  1. Decided to rebrand the Browns since they've been horrible since coming back into league in 1999. I think this will give them a fresh start that they desperately need. Went with brown helmets for a few reasons: To get away from looking like Cincinnati's twin and a team named the Browns should be embrace the color. Added grey to the colors because it seems to be the cool thing to do these days and it also works well with the orange and brown. Wanted the set to be modern but with a classic feel. C&C appreciated.
  2. After getting a little bored and thinking of teams in more sports than hockey that needed an update, I decided on the Colorado Rockies. I'm not sure about you guys, but from the moment I really started to really started to look at the Rockies' logo, I realized it was just crap. The font was outdated and just looked bad, and it was an odd mashup of wordmark and logo that just doesn't work. However, I tried to redo that while maintaining some of the logo's best aspects, and adding some new mountains and double purple. My goal for the redesigned Rockies was to be mostly black-free to create a more colorful and unique identity. Here is my initial product. With the primary logo, it is what I wanted it to be; a more simple, more purple, updated version of their current logo. I completely redid the mountains, which was my goal, as well as refined the shape and introduced a new font. However, when I look at the area under the mountains and around the "Colorado", something looks off. I can't put my finger on it, and I'd love if one of you guys could help me out. Here's a secondary logo I made pretty quickly. Not a ton to say, just a recolored Colorado flag 'C'. It'd make a good cap logo. In addition, I had some spare time and decided to photoshop my logo where the huge Rockies logo sign is at Coors Field. I was going to make jerseys, but I need to get more ideas and actually figure out how to make a good baseball jersey. What are your thoughts?
  3. I posted this on my Behance, but I felt like I should post it here too! One of my least favorite brands in the MLB is the Seattle Mariners. I feel like their current brand is too cluttered with outlines, and doesn't represent a bold identity. This concept stems from an idea I've had for a while, adopt the color scheme the other pro teams in Seattle use. I was going for a bold refresh of a past identity, similar to the Houston Astros.
  4. Had this concept completed for a while but never added color to it until now due to other concepts I got into. Here's a Whaler to represent the Hartford Whalers. Please don't compare him to the Islanders Fisherman logo (which I happened to love by the way) Also look for the upside down whale tail in the logo on his hat as a nod to the original logo. What do you all think? Comments and critique wanted.
  5. Back when I was a college student in 2011, I made a hybrid T-Wolves logo that combined the original logo with the current one. Yesterday, I finally decided to re-make it with improved bezier curves. This is the original image from 2011 (that quite few people have stolen and claimed to be their own logo over the years...but I digress...): And here's the new one with different color scheme and backgrounds/borders: Lastly (for now) here's one I just whipped up that I don't feel that good about...but it's a direction I'd like to explore more: Thoughts? I know the actual re-brand will likely alter things to a much greater degree...but I'm going to at least enter this into ESPN's contest. Just don't know which one yet.

    NBA rebrand

Hi lads, I've been working for days on few NBA teams, give me your feedbacks! https://www.behance.net/SidneyN-F
  7. Very impressive. http://www.creativereview.co.uk/cr-blog/2016/july/pentagram-designs-new-logo-and-identity-sytem-for-mastercard/
  8. I just created these Utah Jazz Jersey Designs to go with there new logos. I am aware that there are already official Jerseys, but this is what I wish Utah chooses to wear if they decide to redesign. Tell me your thoughs?
  9. Hey folks! In this thread, I wanted to bring back one of the Capital's unused logos with a modern twist. The logo wasn't horrible, but I knew it could be better. I decided to change a lot of things... Secondary/alternate logos, jerseys, and much more coming soon. However, I'd like to hear an opinion from you guys about this logo before I do that, so C&C is much appreciated.
  10. I'm starting a new series in which I'll remake and rebrand some logos of current restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, etc... Starting with: Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store/Burger Restaurant - Founded in Oklahoma City and mostly seen around Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and North Texas, this restaurant was built on ice cream and dairy products, but also features hamburgers and fresh produce. The current logo is pretty outdated, so I'd thought I would make a more modern version of it. Old v. New And two distinct logos for the Dairy Store (which I would imagine it to be smaller) and the burger restaurant.
