  1. I did some remixes of old jerseys with the modern teams' brand/colors along with the nike template. Would any of these make a good redesign? Let's start with the Bucks: Here's a more boring one with the Bulls:
  2. *Not sure if I'm posting this in the correct thread as I haven't posted on this site in probably over a decade. Wildcats Jersey design competition Australia's biggest and most successful Basketball Club the "Perth Wildcats"are asking fans for uniform concepts for the coming season. They'd been one of the best attended clubs outside North America too with a crowd ave over 12000. Was wondering if any of you would be keen of having a crack at designing a uniform for the competition. Their logo is in desperate need of an update or redo too. The Wildcats have solid colours but never seem to be able to nail it, often with poor and unrelated typography, chopping and changing every season over the last decade. Sponsorship placement has also been messy. They predominantly play in Red (the fan base is called the Red Army) since 2009. founded in 1982, they originally utilized the Western Australian state colours of Black and Gold. They introduced white in 1987 and red accents in 1989 (from a sponsorship of a local Brewery). In 1995 they dropped the Gold and standard white home Singlet for a Black home Singlet with secondary colours of Red and Grey/silver. They wore variations of Black till 2008. Since then, the club has really embraced Red at the dominant colour though there's some nostalgia for the Uniforms of the late 80's to mid 90's. *Some of their Singlets over the years. Championships in 2, 4, 5 ,7 (7 is the current Singlet). 8 and 9 being city round and indigenous round one offs. They suit a more dynamic modern design than a standard traditional block letter Basketball uniform. They have almost always worn V neck Singlets. They have also often had the front numbering offset or above the team name (like in Euroleague basketball). Colours: Red Secondary colours (or away) colours: Black, White Accent (or alternative) colours: Grey/Silver, Yellow/Gold Portland and Toronto uniforms would be in the ballpark.
  3. Hey what's up, everyone! For the past years, I've been known for football concepts, but my first love has always been basketball. I've been doing NBA uniform mockups since elementary. My love for sports logos started with NBA, and I frequently browse for NBA logos on the mothership. And now, after a few years of conceptualizing (I created some new logos two years ago), I now unveil my NBA uniform (for some teams, logos) concepts! Though the teams below are listed by division, I'm unveiling the uniforms randomly. The main component for all uniforms is that the NBA logo on the jerseys is now brought back to the front right side, eliminating the use of sponsor patches. However, the Nike logo is still located in its current position. And for uniformity, I eliminated the championship tag on the back of the jerseys. EASTERN CONFERENCE Atlantic: Boston | Brooklyn | New York | Philadelphia | Toronto Central: Chicago (v.2) | Cleveland | Detroit | Indiana | Milwaukee Southeast: Atlanta (v.2) | Charlotte | Miami (v.2) | Orlando | Washington WESTERN CONFERENCE Northwest: Denver | Minnesota | Oklahoma City (v.2) | Portland | Utah Pacific: Golden State | LA Clippers | LA Lakers | Phoenix | Sacramento Southwest: Dallas (v.2) | Houston | Memphis | New Orleans | San Antonio
  4. Redoing this concept yet again. (Original: https://boards.sportslogos.net/topic/119787-kansas-city-stealth-nba/) The Kansas City Stealth would be an expansion NBA team located in Kansas City, Missouri. Kansas City would be a good basketball market, as it's less than an hour away from the University of Kansas, and plays host to the Big XII Basketball Tournament, as well as several March Madness games each year. The sport is very popular in the KC area and in Missouri as a whole, and would garner a following in both Missouri and Kansas. The home games would be played at the Sprint Center in Downtown Kansas City, and the team would be in the Western Conference. The name "Stealth" comes from the B-2 Spirit Bomber (often referred to as just a "Stealth Bomber"), which is based at Whiteman Air Force Base, less about an hour or 2 away from Kansas City. I did some updates to the logo (it's a new bomber, my design skills have improved from the old one). The fonts, monograms, color, and wordmarks have stayed the same. Main Logos: Horizontal Logos (showing the new bomber): Monograms: Heart Logos (Kansas City is known as the "Heart of America". The symbol is very common around KC). Wordmark (not much change here): Uniforms: Uniform Explanations Home/Away/Alternates on 1st row: Same as the last concept City Home and Away (Primary): Feature the heart logo on a background of 2 crossed lines (to represent the "Crossroads of America"). Instead of saying "Kansas City" or "Stealth", the jerseys say "Heart of America" (explained above) City Home and Away (Alternates): Feature a faded fountain design, that wraps from the front to the back of the jerseys. Kansas City is also known as the City of Fountains (it has a lot of nicknames). Throwback: Features the same colors as the Kansas City Kings did before moving to Sacramento. The sponsor is Sprint, which is headquartered in Kansas City. C&C Welcome and Appreciated.
