  1. Just wanted to show off some logos & helmet mockups for my NFL redesign. C&C is always appreciated! Jerseys & more teams to follow!
  2. I decided to redesign the Seahawks uniforms seeing as how a great population of football lovers hate the current designs. I will be posting another design later using their current logo, but first I will post it with the logo I designed for the seahawks. I really like the accenting that Seattle has going on with the Lime Greenish color. So I kept that, but I brought back the old silver helmet style and changed the blue to a brighter navy/ dark royal look. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  3. I've wanted to do a full NFL uniform redo for a while now, so I figured why not now. Plan is to get them all done in time for the draft. I won't be doing away sets, as my idea is that the NFL could have the last 2 weeks of the year be divisional rounds, and have one be "Past" and one be "Future", and both rounds would be colour vs colour. I'll just be doing the "future" ones at this stage (historical ones I'll do later on), with the idea that Nike (well....me..) are given free reign to do what they want with the uniforms. So bear in mind that some of these could get a little crazy...but they won't all be nuts... I'll post full pics as I do them and link them below for future finding. AFC NORTH Bengals - Browns - Ravens - Steelers- SOUTH Colts - Future Jaguars - Future Texans - Future Titans - Future EAST Bills - Dolphins - Jets - Patriots - WEST Broncos - Chargers - Chiefs - Raiders - NFC NORTH Bears - Lions - Packers - Vikings - SOUTH Buccaneers - Falcons - Panthers - Saints - EAST Cowboys - Eagles - Giants - Redskins - WEST Cardinals - Niners - Rams - Seahawks - I was in a bit of an AFC South mood to start this off so here we have the Titans, Texans and Colts. I'm not really going to do these in any particular order, just as the inspiration comes. Titans I wanted to incorporate the Titans alternate sword logo into the uniform and also to do the flame helmet. Texans I incorporated the horns from the logo into the shoulders, put a sublimated star under the number on the front, and incoporated the Texas flag into the pant stripe. Colts This ones a bit of a departure, I originally mocked up this design before last season, back then it was just blue and white though. The silver (yes, silver...not grey) kind of worked its way in after I reworked the horshoe logo and included silver.
  4. Hey guys, For the past few days, I've been working on a little project with my free time. My goal was to completely redesign the Blue Jackets. With the organization going through a remodel both on the ice and up in the press box, I believe that it is time for the club to usher in a new era of uniforms. While many Columbus fans have grown accustomed to their current uniforms, their identity is not a very strong one. I have heard stories about CBJ fans wearing the team's tshirts around the country/world, and others saying "go Patriots!". First off, I do not own the copyrights on the crest logo. I retraced and made some alterations to the original concept logo that was created by the username "BranMan32" from flickr (Here is the link to the original logo: LINK). -The logo solidifies the team's branding, as it better unifies the team and the Ohio's rich Civil War history. -The traditional striping on the home and road primaries give the team a sharp, respectable look...something in my mind the team has lacked recently (except for the current third). -The numerals are unique to the team, and help build the brand that the current third jersey has. -The shoulder patch reinforces the Civil War theme, and solidifies the Jackets as "Ohio's Team". -The captain patches are unique to the team and fit nicely with the "Ohio branding". -And finally, the alternate pays homage to the inaugural season. Anyways, to the concepts..... enjoy
  5. I've had these in a sketch book for a couple years (made in 2010 if i'm correct) but i decided to update them after i did the same with the mavericks for the contest. Some have been left untouched, some updated. C&C welcome, along with anything else. (NO PARTICULAR ORDER) DALLAS MAVERICKS: http://s1251.photobu... Contest?sort=3 (the sheet is from what i entered in the contest, the others won't be as fancy...) GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS: http://i1251.photobucket.com/albums/hh551/mattberning61/image_zps19b10210.jpg PHOENIX SUNS: momentarily.....
  6. In response to the announcement that the Mavs may be redesigning their uniforms, here's my first-draft attempt. - Brings green back into the color scheme - Side striping designed to resemble a horse's stirrups - Lone Star of Texas forms the notch in the shorts - Western typeface and styling evoke a more distinctively Texan identity HOME: AWAY: AWAY (alternative version if you don't want a third color in your color scheme): Any feedback is much appreciated. UPDATE: I've also been toying with an idea for a Mavs logo (unrelated to the above concept) for a while now, so I thought I'd see what you all thought about that as well. Obviously, this is far from a finished concept -- not only is it currently using a design recycled from another team's defunct logo (Detroit's), but the execution in general is still really sloppy. This is more a "proof of concept" thing, just to see if the idea might be worth refining some more. The basic idea is a horse's head that resembles the state of Texas when turned upside-down (the ambigram wordmark is just sort of an extra). It could be used as a secondary court logo or something. Thoughts?
  7. Hi everybody, new member here. Just thought I'd post this and see if anyone had any thoughts on it. (By the way, please forgive the poor image quality; this was a fairly quick-and-dirty effort.) To start, here's the Hawks' current look. Great lines and curves, but the red-white-and-blue color scheme has become a bit boring and generic now that five different NBA teams are using it. Here's my new color scheme concept, designed to sort of resemble the colors of an actual red-tailed hawk: Updated logos: New court design possibilities: Retro-style uniforms for throwback nights:
  8. Well it's been awhile, but I'm finally back with some new material. This Los Angeles Clippers Identity Concept has been in the works for a few months now...between looking for an internship and moving to London for four months to study abroad I haven't had a ton of free time. But that's enough of my personal life...to the concept! I tried to mix the different eras of Clippers basketball. The primary logo is obviously inspired by the team's original logo, back when they were in San Diego. The script is similar to their current one, but a little cleaner and not slanted. The LAC secondary (or tertiary here) remains, but with some tweaks for beater readability. The number and NOB font stays the same. As for the uniforms, I wanted to go for simplicity. A single, thin stripe down the sides, similar to their previous set, that flares out slightly at the ends. The primary logo (sans-script) appears on both sides of the shorts. Now, my big problem is choosing a color scheme. I started out with their current red and blue with a little silver added in for a little extra depth, but then tried out the powder blue and orange color scheme they wore originally. So I'll post both and see what everyone thinks. So, without further adieu... Red/Blue: Logos | Home | Road | Alternate Powder/Orange: Logos | Home | Road | Alternate
  9. New here and I'm pretty much geeking out on all the awesomeness. I've seen some logo redesigns, and was wondering if anyone had ever approached a team with their redesign? anyone go there?
  10. Due to the cluttering and lack of C&C on my previous redesign I've decided to start a new thread. This will have a slightly different format. I will post all my concepts (including the one's I have already done.) and continue to do that until all 30 teams are finished, and then apply C&C to the concepts at the end? That way, I hope to be able to have continued C&C on my concepts so that the finished one's will be better. Let me know what you think.
  11. Hello everybody, I've been looking on CCSLC for awhile and I finally have decided to post some of my concepts here. All these redesigns are going on my project's site, Tyler's NHL. (Note: Not all of these are concepts, some are just tweaks or minor fixes. Some have no changes at all.) WESTERN CONFERENCE Calgary Flames - Home/Road Chicago Blackhawks - Home/Road ---> Alternate/Winter Classic Dallas Stars - Home/Road Vancouver Canucks - Home/Road ---> Update EASTERN CONFERENCE Buffalo Sabres - Home/Road New Jersey Devils - Home/Road Comment and tell me what you think! Any C&C is appreciated.
