  1. I've wanted to do a full NFL uniform redo for a while now, so I figured why not now. Plan is to get them all done in time for the draft. I won't be doing away sets, as my idea is that the NFL could have the last 2 weeks of the year be divisional rounds, and have one be "Past" and one be "Future", and both rounds would be colour vs colour. I'll just be doing the "future" ones at this stage (historical ones I'll do later on), with the idea that Nike (well....me..) are given free reign to do what they want with the uniforms. So bear in mind that some of these could get a little crazy...but they won't all be nuts... I'll post full pics as I do them and link them below for future finding. AFC NORTH Bengals - Browns - Ravens - Steelers- SOUTH Colts - Future Jaguars - Future Texans - Future Titans - Future EAST Bills - Dolphins - Jets - Patriots - WEST Broncos - Chargers - Chiefs - Raiders - NFC NORTH Bears - Lions - Packers - Vikings - SOUTH Buccaneers - Falcons - Panthers - Saints - EAST Cowboys - Eagles - Giants - Redskins - WEST Cardinals - Niners - Rams - Seahawks - I was in a bit of an AFC South mood to start this off so here we have the Titans, Texans and Colts. I'm not really going to do these in any particular order, just as the inspiration comes. Titans I wanted to incorporate the Titans alternate sword logo into the uniform and also to do the flame helmet. Texans I incorporated the horns from the logo into the shoulders, put a sublimated star under the number on the front, and incoporated the Texas flag into the pant stripe. Colts This ones a bit of a departure, I originally mocked up this design before last season, back then it was just blue and white though. The silver (yes, silver...not grey) kind of worked its way in after I reworked the horshoe logo and included silver.
  2. This image was just posted on Iman Shumpert's instagram just over half an hour ago. New orange alternate it seems for the Knicks:
  3. About a year ago after seeing several minor league baseball league concepts on these forums I started to create my own. I created the Southeastern Baseball Association, or SEBA for short. The first team I started was the Baton Rouge Bayou. For some reason I just loved the way the named rolled off the tongue. Check out the whole project here: Behance Edited to add uniform and cap images
  4. In response to the announcement that the Mavs may be redesigning their uniforms, here's my first-draft attempt. - Brings green back into the color scheme - Side striping designed to resemble a horse's stirrups - Lone Star of Texas forms the notch in the shorts - Western typeface and styling evoke a more distinctively Texan identity HOME: AWAY: AWAY (alternative version if you don't want a third color in your color scheme): Any feedback is much appreciated. UPDATE: I've also been toying with an idea for a Mavs logo (unrelated to the above concept) for a while now, so I thought I'd see what you all thought about that as well. Obviously, this is far from a finished concept -- not only is it currently using a design recycled from another team's defunct logo (Detroit's), but the execution in general is still really sloppy. This is more a "proof of concept" thing, just to see if the idea might be worth refining some more. The basic idea is a horse's head that resembles the state of Texas when turned upside-down (the ambigram wordmark is just sort of an extra). It could be used as a secondary court logo or something. Thoughts?
  5. So...that title was a bad attempt at parodying "Island in the Sun," but obviously it caught your attention! It does have something to do with this Phoenix Suns concept, though. While sitting through a marketing ethics symposium today (ugh) I came up with the idea of the Suns having shorts like the recent USF alternates (which are board short themed...island in the sun...yeah?) and a sun-based logo to match it. I thought it would look cool, obviously, but it also has a very southwestern feel to it, like the Hispanic striped blankets you see a lot in those countries and the southwestern states. For the font I expanded the custom font I made for my recent Vikings concept (shameless plug) and added some notches to the sides. This isn't supposed to be any sort of prediction or anything for next year, just a rebrand that makes me feel so fine I can't control my brain (Alright, enough Weezer, here's the concept.) 6. Welp, they're here and so are the opinions. Some like 'em, some don't. I seem to be with the majority who thinks that, while the helmets look something close to Danny Devito's bumcheek (sorry for the visual, but I figure you guys can take anything after seeing that helmet, right?), the uniforms themselves aren't half bad. Fairly decent, even. But who ever said that fairly decent ought to be enough? That's where we come in. I've made just a few changes that have probably already been discussed by other members to turn "fairly decent" into "decenter-ish" while keeping the overall design aspect intact. All I've done is: -Fix the helmet. There's no dissent here. It's gotta go. Here, it's been replaced with one that is matte black. The all-black fits with the set (as well as their tradition) and the matte, I believe, would make the shiny shoulder thingies come out a bit in comparison. -Thin the pants stripe. Not many would say that the Jags failed the the pants design, but I think it could be better. They said they wanted it to convey "speed," though, as it is, it's a little clunky. This could be fixed by thinning the stripe just a bit so it's closer to a conventional stripe. This better conveys speed. The logo has been spotted to follow the change. -Add a sock stripe. I've never been bothered THAT much by the leotard look, but it's worth avoiding it where one can. The tension is broken with a simple teal and gold stripe on the black socks. -Move the patch. Some dislike the patch. I rather like it, but it just seems so much more natural that it goes on the sleeves. I mean, I know you wanna keep your fans close to your heart, but why not proudly wear them on your sleeves? Also, it adds a design element to the big teal blotch and makes it less blinding. But, hey. Enough of my yakking! Whattaya say? Let's boogie! Btw, the monitor I did this on must be pretty crummy because I swear the helmet didn't look that blotchy before. Whatcha gonna do? Also btw, the base that I worked with isn't mine. I'm not sure about whose it is, but I appreciate it's existence.