  5. Hello everyone! I'm going to be sharing my NBA concepts: I started these two years ago, then in this time I redid everything like two or three times before having the almost final version. I’ll post with home/road/third/alternate jerseys for each team and then maybe I'll post some outtakes or other proposal. Before I get into it, major thanks to all the other designers on these boards who keep putting out inspiring stuff. All comments and criticisms are greatly appreciated! 1)Milwaukee Bucks 2)Indiana Pacers 3)Utah Jazz
  6. Hi take a look on my last work hope you'll enjoy it....
  7. Hello! I've decide to do a personal rebrand of the LA Clippers. Funny how this team is how I started on this forum... anyways, feel free to critique while i show off my stuff. I'll be adding some more stuff in the coming weeks along with some more info about the designs. This is the association (light) jersey. The back is to "simulate" a Foxhound fur pattern of sorts. This is the Icon (dark) jersey. This is the Statement (Alternate no.1) Jersey. And these are the City (Alternate no.2) Jerseys. Enjoy!
  8. Nike released their World Cup uniforms, and they are all on the same template, except for the US and China, which are on a different template with a hilariously bad Nikespeak explanation. The US one might be their worst ever, even worse than 2014. With a red/white/blue color scheme it’s probably not a good idea to use a design close to the Wizards, so of course they just ditched the red https://news.nike.com/news/nike-and-jordan-brand-basketball-federation-uniforms-china-2019
  9. *The template I use is not mine. All credit goes to DarthBrooks for the template.* This is a concept of me posting about NCAA courts that I recreate, and are not real. These are fictional designs, and I am looking to make quality content, as well as get feedback to improve. 10. I am using this site to post my college basketball court concepts hope you enjoy them. Any requests or feedback would be greatly appreciated. The template I am using is made by darthbrooks.
  11. I mainly tried making these based off city edition jerseys or just making a new standard court. I use a lot of wood stain because that’s just my style and it seems to be the trend nowadays. Suggestions and ideas are welcomed. 12. I'd been looking for a basketball player template what looked "collegiate," and I hadn't been able to find one. So, I made one of my one, using several different sources. I used PaintDotNet, so I think the best file I can share is a PSD file. Here you go. Down below is what it looks like. If it downloads correctly for you, it should have 13 different layers, two of which are hidden. I'll also upload a separate shoe template file, so you can color/edit those and then add them to your player. I hope you enjoy it; if you do, feel free to add your concept on this thread. Here's the link for the shoes. You can see the differences in the player below.

Hi guys, I haven't post here for a loooong time.... I don't know if this is the right place for these in case it's not I'll post them in general designs... ^^ I have some stuffs I been working on, I've always been a huge fan of cereals boxes in general. I love the characters, the universe etc. That plus the fact that I am a college basketball lover, I've decided to associate both to create cereals designs with my favorites athletes. Here are what I've done so far, it's not perfect but with a some work and practice I can (I think) be in the right direction. Tell me what you guys are thinking about these. Here are the Tennessee Volunteers with Grant Williams, Admiral Schofield & Smokey the mascot. Here is Rui Hachimura from Gonzaga. Enjoy!

