized navy blue and then change the athletic gold to vegas gold which vegas gold is much more drab than that of old gold which you all see in these two of three images. Nike seem to have a problem creating old gold as to why I do not see the Saints throwbacks until the color rush uniforms make a identified version of it but from their 1975 years where they still wore white pants. Now, San Francisco has their own version of gold which is totally different from the other ones, Gee, I wonder why they went to all that trouble. Well, I wonder what is your conclusion to this?
  6. I've been having a hard time finding the NFL playoffs logos from '96-'99, but I've found some sources to start recreating them the best I can. I was able to get the divisional playoffs logos from these game programs: Here is my best recreation of these The Wild Card and Conference championship logos have some similar properties, but are quite different. If anyone has some higher quality versions of these logos, I'd certainly want to see them. Either way, I'll do my best to recreate these so I can recreate some old playoffs fields.
  7. In no order, here are my Top 10: 1999 Jaguars - Lost to no one but the Titans in either the regular season or the postseason. 1998 Vikings - Points. Lots of points. 1987 Saints - Dome Patrol at their peak, but a wild-card entry because of... 1987 49ers - 13-2 but lost to Minnesota somehow. 1996 Broncos - Sadly, their playoff loss to Jacksonville was their last game before the uniform change. 1985 Dolphins - They still had a very formidable offense the year after Marino set all those records. 2011 Packers - 15-1, but when the Giants are hot you don't get in their way... 1979 Chargers - At 12-4, the best record of Fouts' career. Unlike many other Charger teams from that era, this one actually had a defense too. 1975 Cardinals - Another Coryell team that didn't produce in the playoffs. Amazingly, their 11-3 record was the worst of the NFC's division winners that season, behind the Vikings and the... 1975 Rams - 9.6 points allowed per game. Beat the Cardinals in the playoffs but got trounced by the Cowboys in the NFC title game. Bonus: 2004 Steelers - Sorry, but these guys weren't as good as their 15-1 record would seem to indicate. Honorable Mention: 1975 Vikings- Upset by Dallas in the divisional round, but they went to several other Super Bowls in the same time period. Their big thing was not being able to win the Super Bowl, rather than not being able to get there...not only are the Vikings 0-4 all-time in the Super Bowl, but they haven't even held a lead or scored a first-half Super Bowl point...ever.
  8. Just a quick stress relieving exercise and a logo update to match the teams other various branding. Nothing special here
  9. Lets get this started as the introductions get going: Not official numbers yet: Deshaun Watson #4 Mitch Trubisky (not official #) Solomon Thomas & Reuban Foster (not official #) Leonard Fournette #27
  10. I made a Dallas Cowboys uniforms that make them look unique and entertaining. introducing the Elite Dallas Cowboys Uniforms. So what i did was found some designs on the internet trying to figure out what designs to use on the uniform well here is what i did. 1: i use the double Star design on the shoulders adding the numbers and the Nike logo to make it look good 2: the pants design is too boring so i added a design that will make it look unique. 3: i added the design from captain america so it represents Americas team. 4: i added a side design on the jersey so it looked nice. 5: the helmet has a bigger star and instead of a line i added a sharp spike to make it look good. here is a show case of the uniforms Uniform Template Photo Realistic
  11. Hey, I find the Giants current uniforms to be, while classic, rather bland. So, I decided to revamp the uniforms: Both uniforms are based on the 1980s-90s Giants uniforms with a few changes: 1) The white pants currently on the Giants alternate home uniform will be implemented on the new unifoms 2) The socks on the away uniform will be red 3) An all-new, matte finished helmet with the "NY" logo featuring a new red border and new blue Lemme know what y'all think and provide suggestions!
  12. In this series I will be re-branding all 32 NFL Team's uniforms with either Nike (Mach Speed, Pro Combat, Vapor Untouchable), Adidas (Techfit 2016), or Under Armour (Diablo). Nike/Jordan Carolina Panthers New York Jets Adidas Tampa Bay Buccaneers Minnesota Vikings New Orleans Saints Under Armour Las Vegas Raiders Atlanta Falcons Leave comments and requests of what team with what brand/template you want.
  13. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [COMPLETED] Arizona Cardinals Atlanta Falcons Baltimore Ravens Buffalo Bills Carolina Panthers Chicago Bears Cincinnati Bengals Cleveland Browns Dallas Cowboys Denver Broncos Detroit Lions Green Bay Packers Houston Texans Indianapolis Colts ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Arizona Cardinals I tried to simplify their overly modern yet dated look. I went with a starburst pattern on the sleeve from the flag of Arizona. I know I'm not the first person to do this, but I think it is a nice homage to the flag on their sleeve from their past jerseys. I replaced the dated-looking gray facemask with a new white one to streamline the look. I'm not a huge fan of the black jersey, but I included it because at least they have black in their color scheme. I included a fauxback based off of the 1925 Chicago Cardinals NFL Championship season.
  14. Hey, guys! I got a little bored with the NHL to NFL crossover I've been doing, so I decided to take a break from it (I only have 3 teams left, so I'll finish it some time soon). I've never done a basketball concept, so I decided to do yet another crossover, but this time NFL-to-NBA. Finished teams: NFC South Atlanta Falcons Carolina Panthers New Orleans Saints Tampa Bay Buccaneers AFC East Buffalo Bills Miami Dolphins New England Patriots New York Jets NFC West Arizona Cardinals Los Angeles Rams Seattle Seahawks San Francisco 49ers NFC North Chicago Bears ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- First up is my home team, the New Orleans Saints. I decided to keep this one fairly simple, with nothing too flashy. Same colors, same number and NOB font as the football jerseys. I'm sure some of the other teams will allow for more flashy designs, if that's what you're looking for. Oh, and for the No. of championships tag on the collar, I'm putting how many Super Bowls they've won, instead of having them all say 0x. But nonetheless, here are the simple Saints home/away sets:
  15. Here's another shot at football design. I took a stab at the Miami Dolphins, who have one of my favorite identities of any team out there. I took this as an excuse to play around with some new templates I stumbled upon, and I like them all a lot. Home Away Alternate Color Rush That's all! Thanks for reading all this!
