  1. Concept basketball league. Anyone can upload teams until i feel we have enough teams. start off with just a logo or logo package. Teams can be anywhere in North America.
  2. This thread isn't so much a concept as it is a prediction for the Georgia Bulldogs next set of uniforms in 2017. After reading some discussion on UGA forums, it sounds like the Dawgs will upgrade to the Nike Mach Speed template in 2017. Unless Kirby Smart wants to bring his own flavor to the Georgia uniform (praying he doesn't bring back the black striped helmet he wore or the red jersey and black pants combination), it would be reasonable to assume Georgia will mostly just take its current design and transition to the new template. We know the new coach is open to black jerseys as recruits have been seen wearing them. They feature the large collar and Bulldog Bold font, so we know they aren't just recycled from 2007 and 2008. They are brand new jerseys. What I'd like to see is at least bring back red and black pants to be used sparingly on the road and maybe an all black look (normal helmet). The pants designs I propose still use the same stripe as the silver pants, so there is a hidden stripe...just like the 2009 black pants (leave that helmet in the past). These designs would be the only ones used, and ideally Georgia would wear the normal red and white jerseys with silver britches 8-9 games a year. Perhaps a blackout once or twice with a game or two on the road with different pants. One of my Georgia guys suggested next year could go without contrasting collars and cuffs. Not sure how legitimate that is but here is that mockup.
  3. Still on the MVP Baseball series (and I will begin the Ballpark Builder in about a week) but in between, I will make the 10 covers (plus a special cover) for the NCAA Football series. 10 for each region. The winners are: NORTHEAST - Jim Brown MID-ATLANTIC - Micheal Vick GREAT LAKES - J.J. Watt MIDWEST - Tyler Lockett SOUTHEAST - Bo Jackson FLORIDA - Michael Irvin TEXAS - LaDainian Tomlinson ROCKY MOUNTAINS - Kordell Stewart WEST - Troy Aikman & Rodney Peete PACIFIC NORTHWEST - Jake Locker I'll make one a day... no set schedule, but I will start on Jim Brown's cover tomorrow.
  4. This is my Dallas Cowboys Uniform Design. I got the idea from the Dallas Cowboys Star and how it is part of the Lone star state Texas. i added Blue, White, and silver on the uniform. its my first design and i have to say i think i did a good job.
  5. Oh look, another Giants jersey concept. What's new? No but seriously, here's my take on the Giants' road jersey.
  6. I'm sure this has been done before. Mods, please merge this with another thread if necessary. I'll start off with the NFL. First I'll give y'all a blank template to copy/paste; then I'll give my own viewpoints. AFC: AFC East: Boston/New England Patriots New York Titans/Jets Miami Dolphins Buffalo Bills AFC North: Cincinnati Bengals Cleveland Browns Baltimore Ravens Pittsburgh Pirates/Steagles/Card-Pitt/Pittsburgh Steelers AFC South: Baltimore/Indianapolis Colts Houston Oilers/Tennessee Oilers/Tennessee Titans Jacksonville Jaguars Houston Texans AFC West: Los Angeles/Oakland Raiders Dallas Texans/Kansas City Chiefs Los Angeles/San Diego Chargers Denver Broncos NFC: NFC East: Dallas Cowboys New York Giants Boston Braves/Boston Redskins/Washington Redskins Steagles/Philadelphia Eagles (not counting Frankford Yellow Jackets) NFC North: Decatur Staleys/Chicago Bears Green Bay Packers Portsmouth Spartans/Detroit Lions Minnesota Vikings NFC South: Atlanta Falcons New Orleans Saints Carolina Panthers Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFC West: Cleveland/Los Angeles/St. Louis Rams San Francisco 49ers Seattle Seahawks Racine Normals/Racine Street Cardinals/Chicago Cardinals/Card-Pitt/St. Louis Cardinals/Phoenix Cardinals/Arizona Cardinals And...go!

  8. These concepts are for an upcoming fantasy football league, as always created using MS Paint. C&C is welcomed. The first team is the Mutineers. Primary Secondary Uniforms Let me know what you think!