I dont know where to start to be honest so I will keep it short. First of I must tell you that my concepts would not be possible without @Hoopladawg87! He has given me much thought and guidance throughout the creative processes which resulted into this. I can't thank you enough, Hoopla! One thing you guys will probably notice that my template is basically a cheap copy of his, which it really is, and imitation is the sincerest form of flattery after all! So with my limited skills and an eye to detail severely lacking, I tried to make my template like his with the hopes that it would give the concepts a heightened sense of realism. As this is my first post on this great forum it felt only natural to present my favourite team, arguably the greatest franschise in the NBA - the Boston Celtics. The Boston Celtics home and away uniforms, now named association and icon, are timeless. Clean, classic and one of the most recognizable in sports. Ever since I saw the St. Patricks uniform I could never shake the feeling that gold is such a beautiful complementary colour to the kelly green and white. I made several renditions but I felt the gold trim was too much, too invasive and bordering on sacrilege. The route, or solution, was to change the Nike logo and players name on the back to gold. A minor change, almost unrecognizable but I feel it is in tune with Nike's minimalistic direction. All comments and criticisms are greatly appreciated! 15. It's been entirely too long, CCSLC. How I've missed partaking here.. back after a few quieter years of browsing through. https://www.behance.net/gallery/76186641/Branding-Brooklyn-Jam Teaser image: For those of you that don't know me, I joined this board when I was all of 17 (almost 32 now)... and was part of a select assortment of designers, that started their careers on concepts made in MS Paint, (yes that MS Paint, in all of its pixelated nostalgia). Gained so much knowledge here, not just at the level of sports branding, but design in general. It's great to see how far Chris has brought this endeavor. I'd like to update you all with a recent project, involving the development of a charity basketball tournament, taking place annually in Brooklyn, NY, at the infamous Basketball City (2017) as well as Sportika Sports (2018). The tourney, in addition to a series of five-on-five games leading to a championship, for boys' in their junior high-high school years, boasts a robust dunk contest, featuring dunkers from TNT's Dunk King, and many guest appearances from current NBA players, and NY basketball legends (Charles Oakley, Larry Johnson, John Starks, Kyle O'Quinn, and Quincy Acy, to name a few). I've recently added the project to my Behance portfolio, and would like to share here. This, paired with the 2014 NBA Summer League design internship, were the closest I've come to professional sports branding. There's a project also on my Behance, dedicate to this intthat displays some of the creative from that year's Summer League, where I interned through the entirety of the 2-week rookie-packed event, as lead designer, in Las Vegas: https://www.behance.net/gallery/18595973/Designing-the-2014-NBA-Summer-League. (This page in my portfolio needs some serious updating, as I did with the Brooklyn Jam, but still shows the greater parts of the project. I've got more work to share, and I hope to be posting over the next few weeks, in tandem with updating my portfolios. I hope everyone from the days of yesteryear are doing well; designing and thriving. Looking forward to hearing from everyone!! Bonus content: MY OLD WEBSITE containing all of the MS PAINT madness!! Enjoy!! http://www.angelfire.com/va3/logoandunifrmconcpts/ **I admit that I've slacked tremendously on updating the NBA uniforms section of the site; most of which I created the images of each, currently on display. I have aspirations to jump back in this, though its a tedious task--I'd surely benefit from a team that could split some time on updating it. With all of the new Nike unis, its sure to be a heavy (but fun) lift.
  16. Well, it's been a long time since I've posted a logo concept on here. Now, I have a semester-long project in my project management class and I chose to put an NBA expansion team in Pittsburgh. The name I chose is the Pittsburgh Peregrines; named after the fastest flying animal on the planet. I am not the best at drawing, so I traced over the picture of the peregrine you will see below. I know right now it looks more like an illustration than a logo, and that's what I need your help with. What can I do to make it look more like Boston College's Eagle or UTSA's Roadrunner? Any help would be appreciated. I will also be posting other alternate logos and uniforms eventually. C&C much appreciated!
  17. So Ice Cube's traveling 3 on 3 basketball league is still up and running. Not only that, but it's expanding from 8 teams to 12. They've announced a new team each Friday for the last 3 weeks. So far they've announced the Triplets, Aliens and Bivouac with a final team to likely be announced next Friday. s I've always wanted to see a sports team use Aliens for it's theme/branding, but not necessarily use the name Aliens. Maybe go with Invaders or Martians, but that's just me. I believe there's a lot of potential with Ant themed branding (insects in general are underused in sports). The logo they went with is solid IMO. The name though.... yeesh! Can't help but think Fire Ants or Colony would have been better names than Bivouac. Everybody that saw this post on social media had to look up the meaning of it. Keep it simple Cube lol A little corny how many of the teams in this league feature 3 in it's name in some form. With that said, Triplets is okay to me.
  18. After seeing the atrocious court for the 2018 Braggin' Rights Game between Illinois and Missouri I created my own take on a court for this annual neutral site matchup. Each team gets their own half of the court split by the Mississippi River which serves as the border between the two state.
  19. The Miami Heat brand is stale. Their logo style has been around since the eighties and their uni style has been around since the nineties. That's acceptable if you're a team like the Chicago Bulls, who have had the same beloved, iconic logo since their inception in the 1960's. Miami's Flaming-ball-through-basket logo has become almost iconic in it's own right, but most logos that have hung around as long as the Heat's become well-respected, regardless of imperfections. The Heat fans seem desperate for a change and have embraced the team's alternate Vice identity as strongly as America embraced Crockett and Tubbs in 1984. That's great and all, but a 30+ year old fanbase deserves a fresh, relevant basketball identity so that's what I sought to accomplish with this rebrand. Odes to Miami Days, Dusks, and Nights are included throughout as the main logo becomes sleeker, more abstract, and with more purpose. The colors are more current, bright pink and orange in, yellow out. There's also, I hope, a feeling of versatility in the different brand assets from the uniquely Miami neon set piece to a more hipster element seen in the repeating word mark and color ID. Cause the NBA. The static backgrounds are a small vaporware touch and the Billboard hangs on to a little bit of the Miami Vice alt. identity, which in this universe sticks around as a City 4th jersey. Thanks for Watching!