  11. While I finish the MLS x Umbro series, I wanted to share with you a project I've done. Let's start talking about FC St. Pauli. "Fußball-Club St Pauli von 1910 e.V., commonly known as simply FC St Pauli, is a German sports club based in the St. Pauli quarter of Hamburg. The men's professional football team dropped down to the Regionalliga in 2003, at that time the third highest football division in Germany and remained there for four years. In 2007, they won promotion back to the 2. Bundesliga and in 2010, they were promoted to the Bundesliga. Since the 2011–12 season, they have played in 2. Bundesliga, which is the second highest division in Germany." Before showing the rebrand, I wanted to show you their current crest: Now let's explain the rework: I decided to make a different approach to the logo. St. Pauli is well known for its fans, who stand out as an important social group, with values such as anti-racism, anti-homophobia and anti-sexism. Also, the Sankt Pauli quarter is a very strong community, quite different to the rest of the city of Hamburg. That’s why for my design I focused on the skull and the shinbones, which is the symbol of St. Pauli’s fans, and it’s currently almost the “alternate” logo of the club. I kept the circle shape, added a wave pattern to the black background, because Hamburg is a Port City. I kept the city’s crest at the bottom of the design, to maintain the link between the club and the city. And this is the result: I also did a three-kits set, using Under Armour as supplier, which is the brand that will make the club's kit from the incoming season: The home kit is inspired by the 1994/96 kit, featuring black instead of red. I decided to keep the hoops on the shorts and socks as well to make a more "complete" look. The away kit is inspired by the city of Hamburg, so it features red as main colour. I decided to use brown as secondary colour, to link the city and the club. The design uses the home kit as base, but featuring pinstripes instead of hoops. By last, the third kit is inspired by the fans. I decided to use black as main colour, given it's the main colour used by the club supporters, as well as brown details and white logos. I used a subtle pattern based on the Black Flag logo (a Hardcore Punk band), used in such way that it kind of resembles the waves from the new crest. I'm also thinking on uploading how the crest would look on the St, Pauli's stadium, web and Twitter account, but I'm not really sure, because I work using MS Paint, and the result is not that good. C&C appreciated!
  12. The Colorado Eagles have pretty bland designs. (Pictured below) They're not bad, but they don't suit the team, and are definitely not unique. CURRENT JERSEYS: While their logo is nothing special, I figured they should own the three stripes that make up the 'E' in the logo, and also can be seen as wings. I made that the primary striping that wraps around the entire jersey, and I also have 3 jersey sets prepared. I couldn't figure out which pair of pants suited the jerseys best, so I tried all options. (Except for yellow and white, as those would be awful.) For the keen-eyed out there, you may notice the little sublimated 'E' beneath the collar. It's small, and virtually un-see-able, but I figured it's a unique touch that adds on the 'E'-feather identity. Below are some detailed views of the collars. Regardless, vote in the poll above for the best pant color, and let me know what you think! Also, jersey template done by the amazing @timberwolf
  13. Hey guys! I've been working on rebranding a few teams in the Japanese top-flight, the J-League, and i'd love to share them with you! The first one I completed was for the Urawa Red Diamonds, or just Urawa Reds. They're Japan's most popular team and they, like mostly all the other teams, haven't updated their logo in ages. For the most commercialized team, I thought a rebranding to something more accessible would be in order. The first version is a scripted variant, and the second is the standard english. Let me know what you think of this one! My main trade is kit/uniform design, so I may post a few along with the logos if I have time, but the focus is the logos! Wouldn't change much about their uniform styles either. thanks!
  14. Hello, my name is Ignacio and about 6 months ago i've really started getting into PhotoShop. I am 15 years old and like most teens I play video games, especially NBA2K16. NBA2k16 was the first game in the NBA2k series to allow you to upload your logos and make franchises or rebrands in the game. So I have created many rebrands but this is my first serious project. I chose the Portland Trail Blazers, tell me your thoughts, and feel free to take the logos, courts, or jerseys to make tweaks. (all the logos are 100% mine and none are taken from any designer, I promise). Put down designs you would like to share. If you want any more details feel free to ask in a specific question.