  9. Long time lurker here and finally decided to join so I could start posting stuff I work on to get some CC. This thread will basically just be slight tweaks to current NFL uniforms based off my still pretty novice Illustrator skills. Uniform template taken from template thread - Thanks to OP who made it Fonts - Many fonts and just about all the ones used in my mock-ups are from Conrad. Thanks to Conrad. Disclaimer on this thread so that nobody will be misled: these mock-ups posted will just be slight tweaks to uniforms a la the title of the thread so there won't be any mind-blowing original concepts or original drawn from scratch team logos in these mock-ups. This is more a cross-over of my vision of how certain teams would look in my "perfect world" along with looking for CC on my Illustrator skills and hopefully get some helpful tips. As of now, not every team has or will be mocked up as some teams I think are currently pretty dang close to perfect: Packers, Bears, to name a couple. Some of these mock-ups are ones we've already seen before so I'm giving disclaimer beforehand that I'm not taking credit for coming up with these; and if posted, they've been posted to get feedback on the execution of the design and tips to better it. I'm going to start posting multiple teams at a time from one division if applicable and will wait for CC and try to answer/explain/reply to any comments afterward. Let's start off: NFC West: Arizona Cardinals: For me personally, the Cardinals are the poster child for a team needing a new uniform set ASAP. Living in Arizona, I can't stand the sight of these uniforms since they scream mid-2000's Reebok era with the piping disaster. I'll admit when I was 15-16 years old when these first dropped; I thought they were "kewl" since the previous set was rather bland but this current set has not aged well at all in my opinion. I've seen lot of Cardinals concepts mocked up taking them back to a very traditional retro look and while I agree that it would be 100x better than the current set; I feel like a team such as the Cardinals (despite being one of the oldest franchises) needs to have a more modern set since they honestly (and no offense to any Cards fans) don't have much "history". I think they got to go to a similar route as the Seahawks in being contemporary and not so much straight retro old school traditional style. So my mock-ups of the Cardinals is somewhat simple in general but I've given them a monochrome look to wear at home sorta how the Seahawks are and I think it kind of ties in since they've been a tough home team the last year or two since Arians took over and with the whole "Red Sea" nickname they use. My own CC right off the bat on these: I think the pants stripe design may be too "random" but I was playing around making arcs and didn't want to make every single team have traditional 2 stripe lines. It doesn't match with the traditional striping on the helmet. Edit: Here's my revised Cardinals w/ Icgreiog03's suggested changes. Took off the helmet stripes and changed the pants side pattern to something that fits better w/ the uniform and team. Pants side design taken from "feather" parts on the "crown" of the Cardinals head logo. Latest Edit: Took off the Cardinal head logo off the sleeves and used an Arizona state flag design to replace it. Also, I did my best to fix the whole perspective angle issues on the front and back view of the sleeves that davidmiller5 pointed out. Not perfect which you will notice if you look a lot closer but I did it to best of my capabilities right now. I didn't want to use the official state flag colors on these uniforms even though it's been done before in real life. Just seemed like it'd be forcing it and the dark royal blue from the official flag would clash w/ the Cardinal red and black colors. So to counter this, I did the flag sleeve designs in a tonal color-up that matches the home/road jerseys so it's not so blatant in your face. For the black alt, I did full Cardinals team colored AZ state flag for the color-up. Have 2 diff versions for each home/road/alt set that I tinkered with. Decided to go with the ones posted below where the home and roads have a tonal color effect to blend in w/ each jersey and then the black alt has a full team colored flag sleeve design. The thinking for the black alt was that this set in this universe would be worn for marquee games (prime time, playoff/standing implications, rivalry game, etc) and this is where Cards fans would love to show off their Arizona pride even more than they already do. In the spoilers, I have the flag sleeve designs for the roads that would match the color-up of the flag sleeve design in the home posted above while the black alt's have a blacked out gradient tonal effect. And I do realize how I chose which black alt to use for my "final" set doesn't match how the home/roads are tonal color gradients on the flag design but like I mentioned above, my thinking was to have the "prime time" black alt have a flag design that's more showy and not as subtle as the home/road.
  10. Hey guys! I've recently just made a hockey template with the intention of just showing my Wild logo, but I figured i'd try my hand at some other teams' jerseys and see what you guys think. the first international jersey I've tried is Canada. Will be adding more teams and the rest of the uniform components when time allows. thanks for looking! EDIT: heres a nike vers for those who may dislike my logo.