  20. I’m going to be sharing some NBA concepts I’ve been working on and tweaking for a while now. I started these almost two years ago when the first Nike designed uniforms came trickling out. I was a bit underwhelmed by many of them and started to work up my own. The time has come to share!I haven’t posted concepts on these boards in probably 5 years (and those were under an old username), so this should be fun! I'm here for the feedback, comments, and criticism so don't hold back! I want to make these better, so please help!I’ll start with basic icon/association/statement sets for each team and then loop back around at the end to get a bit more wild with the city, and maybe earned, sets if inspiration strikes. Before I get into it, major thanks to @Hoopladawg87 for sharing this template with me, and to all the other designers on these boards who keep putting out inspiring stuff - I find browsing here to be super motivational. 21. Hey everyone! If you guys remember a while back I started on this NBA jersey database project that eventually spawned into a Tumblr. I need everyone's help again. I decided to ditch the old template with a newer, easier to edit, one. But I'm going to need a lot of help on how the jersey shape/length/belt/shorts evolved throughout the years. I did my own research and this is what I've come up with so far: (Note that the years indicated refer to the jerseys templates only and not the jerseys themselves) Ok. So for this first batch: I'm not sure when they stopped using belts for their shorts. I noticed on team photos that by 1956 the jerseys were a bit wider on the shoulders. It went even wider at 1968 with a new V-neck collar jersey at 1974. 1986 was when they added the NBA logo. For 1994 I widened the arm holes a bit more and made the shorts slightly longer. To anyone who knows more about this stuff, I'd be really grateful for some notes and criticism. Thanks everyone!
  22. Hello! I’ve always been a huge fan of sports branding and history, but I’ve never actually taken to creating my own logos/jerseys until now. I figured this would be the best place to post my first attempts at creating teams because you all seem to give useful feedback, even if it isn’t always exactly what the artist want to hear. For this project I’ve created 8 team leagues for baseball, american football, basketball, and hockey, and I've decided to use my own templates. The templates are pretty basic but I’m proud of them. Any recommendations for upgrading the templates would be greatly appreciated as well. I should also mention that for the time being I am using a program called Vectr. First up will be the Stars and Stripes Baseball League. Each team will have a home, away, and alternate uniform. The 8 teams will be in these markets: New York Los Angeles Chicago Houston Phoenix Philadelphia San Antonio San Diego The first team posted is the New York Honeycrisps, which is based on the “Big Apple” nickname for New York. I know cliches aren’t always the best way to go, but I couldn’t keep myself from trying to create an apple holding a bat. Anyways, I’d really appreciate your feedback on what areas I could improve in. Thanks for reading!
  23. After my hockey project crashed and burned, I think I've found something that will stick. This time, I proudly present the Continental Basketball League. To make a long story short, the league was founded in 1938 by prominent Boston businessman George Finlay to capitalize on the growing popularity of basketball on college campuses throughout the nation. In the beginning the league had only six teams, situated in the northeastern part of the US, but the league name suggested that Finlay had much greater aspirations for the league. At this time, the CBL doesn't have a logo, but if I must create one, I will. This time around, I have a preliminary jersey and logo ready. I'll be revealing each inaugural team one at a time. First up is George Finlay's team: the Boston Redcoats! The team logo very simply uses two crossed muskets in the team color, which more or less matches the red color worn by the British Army during the occupation of Boston: And here is the uniform the Redcoats take to the hardwood with. All the teams at this time use only one jersey: As I said before, both the logo and uniform are preliminary. While I am mostly happy with the uniform, the one thing that bugs me is that the collar is v-neck, which did not exist at this time. I am quite a beginner where graphic design is concerned so I wouldn't know how to change it. Also, I would like to add piping on the arm holes (is that what they're called?) and the collar that was prevalent at the time but don't how to do that either. Any and all C&C is greatly appreciated and encouraged.
  24. As you may have seen, I'm working in my Nationstates nation for some days. But during the day, while I'm at work, I don't have access to it. And in my job, after a huge amount of work, we sometimes have a "little-to-none work" day. This is the result of my "little-to-none work" day today. Still in early stages, without elaborated logos, patches, mesh or stunning details like jersey cuts. Some criticism is appreciated. When I have a final version, I plan to release it in a proper SVG or AI.