  15. Portland State University has a new look, and they announced it...on a Friday night!? http://www.goviks.com/sports/2016/5/5/brand.aspx The primary logo is this: It's paired with a secondary... And this is the accompanying full wordmark: I dunno how to feel. I feel that the PS is kinda...wonky, and the asymmetric crossbar on the A doesn't excite me. However, they did do something I like. The weirdly shaped PS-shield is the sort of mark that, even in a silhouette, is unique. I've never seen it before, that's for sure. There are also new uniforms using a sort of Astros-esque number font.
  16. Hello, just signed up here. Being a Pacers fan is difficult with our bland designs. I did a bit of an update recently and wanted to share. Getting great feedback on the logos but yes, I know the jerseys are too busy. Let me know what you think. http://imgur.com/gallery/wp12x Thanks, BKD
  17. Everyone complains that the Senators primary logo, home and away jerseys, and essentially their entire identity is bland and Reebok cookie-cutter. I completely agree. Also, many people say that the team should go to their 'Throwback Thursday' uniforms full time, and I disagree with that. It wouldn't be bad, but I feel like using the olive branch pattern is more unique and versatile than chest stripes. For these designs, I went to their secondary logo, as it's modern, classic, and good looking all at the same time, and made more traditional jerseys with the olive branch pattern. C+C is appreciated! I also was in the midst of designing full on uniforms, and I couldn't decide on red or black pants. The two possibilities are below. RED PANTS: BLACK PANTS:
  18. Here's a stab at a Rockies re-brand I've been working on. CC appreciated:
  19. This is a logo I created to brand the Vancouver Amazons en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vancouve…... (Their original logo is on their sweaters in the pictures) While the Amazons weren't the first women's ice hockey team to ever exist they were the first ever women's team out of Vancouver to compete in any type of cup in a tournament. Established in 1921... In 1922 they would go on to win the Alpine Club Cup. This is my first in a line of 1800's to early 1900's of women's hockey logos I will be creating and posting. These women are some of the forgotten pioneers of the sport of Hockey and should be remembered and honored. For more info on the women's teams of the late 1800's and early 1900's you should check out "Hockey, A People's History" documentary which tells the story of the beginning of Hockey in the 1800's (both men and women's hockey) all the way up to current hockey. I recommend any fan checks it out. I own it on dvd but the entire series is posted on Youtube in parts so you can watch the whole thing.
  20. *Update added 3/16, still in progress* I don't think the Skins will go in this direction (nor should they necessarily), but I wanted to try something different from most Washington rebrand concepts. I wanted to create something military-themed with a few nods to the franchise lineage. I like the name "DC Soldiers," but "Washington Warriors" would probably work, too... this is a first draft & I do want to make this logo a bit less Archer-ish (especially the eyes), so any feedback would be great!
  21. So I tried my hand at redesigning the Leafs, based on what they teased. This was the result. What do you guys think of it?
  22. Here's an idea or rather my attempt at a refresh for the NRL team - Sydney Roosters - http://www.sportslogos.net/logos/list_by_team/2494/Sydney_Roosters/ I think the current marks are dated and a bit rough to be honest. I thought it would be fun to make up a new set. I've created a chief logo (portrait), wordmark, shoulder/chest badge and landscape lockup. Let me know your thoughts! Cheers
  23. I was playing around with Greek mythology and thought about making teams off of their symbols (e.g. Athena Owls, Zeus Eagles) and decided to go with Bulls for Poseidon. Since he's my favorite, I made them first. After a while I decided to shove that off and use the logo for a Bulls golden anniversary rebrand. https://www.behance.net/gallery/32912741/Chicago-Bulls-Rebrand-Concept Non-Behance bonus:
  24. So for a long time now, I have looked through the great ideas a lot of artists have on this forum and I figured it was about time I made something on my own. So here you have it, my attempt at a redesigned logo for the New England Revolution, who are very much overdue for a makeover. And I made some kits as a bonus. A few points about the new logo: The top of the crest is supposed to resemble the hats worn during the American revolutionFive red stripes to honour the original logoA white circle (a representation of a soccer ball) containing six stars to represent all six states that form New EnglandIn the middle is a pine tree, taken from the flag of New England that many fans wave during home gamesHope you like it! Comments & critique appreciated.
  25. Concept to modernize the Bills look. https://www.behance.net/gallery/32650821/Buffalo-Bills-Update