  11. Heard that the name "Scorpions" might be in the mix for the new Vegas team so thought I'd do up a quick design.
  12. This is, I believe, my third go-around on redesigning uniforms for the NFL, and I'd say it's my best one yet. Just a few ground rules to kick things off: - I'll begrudgingly be abiding by by the league's one-helmet rule. - All teams will have the Nike Vapor Speed uniform system. - Socks are now one-piece, similar to last year's Color Rush, allowing for more flexibility in design. AFC East | AFC North | AFC South | AFC West NFC East | NFC North | NFC South | NFC West
  13. On Twitter and Instagram I am posting a new trio of baseball uniforms every day. I thought I would use the forum here to show them off as well. You can make requests, post opinions, or point out mistakes. I want to make these as accurate as possible and of course mistakes will happen. Having fresh sets of eyes on these have always helped me. You can follow me on Twitter at @DiamondUniforms and Instagram at @JayJaxon Here is Day 1. I'll post the second and third day shortly

  15. I had an idea a little while ago to take an iconic jersey, good or bad, take the overall design of the jersey, and add it to another team's design from that city. I started out with one of the most famously bad jerseys of all time, the vintage Houston Astros jerseys from the 70's/80's. I used red and yellow stripes for the shirt and kept the same design as the original jersey. I'm going to continue this kind of idea with separate jerseys in the future, so let me know what you think of this jersey and I'd love to hear any ideas for future uniforms. I really value feedback. Thanks!
  16. So with my latest project, I've decided to redesign the MJHL (Manitoba Junior Hockey League) For those who don't know, which will be most, the MJHL is a Junior A league in Canada apart of the CJHL for 16-20 year olds. My hometown team, the Steinbach Pistons, are apart of the league. I've been to many games, and have gotten to watch and see what kind of logos and uniforms these teams put on the ice. Some are great, classic and classy, and some are just plain ugly. This is why I've decided to redesign this league. I will post the complete redesign of each team, as well as the current logo, just to provide some background information, for the 95% of people who haven't heard of this league. I've seen a couple redesign on here, but not many. I have finished all the logos, but not the uniform set. So I will be releasing them one by one. This is probably the best option especially since there's only 11 teams in the league. I hope you enjoy this short series! On to the first team, my hometown team, the Steinbach Pistons. In my opinion, they already had one of the best logos in the league, but it was too realistic. Their current logo makes it hard to put on any merchandise like shirts and hats, because of the level of detail on the pistons. So my goal was to simplify the logo. Current logo: Redesign

  19. hey guys! I wanted to make a separate thread for my kits for EURO2016. I appreciate all the feedback thus far in the other thread i've done, the J-League one. I hope you guys dont mind me starting another. I've been doing a few euro 2016 kits for various teams in no particular order or format, but I think you might like them anyway! I've posted them on my Twitter @moomdesigns but really want to put them here to get your opinions! FRANCE HOME NORTHERN IRELAND ALTERNATE ENGLAND + WALES pick 'em RUSSIA (okay so its the USSR, no disrespect, but I really wanted to make a full kit of this shirt which I did a while ago.)