  16. After studying the leaked photo from the Lions, I came up with the following. I hope they don't over embellish the number font like the Lions current uniforms or the Vikings. And it looks like they might have chrome face masks. At least I hope so. I feel the helmet would be too similar to the Cowboys if they went with a grey face mask.
  17. This is a logo concept I've been thinking about lately. Not a fan of the team though, but feel free to look an comment. Not sure if I want to do uniforms in the future... Feel free to check out my Dribbble for more info.
  18. I am in the process of putting together a Las Vegas Raiders rebrand for when they relocate. I am just getting started with the uniforms, but I wanted to get feedback before I did the away uniforms and color rush uniforms. I am incorporating the famous welcome to las vegas sign as a major part of the rebrand. This will be their inaugural season patch and the star from the sign will be implemented throughout the set. As always C&C is greatly appreciated!
  19. For quite some time now, I've had an idea for the NFL that I'm finally bringing to life in a series. I think I'm in the majority in saying that most of these NFL Color Rush uniforms are just hard on the eyes (putting it kindly). So instead of Thursday night games being Color Rush, let's have Throwback Thursday. The idea is to gain interest from all targets. It's a fairly new, trendy term that appeals to the young market, however it also reaches the older population in that teams can bring back some classic looks (i.e. Oilers, Orange Crush Broncos, etc). Not to mention it would just give the NFL more jerseys to put on the shelves. I think it could really be a hit. Parameters for this project are as follows. I'll be creating a dark set and a light set (home/away) for each team. Some teams may have just a plain retro look they've used in the past and some I will be putting a twist on. NFL one helmet rule is out the window (teams will be allowed to use a shell that is different from their primary). I'll most likely be going in alphabetical order unless someone has a suggestion they'd like me to bump up. Now, I haven't had much time as of late to creating concepts, so I can't promise I'll be pumping these out super fast. Anyway, as always, C&C is appreciated. Enjoy! Arizona Cardinals (1/32) First up, Arizona. For the most part the Cardinals have had a pretty plain past. I didn't want to go too hog wild on this one. Plain reds for the home and white for the away. Alternating pant colors with double striping. Helmets are white with the original logo and features the classic gray facemask. Also reverted back to more of the brick color red.
  20. I've been trying to branch out into more sports than just hockey, such as soccer, and now football. Here is my first ever football uniform, made for the New York Jets. I tried to combine their past green with their current darker green to make a nice blend of past and present. Thoughts?
  21. Im learning how to do jersey swaps on photoshop so i thought to practice id do my own mock draft and put the players in the uniforms that i think theyll be playing in next year. I know theyre a bit rough in places but its the first time ive tried doing this Myles Garrett Pick 1 Malik Hooker Pick 5 Reuben Foster Pick 9
  22. Hey, everyone. I just started following soccer this year and this "new" sport (to me) inspired me to do a brand new project: NFL Soccer Crossovers. I just finished the last one so I'm excited to see what you all think of it. When I first started this project, I wanted to do more than simply re-create NFL uniforms on a soccer template. I thought, "if these teams actually WERE in, say, Premier League, what would they look like". I tried to meld the soccer look/feel with their NFL counterpart. Elements from the original team exist, but within new boundaries. Some teams will stay traditional; some you may not expect, but I went crazy with them. Most teams I chose a location that fits more within a Premier League style (ex.: Washington Redskins become Washington FC) and all will have main kit sponsors. Most of the sponsors are the same as the stadium sponsor with a few exceptions. Also in this crossover world, Nike still has their full-league deal that they have with the current NFL. So let's get this started. Below is the order I'll unveil these in, updated every two days (for the mods reading this thread). AFC East: Buffalo Miami Town New York City Premier New England NFC East: Dallas New York United Philadelphia Washington FC AFC North: Cincinnati CP Browns Pittsbrough Ravens NFC North: Detroit United FC Chicago Green Bay Twin Cities AFC South: FC Jacksonville Houston Sporting Indianapolis Titans Athletic NFC South: Atlanta Charlotte City New Orleans Tampa Bay AFC West: Alameda County Denver FCLA Chargers Kansas City NFC West: Atletico Los Angeles Emerald City Phoenix San Francisco AC
  23. So, happy holidays, New Year and all that to you guys. I've been stuck behind a designer's block if you will, and haven't been able to figure out a good design to make and post. Then I decided to take a look at who needs new uniforms in the NFL, and the Broncos came to mind. The Broncos Color Rush uniforms were far and away one of the best, and it's too good a look to ignore. The all orange was a little overwhelming, but can be worked with as you see above to create a good looking set. -Basically took the Color Rush and stretched it into a uniform set. -Used the current logo instead of the D logo. -Socks have stripes on them now. -Navy alternate. C&C on these. I might do a few more of these if this takes off.
  24. Here are the logos I found on one of my NFL DVDs called "Greatest Moments In Super Bowl History" of Super Bowl I and II. I personally think they are rare but that's my opinion. Here they are for everyone to enjoy, sorry for the quality I had to take it off my TV from my cell phone.