  7. Hey there people, I'm new here. I've lurked the forums for a while now, spending a lot of time in the "concepts" board. You all do some awesome work and it made me want to give it a shot. So, tonight I put this together. I'm a big fan of Univ. of Maryland's "Pride" uniforms. I think it would be great if the Ravens incorporated the design somehow. I tossed together this mock-up of how I would like to see it done. Kept the main Ravens look the way it was, simply just worked the flag design into the purple on the shoulders and into the black helmet as a "stripe." Let me know what you think!
  8. Thought I'd throw my hat into the ring. This is mostly what I think Nike could do, with some personal tastes thrown in. I kept the clues we have so far (new helmet, gold wordmark under collar, purple collar) and went with a modernized throwback. Starting from the top, the helmet features a new horn that finally matches the logo. This also solves the Revo Speed issues, as it doesn't cross any air holes. The helmet itself is a semi-matte (like the Seahawks) with a scratch/scuff pattern at the bottom a la Rutgers. The jerseys and pants feature yellow-white/purple-yellow Northwestern stripes with angled cutoffs and the scuff pattern in the center stripe. The numbers and NOB are a custom block font (Nike's new thing), with angles matching the angle of the stripe cutoff (30 degrees if anyone was curious). The numbers also feature the scuff pattern, while the NOB is yellow to match the wordmark on the front of the jersey. Lastly, the viking head remains on the sides of the pants. So, here it is! 9. This is a concept ive been workning on this past week hoping to get some c&c on it to see if these actually look good. I know some people dont like black on the lions as they perfer the more traditional look but i wanted to see what you guys had to say. I went with a black helmet with gradient stripes. On the uniform i tried to get the numbers to look like the material the ducks use.
  10. I enjoyed making the Texas Tech uniform concept so much that I decided to work one up for the Cowboys. I've done one of these before and a few people freaked out when they saw it. Remember, this was just for fun. It's not like Jerry Jones is going to go with these next season, so everybody just relax...
  11. Here is my concept for a revamped cowboys uniform. complete with a chrome helmet. comments please!
  12. After working on a new helmet concept for the Red Raiders I decided to work up a couple of uniform concepts too. I've never really done a football uni concept before but I think over all they turned out pretty good.

  15. So after having done a logo for the defunct Federal League and uniform designs for the fictional teams The New York Knights from the movie the Natural and The Mudville Nine from the poem Casey at the bat, I've decided that I'm going to continue making uniform designs for fictional Baseball teams as if they were all members of my new Federal League. (whoa, sorry for the run-on sentence.) Some teams I'm thinking about doing: The Hackensack Bulls (Brewster's Millions) The House of David (Not a fictional team but still and interesting one to try) The Oklahoma Dusters (Just made this one up) If you have any suggestions for teams, please send them my way. This new uniform design comes from an episode of The Twilight Zone called The Mighty Casey. The Zephyrs are a down on their luck team that just happens to have a robot for a pitcher. Anyway, I used that episode and those tacky uni designs from the late 70's and early 80's as inspiration.
  16. Here is a design for the fictional team the Oklahoma Dusters of the Federal League. Obviously I wanted to name the team something that would make sense regionally. My first choice was to go the Native American/Indian route but considering the current climate in sports regarding Native cultures as mascots I decided against it. Plus, I thought that was just too easy. I eventually decided on the Dusters for two reasons. One, this is Oklahoma after all and one thing Oklahoma is known for is the Dust Bowl during the Depression. The other reason is because my dad played on a team called the Dusters when he was in little league and I've always liked that name.
  17. Simplifying the Atlanta Falcons without reinventing the wheel. What do you think?
  18. Ok, so we've all heard the one about the Might Casey and the Mudville Nine but none of us have ever really seen their uniforms. So with that in mind, I came up with this. I wanted to take some design cues from the 1880's even though this template is obviously a modern design hence the pillbox hat, striped stockings and the moustache. The use of brown as the primary color, I think should be obvious...
  19. I have been working on concepts for over 2 years now and I have always been baffled with how to handle the Jaguars. With the release of the new logo yesterday and the growth in my skills of working my paint program, I decided I would try again. The news release said that the team would be using more gold in their new scheme, so I incorporated that. I don't know how many people like the helmet finish that the Jags have used over the past few years, but I did like them. All I did with the helmet was change the speckle from teal to gold. The rest of the uniform is pretty self explanatory. Let me know what you think. I'm only going to post the Homes for now and I'm open for constructive criticism and modifying the concept a bit. Here it is
  20. A modern take on the New York Knights uniform from the movie The Natural using a template I found here in the forums. I went back and forth on whether or not I should go with the orange sleeves/leggings or the navy on the alternate uni.
  21. So, i decided to try and make a new jersey for tech with a vintage feel. i just started photoshop/illustrator so bear with me here on how it looks lol.
  22. The logos are similar to begin with, and I'm not sure who had it first, but this looks awful reversed out. It creates all kinds of strange negative space, and well, it's been done already. WMU has a unique color scheme to work with, and this is really disappointing to see.