  21. I guess if you wanted to you could extend this to design as well. Anyway, what are some unusual color schemes that have worked well? I immediately think of the NBA in the 1990s, where the Nuggets (navy, copper, red), Grizzlies (teal, black, salmon---really unusual third color), Raptors (purple, red, black), Sonics (dark green, maroon, yellow), and Jazz (purple, copper, black, sky blue) all worked with unusual schemes, although the Nuggets watered it down a bit with a very conservative design. (You could also say that the Edmonton Oilers had a very similar color scheme to those Nuggets for awhile, although the Oilers' "copper" was really more like gold and navy, red, and gold is not an unusual color scheme at all.) Alternatively, what are some that haven't worked? You could argue either way on the '90s Nuggets, I think. Obviously the Detroit Pistons' teal, maroon, yellow, and black getup watered down what had been a very strong brand. The early-aughts Bills' dark blue, red, royal blue, and "nickel" uniforms were atrocious, possibly the worst in NFL history. The Miami Dolphins have always had a unique scheme, but while they don't look awful right now, they probably do look worse than at any other time in their history. The original Buccaneers would be another that would split opinion. Anyway, my faves: 1. 1980s-1996 Dolphins 2. Original Grizzlies 3. Expansion Rays and D-backs (put together) Least faves: 1. 2002-10 Bills 2. 2002-10 Bills 3. 2002-10 Bills Dishonorable mention: '90s Pistons
  22. This has been a long time in the making and when I started this project there hadn't been an NFL redo on here for a while, so I thought what the heck, I'll give this a shot after I went back and took a look at some of my previous NFL concepts and saw how boring and honestly sloppy most of them were. With this concept I challenged myself to think outside the box and go farther that either throwing back to a previous look or just a simple uniform recolor. The most challenging part of this project was working with the handful of team logos that I completely redesigned. I also did some color changes and updates as well. With the logos, I was going for something that was bold, instantly recognizable and captured the essence of the team well. The Logos: Click for Full Size The Uniforms: The uniforms will be presented one at a time in alphabetical order every other day or so. I created my own jersey and pant template. I also tweaked the template as needed to fit the design of any one particular team. I did not want the design of the uniform to be hindered by the template. Each team will be presented in what I have designated as their primary home and away uniforms. I opted to go without alternates because I believe that if each uniform is going to be worn a maximum of 8 times throughout the season, it should be your best look that doesn't need to "supplemented" by a third jersey or multiple helmets. Okay, well thanks for taking a look at this and I would love to hear what you think about the new logos. The Arizona Cardinals' uniforms will be up tomorrow and feel free to offer any C&C because I would love to hear what everyone thinks but I can't promise I will change anything before every team is out there. Thanks a lot for taking the time to take a look. I really appreciate it.
  23. Mods: Feel free to place this in the appropriate forum if this isn't it. I used to love Baseball Mogul, but it bothered me that all the teams and players looked the same. Beginning with Baseball Mogul 14 (paradoxically, the 2013 version of the game), players can design team uniforms in a limited fashion. Choices are limited to hat color, shirt color, pants color, and pinstripe color (I believe pinstripes can be turned on and off as well). That opens up another world in terms of the visual aspect of the game (although I wish they'd include sock color for all uniforms, and shirt and pants stripes for non-pinstriped ones). I'm wondering if I should get it now - it's only $25. I loved the career play and the wide variety of pitches available on the old games, plus of course the historical aspect of it, and I'm sure those have only gotten better in the intervening years. So, for those who have BBMogul 14 and later...do the uniform design options expand any in the later games? Do 15 and 16 have any huge updates that make them worth the extra money? How much do the custom unis improve the visual aspect? Do any of them have custom logos or stadium backdrops enabled? Any input is much appreciated.
  24. If you couldn't figure out by the title, this is my own little fix-it Friday series. I won't necessarily be posting them on Friday, but you get the idea. I'll be focussing on tweaking or overhauling ANY semi/minor pro hockey team in North America. I will not be doing NHL. I'll be taking requests, but kindly leave C + C if you drop by. Template by Chris Smith (Icethetics) and edit inspired by @TRoyConcepts (check out his NHL series, I'm liking quite a bit). REQUEST LIST I will try to get to these when I can, but if it takes awhile, it's nothing personal. Bemidji State Wichita Thunder Colorado Eagles Rocky Mtn. Rage Denver Cutthroats Dayton Gems Team 1 - Tulsa Oilers I used an old 1935 hockey jersey from Tulsa to create the design, along with the classic colours and a modernization of the current look. The team has always flirted with Ranger clones, Oiler clones, and some hybrids, and I wanted to unify the look. The logo is the Oilers wordmark (it's a concept, don't fuss) over the primary look. I'm not sure about it. Let me know. Comments wanted!

    NFL rebrand

I've decided to go through all the NFL teams that need an overhaul. I've started with my favorite team, the Arizona Cardinals. While they sport some of the ugliest uniforms in the NFL, they have been most successful in these duds so in keeping the same color scheme. They have had a Cardinal head in profile as their logo since their St Louis days, so I'm keeping that relatively the same as well.
